Went to brunch alone around 1145 they opened at 11. There was no wait and I immediately sat at the bar. The waitress was kind and attentive. Both my app and entree were good. Peach moscato was simple and good. Their cocktails are extremely high. Like nothing less than $20. Now for my issues: I laughed in the valet guys face when he said it's $10. Not because of the price but I understand the Atlanta thing to do is to charge to park in a shopping center parking lot when it's normally free. I find it tacky and there's only 10 parking spots anyway. I was fine with my service but I noticed I ordered, received and finished my food and nobody else received theirs. People actually started leaving because of the slow food. Didn't impact me but I witnessed probably 45 mins of me sitting at the bar eating and no other food came out. Strange.I might come back but likely not as the food was good but there's so many other brunches to try that might wow me. This didn't wow me but it was good

We never begin a review without thanking our friends at Yelp for providing a platform for the Voice of the Customer. This week's feature is Southern Queenz restaurant located in Atlanta, Georgia. Once again another horrible strip club business model, over priced restaurant with the 18% service fee for food you can make yourself. Regardless of what the "influencers" say, this place is not worth the hype. It's simply stupid and ridiculous to charge people 18% before they place their order. Adding fuel to the fire they are located in the armpit of a raggedy strip mall with limited parking off of Memorial Drive. This restaurant has been added to the 2024 don't waste your time list. You have better food at home.

Came here on a Wednesday night without a reservation, thankfully they were not crowded because there is not that much seating. The food was delicious! The waiter was awesome! The drinks were delicious as well. I had a lemon drop and it was very good! This is perfect for a date night or if you're looking for something to do with just a few people. They do have seating at the bar however it's not huge on the inside so I would definitely recommend making a reservation if you were going to go during peak hours. The parking lot is not, that big so if it's a busy day, you may not have anywhere to park.

I finally got a chance to check this place out. I met up with a friend late on a Friday night. The restaurant is in a strip mall with limited parking. Thankfully it was late and there was plenty of parking. We came in and were seated. It's a cute spot that is small. They offer the menu via QR code and they have all day brunch and it looked like all day dinner as well.I ordered a shrimp basket with a side of broccolini and my friend ordered The Southern Crown plate with 3 chicken wings with sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, collard greens and cornbread. Overall the food was good as well as the service. Drinks were also good. I'll definitely come back.

If you want to experience Atlanta this is the place. The music, the people, the vibe was very ATL! The food was really good. I went with a party of 9 and surprisingly our food orders came out pretty quickly and tasted delicious. Our server was organized and handled our party just fine. The owner even stopped by our table to make sure everything was good! I would definitely return here whenever I'm in Atlanta.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. I was told it was a 40 minute wait however the wait was 1.5 hours. They take reservations but it has to be at least a party of 5 and there are no reservations on Sunday only walk in. Parking is $10 to park on the weekends. I ordered the frozen mimosa it was really good, chicken wings for appetizer were decent. The shrimp deviled eggs were the bomb and tbt shrimp was juicy and seasoned. My friend ordered the peach chicken and waffles it was really good and chicken came out piping hot. I ordered the chicken wing dinner which was excellent. The greens , yams and Mac n cheese were bomb too. The service was really good also and I am big on customer service. I would love to come back but probably wouldn't due to the long wait.

We were hungry on a late night after pickleball and had to find somewhere to eat at 9:45PM on a Friday night 1/5/24. Lucky to have found this spot to gorge ourselves on. We had the Fried Shrimp Basket tossed in Hot Honey Sauce (5/5), with Dirty Rice (5/5), Mac N Cheese (4.5/5), and the seafood egg rolls (3/5).We will come back for the Hot Honey Shrimp and Dirty Rice, it's just that good. The shrimp don't come like that, but service was more than happy to oblige to the request. Only 6 shrimp, but they are huuuge. Hot Honey shrimp should be in the Menu! The Dirty Rice is addicting. I've never had something like it, it's kind if like Jubalaya. I want to get a a catering order of it and bring it to Thanksgiving and act like I made it.The Mac N Cheese was right with a thick layer of cheese on top. The seafood egg rolls were okay, kind of small and could have used an additional stuffin...like dirty rice! The service was fast and super friendly. I wish I had the Gentleman's name it wasn't on my digital receipt. Slim guy that wore a hat. He was very nice and accommodating. Shout out to him. The place is very small and trendy, they have about 3 tvs. They have Hookah there so you have to be comfortable with Hookah smoke. We don't have a problem even though we don't hookah, just thought y'all should know. The parking was fine a bit tight, but no valet. But you can always park in the neighborhood. The menu prices are a little high and they include gratuity then ask for more gratuity on top. It was weird, never seen anything like it. There were option of 3,5 and 7 percent. We were told that goes directly to the waiter. All in all we will definitely be making a trip back for dirty rice and hot honey shrimpies.

I guess I came on the wrong day at the wrong time. I came here with family on a Sunday afternoon. Long story short, I wish the food had more flavor. I wish the parking was better and they didn't up charge for the smallest things. First on my list is service. Our server didn't create a lasting impression. But I don't necessarily blame her for some of the problems we had as a whole. We needed small plates for the appetizers and had to wait until they washed clean ones. The ambiance was cool. Music was cool. Took forever for our server to grab the check. I'm used to the owners of restaurants walking around and checking on their guests to make sure everything is ok. She stayed at the podium and could've cared less if everyone was ok.My table ordered a few appetizers (Seafood rolls,Ghetto Nachos, and fried cauliflower). The seafood rolls were pretty good but not worth the price. The ghetto nachos weren't special in any way and honestly pretty standard to me. The fried cauliflower was lightly fried and had excess cauliflower juice at the bottom of the plate. The siracha aioli sauce was unnecessary as a topping. As far as the main dishes, I ordered the Southern Crown dinner. The fried chicken tasted like they only seasoned the flour and not the chicken. The greens were undercooked and not even the hot sauce could save them. The yams weren't as sweet as I thought they were going to be. And the Mac and cheese didn't meet my expectations at all. I could taste the velveeta but not the actual seasonings. I appreciate them trying to make the plate look presentable by adding the salad at the bottom but most of the garnish on the plates weren't needed.

We stopped in on the way home from a funeral. Needless to say we weren't in the best mood. That quickly changed once we entered. The staff and the owner were both super nice and accommodating!! Now, babeeee the food was sooo good!! We slopped that food up like we hadn't eaten in years (to go boxes and all)! The drinks were fire and the ambiance was lovely! This was our first time there but it definitely won't be our last! Go support this black-woman owned business yall!
