South Philly Cheese Steaks

My parents are regulars here and I picked up lunch for us yesterday on their recommendation. The ordering process by phone was easy but you have to pay in person (no biggie). The order was fresh and just finished when I walked in, and the food was excellent. I had a pepper steak sandwich- so good. I liked the fact that the meat was flavorful and not at all rough and that they didn't use yellow American cheese. My son had the chicken nugget kids meal. His nuggets were very good (I couldn't resist). Since he's started wanting his own meal, we've started ordering kids meals and a surprisingly large sample of restaurants serve some real trash food (read poor quality or badly prepared) food in their kids meals. Not South Philly though. They treat kids right!

These are by far my favorite cheesesteaks in Colorado! They blend just the right amount of cheese, steak and onions to not make any one ingredient too over bearing. Super delicious and I live coming back here again and again. Highly recommend!

Where is the Cheese. Supposed to be the standard. Discussed . And I tipped them 5.00 bucks . Fries reheated never again for me.

I love Philly cheese steaks, and was excited to try South Philly Cheese Steaks, but unfortunately I was left disappointed. The meat was dry and did not have much flavor, and the roll they served it on was pretty dry. I will give them points for the cheese fries which were very good, but overall the food lacked flavor. The service is counter service and the cashier was polite, the vibe is very Philly which was cool and they have the option of getting a beer with your food If you choose to. Prices are a bit steep for what you receive as well. TL:DR - cool vibe, a bit pricey, but lacking any flavor

Locally owned gem! The most delicious cheese steak in Denver, and I promise I've done some leg work on this one. Counter service, with indoor and patio seating. The menu goes beyond cheese steaks, offering hoagies, salads, and all sorts of appetizers and sides. A lot of great energy and food in this place, I hope you love it!

Tried the Green Chili Philly, at recommendation of cashier added cream cheese. Plus onion rings. You can smell the oil in the air here - good / bad, you decide for yourself given this is a cheesesteak place. Onion rings were very thick battered. Very "juicy" - flavor was okay, but I'll try fries nexSurprised by the relatively small size of the medium sandwich. Meat and everything were pretty finely chopped and mixed. Flavor was good. Note - really old review that I noticed was still sitting in Draft!I haven't had cheesesteak in Philly, so I may not be the best to judge - I've had better, but the sandwich was pretty good and I'll be back. I'll probably try a new type next time, but may order this one again. Side note - I was able to eat this in a car - it wasn't as messy as I was expecting.

We moved close to this restaurant about a year ago. It is a great cheesesteak. My wife is fromPhilly and said that is a real cheesesteak. PLUS the guys there are really nice. We've gotten to go at least 10 times and it is always consistent and good.

Let me start by saying that I'm from Philly! We moved into the neighborhood a year ago and have been several times. The cheesesteaks are authentic and delicious and the guys that work there are so nice! You have to try this place. I can't speak for anything but the cheesesteaks and tasty kakes, but I'm sure it's all great!

I just had one of the worst experiences of my life in a restaurant. I was picking up an order and had to go to the bathroom urgently. I politely asked if I could go to the bathroom and received a shoulder shrug from one staff member and a sarcastic yes from another. I thought he said yes so, normally, I go to the bathroom. To my surprise, he is screaming at me to get out of the bathroom. I went up and apologized because I thought I heard him say yes and he kept being rude telling me to go to the alley if I needed to go. As an example of what should be done, I was picking up an order from a Greek restaurant right after, I politely asked to go to the bathroom while I waited for the order and they said "Of course"I will never recommend this restaurant to anybody I know or on the internet. I will be continuously suggesting the other Philly restaurant rather than this one. Never in my life have I had to witness such terrible service and lack of professionalism. I hope you take a second look at your staff and look at the Google reviews because they are all saying the same thing. If not, you will lose customers due to their incredibly rude demeanor. For your information, this was on Friday, February 16, 2024, around 6:30 - 7 pm. Just so you know which staff members they were. I only want the best for your chain and the only way is to do something about your staff.
