Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q

Excellent service from Mr Leal and Richard at the Jacksonville NC location. This is what service used to be. Don't waste your time going to any other fast food place. Oh and by the way, The food was outstanding!!

Stopped here to get lunch in the drive thru. Lady who took my order was so nice and very easy to understand. I got what I ordered and it came out hot. This place gave me tons of hush puppies! Chicken, potato salad and coleslaw was all good. I had to save some for later, too much to eat at one time. I will stop here again.

Good lunch today! Stopped for a quick bite at one of my favorite regional restaurant chains - Smithfield's. Enjoyed some BBQ and some chicken, served hot, fresh and fast. I'd also note that no matter which location I visit as I travel through their service area - I also find they have some of the best, warm hearted folks and today was no exception.Restrooms, dining area and kitchen are always clean too.

This bbq is the real deal, so juicy and tender. While I was there, I saw people of all races come in to order and the staff was constantly on the go. Great bbq sandwich, added some baked beans and hushpuppies for sides. Wish I lived close enough to eat here often!

Food was tasty and served up quick, brought to our table in less than 5 minutes. Restaurant is clean, Staff is friendly and attentive, the cook checked to make sure everything was good and we didn't miss dessert. :-)

The food is excellent recommend. Just off interstate produce stand beside it to pick up fresh produce

We had AMAZING customer service at this restaurant from SKYLAR...ASHLEY...& JASON.Even though we were there during a very busy time, each one was kind..helpful and with smiles. Our barbecue meal was very good..but customer service was exceptional!!!! Skylar, Ashley and Jason are the reason we will be back! They deserve a raise!

I make terrific fried chicken. We come here when I'm lazy. Their Cole slaw is as good as mine- and a whole lot easier . And the chicken is tasty. They season the chicken- not just the coating. The people are better than the chicken. Nate really went the extra mile to see that our no big deal dinner for two was four star worthy. Fast food but yummy fast food. Bravo.

I stopped by to pick up a sandwich and two plates (a regular BBQ plate and a chicken plate with thigh and drum stick). When I arrived at my destination an hour and a quarter later I discovered that the person who packaged the order had not put my BBQ plate in and all I received was the sandwich and the chicken plate. I called them and left a message but as of now, I have nothing from them.Review edit:I was contacted by the owner of this SCNB and she made it right. This was the first time in 25 years of visiting this restaurant that we had any type of problem.

Very clean efficient friendly- the staff was walking around to refill our drinks- food very timely and fresh- fantastic coleslaw-picnic tables out back on lawn for dogs and kids to runaround- bathrooms very clean- thank you- and 10 EV chargers!! Win win- we'll stop here again.
