Southern Style Barbecue & Fried Chicken

They got the best fry wings ever!! And when it comes right down to it everything they cook is amazing Clinton NC is Blessed to have this restaurant

Any time I'm in Clinton I always make an effort visit. I do recommend calling ahead and picking up your order especially during "peak" hours. They are known for having a long line which will take a while for them to work though. On-site parking is available, some behind the building. Also, a building beside the restaurant is available for customers to sit and eat. I ordered:- Small Fish Plate- Cole Slaw- Fries- Banana pudding - Drink (16 oz)My total came to $13.63. I was able to split this into two meals.The food ... no seasoning (not even salt) was on the fries. The fish by itself is bland as well - I usually hit it with some hot sauce/tarter sauce to spruce it up. The fish will have bones FYI. The coleslaw is finely chopped and juicy (which I like). But the banana pudding was a huge disappointment. It tasted like the store-bought banana jello mixture with cookies and bananas. I 100% expected this to be homemade. I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a little girl ALWAYS getting the small fish plate! I really wanted to give 4 starts - but the banana pudding took them down a notch! They definitely have stayed consistent with their food. Even though certain items needed some seasoning, I would still recommend this restaurant BUT NOT THE BANANA PUDDING.

The food is cheap, but it's plain and unseasoned. Also, there's a line from here to Switzerland. The line is annoyingly long and it takes forever to finally get to the drive-thru window. Long story short, I won't be coming back

Love the food, and there's no surprises , comfort food at its best. Hush puppies are nice and light slightly sweetened, and the coleslaw is what coleslaw supposed to taste like

Went here for lunch while on work trip the food was so good. Had the fried chicken. Stopped the next day to take dinner home for the family. Would highly recommend.

I was looking for a place too eat In my brother in law they tell go in try this place soo I went in they were right that was a good place too eat omg the chicken was soo good in perfect cook in have taste.. in im not from NC I came from California too visit them in its the best southern food I try.. in best thing when I walk in there too make the order I nice lady tell me that the bbq sauce has pork . I'm glad because I'm muslim in we don't eat pork thank for been nice too tell me.. in she tell me too try chiken before I bought it in she give me a free drink lemonade was good if u are in the area have a lunch or diner at this place in the place its realy clean keep the good work in the good food in I wll be back soon

Always good food. I really like the southern style fried chicken! Other reviewers are unfairly rating this restaurant because they are eating "door dash" or some other delivery service food. Go to the restaurant, order your food and eat it hot. This is the way you enjoy southern food. Not sitting in a bag for 20+ minutes before eating. I've has the fish, pork sandwich, and chicken many times. Always good food!

All of the food I got was extremely unseasoned. French fries absolutely no salt undercooked chicken, zero seasoning whatsoever greasy and nasty. The pork had about quarter of a cup of water in it would not recommend this place.

This place has the best chicken in town! Also has good sides (collards, yams, Cole slaw, etc.).

Best chicken ever! Fast and friendly service. Samantha and her team are awesome! Great for family meals, big parties, and tailgates!
