Service - A+, everyone was warm and welcomingAmbiance - A, clean and family style seatingFood was soooo goodt, and that's good with a 't'!! We got a three meat plate with double burnt ends. The green beans were 10/10 seasoned to perfection, brisket was some of the best I've had in NC and really enjoyed the burnt ends. We will absolutely be back to continue to eat good and support this Veteran small business!!

Disappointment, ripped off are just words that come to mind when eating here. We live bbq and decided to try this place.It was the 2 of us, so we tried the 2 meat sampler... for what was being charged, we were expecting a good meal.. what we got was, a major let down.. 2 pieces of overcooked brisket and 8 burntends..The blueberry muffin, there were no blueberries in it but it looked like it.. tasted like a box mix.. The beans tasted straight out of a can. The meal was very uninspiring and for the price you pay, you leave feeling ripped off..

We needed a quick lunch in Wake Forest, NC and saw this BBQ restaurant on Yelp. They advertised Texas Style BBQ in the front window. Since my husband is from Texas and is very particular about his brisket, we entered with no expectations. I ordered a Brisket Cubang sandwich and collard greens. He had a brisket plate and mac 'n cheese. The Cubang sandwich was wonderful! Lots of brisket, onions, garlic Parmesan sauce and Swiss cheese, toasted in a panini press. The meat was tender and flavorful. Collards were flavored just right and tender. The brisket plate was perfect! Juicy, very tender, and smoky flavored. My Texan could not say enough good things about it! The mac & cheese was excellent. The food was served on a tray covered with butcher paper with plenty of napkins. This restaurant is definitely worth going out of your way to experience. I have to say a word about the staff, too. They are obviously proud of their food and wanted us to enjoy our meal. Friendly and helpful, and speedy. Top-notch employees! We shall return!

I've been wanting to stop in here and try this place for lunch but it's only open Wednesday through Saturday finally got in there for lunch ordered their pulled pork sandwich it was a very large portion and it tasted amazing they offer a lot of different sides that are made very uniquely the dining area is nice and clean and well kept Services very quick and friendly

Heard about this place via Instagram and decided to check it out. It's on Main Street in Wake Forest in a small shopping center. There's a walk up counter where you order your food. You can eat in or take out. The people are friendly and the food is good. It's a bit pricey, but as you can see the portions are ample. I didn't like the potato salad because I'm not a fan of chunky or dill but enjoyed everything else. The Mac and cheese is creamy and a tad sweet, but not off putting. There was a live saxophonist playing as well, which made things a bit busy/noisy, but I think perhaps that's a weekend thing. Regardless, If you're in the area and looking for some tasty Que/Smoked meat.. give them a try!

This business is located in a shopping plaza with shared parking. Several large tables are inside for dining in after you place your order at the counter. The staff was friendly and provided positive interactions and follow-up. Smiths offers a variety of food options such as brisket, ribs, greens, and smoothies. They offer daily specials and their menu can change daily or when items sell out for the day. I arrived approximately 30 mins after they opened and was disappointed to learn that the smoothie I wanted to purchase was already sold out for the day. For my meal I ordered a wing platter with Mac & cheese, baked beans and a blueberry muffin. The muffin was good and the mac was different. It was a little sweet but not terrible. The baked beans and wings were good.

Location is interesting but the staff was the best part! Walking in I felt like family and at an Aunt's house for a cookout. The food was good. I highly recommend the mac n cheese and the ribs. I will be back to try the catfish for sure!

Very very personable and lovely people. Everyone was so helpful to assist in anyway. The menu was straight forward and the do have specials and sides that may change. I enjoyed the experience.

We were at the "Dorothea Dix Park" for Falling Into Fall Fest and we saw the giant smokers and had to check it out. We were not disappointed by the quality of meat and the taste.The "Pork belly burnt ends" was so tender and sweet, crunchy on the outside and the inside was melt in your mouth.The Mac N Cheese is not for people on a diet.It was amazing !It's good to support local business, if I was living in Wake Forest I'd definitely eat there everyday.

Read carefully! Don't go to this restaurant unless you want to have your mind blown! From the time we stepped in the door to the time we wobbled our happy selves out, this experience was by far one of the best restaurant experiences we have ever enjoyed! It felt like home and the food was down right sensual! Writing about it now is making me crave it! We got the sampler plate with brisket...my eyes just watered...burnt ends, ribs, and glorious wings in golden sauce. The mac n cheese (yes, please) will make you want more! We also loved the baked beans. The cabbage was good, too, but the beans and mac were my favorite. The whole staff was friendly but Axel stole the show! Personality and friendliness was on 1,000! We don't live very close but EVERY TIME we are in the area, we vow to make it our business to get some food from this place! Bravo! Killed it! And they play good movies and music while you eat! You can't beat this place! I forgot to mention, we shared a banana puddin smoothie. Drooling. Please expand. 20/10
