This was our first time going to Southern Vines. We wanted to go out close to home, so we decided to give it a try. My boyfriend loved the salad bar. However our steaks were both pretty tough and lacked seasoning / flavor. However, the Brussels and mashed potatoes were delicious. Our server was also very sweet and attentive. Would give it one more chance.

The fact I haven't been here before now blows my mind!We stopped in around 630 on Wednesday and I will say, the place looked closed but don't let that deter you. We walked up and were immediately greeted and seated. I ordered an apple pie cocktail (this is a must order) to start and they brought a basket of rolls. The rolls were so soft and fluffy! I know people talk about roadhouse rolls but these are definitely right up there with them! And they came with this cinnamon butter that was incredible. I may have eaten the other half of my boyfriends roll. He ordered a steak topped with Asiago and mushrooms while I ordered the new Orleans salmon. The steak was so incredibly tender. It basically melted in your mouth. My only slight disappointment was the alfredo sauce for the salmon was broken and a little lumpy. The flavor was on point but I would have preferred a non-broken alfredo sauce. This is now one of my favorite steakhouses and I'll definitely be returning in the future!

Had a dinner for friend and his wife. They are both unable to eat beef or pork so we had to have a location with fish and seafood as well as chicken. Southern vines fit the bill. Not crowded so we were seated quickly. The grill was rolling as there was a bit of a haze of smoke from the bbq grill to tease your senses. I had the bourbon glazed salmon and they both had the grilled chicken with a side of shrimp. A nice salad bar comes with all entrees and was well appointed. We also had a side of calamari. All was delicious. The server was exceptionally sweet and did an awesome job. The decor was simple and clean and bright. The bar with a well stocked liquor shelf is front and center. Plenty of parking and easy access. Good find and well worth the drive.

First time, date night. Clean, a full bar, and salad bar greeted us. Ordered a ribeye, twice baked and stuffed potato, with all the fixings. Fresh bread came with a really weird attempt at sweet cinnamon butter. No sweet, and really no cinnamon, just brown swirls in the butter. But the bread was good. Salad bar was well supplied, three greens to choose from, baby spinach, Romain and butter lettuce, all very fresh. Took a while for our steaks, but it was worth the wait. Juicy, flavorful, no gristle, and the potato was the bomb. Pretty plate of food. Will be back to try other items on the menu.

We've lived in Benson for nearly a year and have been wondering when we'd find a decent restaurant- spoiler alert: we found it (it's better than decent LOL)Just off 95, this is a SUPER CUTE spot that has impressive service and great food. We were honestly kinda shocked by just how great it was. Our server, Jarrett, was beyond exceptional. I think finding someone with a true knack for customer experience is a rarity these days, but Jarrett has it. He was present without being overbearing, kind, attentive, funny, personable, and all around lovely. The food was another joy! The salad bar was a little slim (there was a huge party in front of us) but still delicious. The rolls and house made cinnamon butter? Texas Roadhouse who? LORD! So good. My husband and I both got petit filet as our entree and they were perfect. We were so full we didn't even eat our sides (that's tomorrows lunch!) but the potatoes looked amazing. We were thrilled and will make this a go-to, you should too!

We went this evening as my wife and I were in the area. I got the 20oz and my wife got the filet. Mine was exceptional my wife felt hers was good. The servers were friendly and attentive. The one thing we both agreed on was the loaded baked potato serving method needs to be reviewed, a larger and shallower ramekin is needed. The way they are served at present your potato to topping ratio is just off and it's hard to mix the toppings through (they were out of bacon that night) . I would definitely go back if in the area, drinks were well made, the food quality was good and the prices reasonable.

Excellent restaurant addition to the Benson/JoCo area.Our family celebrated a birthday at this restaurant.Once drink order was made, a basket of dinner rolls with cinnamon butter were served. The ribeyes were cooked perfectly and, seriously, could be cut with a fork.Filet was amazing, as well. They have aged steaks, flavorful. Meat entrees include your choice of starch, and the salad bar, which was fresh and well stocked. Housemade dressings, yum.Bourbon glazed salmon was good, garlic cilantro rice, a nice accompaniment. Their other "starches" included a loaded potato, or twice baked, both were served in a crock. Fries, another starch option.Coke products and brewed tea, and a wine and cocktail listing. Desserts, made in house and large enough to share. A variety of menu options, including vegetarian.The staff, second to none, everyone friendly, aimed to please, from the time we sat down until we left. Other establishments would do well to hire staff such as these.Looking forward to our next visit!

The place is a little off the beaten path but it's 100% worth it. The steak and shrimp were delicious! The Brussels sprouts are absolutely incredible. Summer made us feel so welcomed and was beyond kind. We will definitely be back!

Great food, great drinks, great service. Have been here several times and each experience is just as amazing! Jarret was very helpful and knowledgeable of everything going on. Between the bread, appetizers, soups and salad bar those alone can fill you up. The entrees on the other hand are well perfected and be sure to try and leave room for dessert as well! I highly recommend visiting Southern Vine's.
