Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q

Stopped on the way home as we passed through Siler City. We hadn't been to a Smithfield's in a while since there aren't a lot close by. I got the pulled pork sandwich, with slaw. The meat was packed high on the sandwich! It was well seasoned and cooked. I struggled to finish it.My husband got the chicken tender snack, which came with three tenders and fries. The tenders were probably the best I have ever tasted! The seasoning was spot on, and they were very well cooked--sometimes tenders can dry out and these did not. The kids meal was a great value. The chicken tender was huge and the fries were piled high. (My daughter originally ordered a chicken leg but it would be a wait--so we switched gears). We ordered a side of hush puppies too! They were piping hot and so good. The tea is just about perfect. The service was great. They delivered the food to your table after counter service and also cake around for refills.

Stopped in for my first Smithfield's experience. We passed by and my husband asked if I'd ever been and when I said no, he whipped a Uturn and pulled in. My first thought was "this is a local small town bojangles". First and foremost these may be the best fries I've ever had. They were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. I went with the dark meat platter and my husband got the chicken tender snack tray.You can go through the drive through or go in and order. You order at the counter for take out or sit down. The menu isn't lengthy but I see that as they stick to what they know they're good at.

I try to stop Here when I travel between Charlotte and sanford This time Johnny waited on me real nice fellow who was helping not only customers but other staff. Just a real nice person. Kindness counts. Of course I got the usual. BOGO Brunswick Stew and a BBQ Plate all to go. Of course I Counry even start the car before digging into some Brunswick Stew with hush puppies. Of course I hit it with some tabasco sauce and I was in literally hog Heaven. Pardon the pun. Of course while waiting in line I am reminded about the very fun old movie posters My kind of place.

We love the pulled pork sandwich here. The hush puppies are great too. The sweet tea is quite tasty. The service at eg counter was fast. And the food was delivered with a smile.

My husband won't eat any other barbecue, but loves Smithfield's. He is from eastern NC and we currently live in TN. I recently took a trip to NC and he requested that I bring home a pound of barbecue and some Brunswick Stew. I drove through at this location and they went out of their way to make sure my food was packed nicely on my cooler for the trip home. Shana was so kind, and not only packed it carefully in a bag of ice inside of my cooler, but also told me about the BOGO on Brunswick Stew. It was perfectly chilled (with no leaking) when I arrived home, even with a long delay due to an accident on the Interstate. My husband loved the barbecue...excellent, moist, flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and it was nice chunks of pork as opposed to shreds and it had no gristle. Their great food and service made for a happy husband after my long drive.

Got the BBQ Plate with Brunswick Stew, good as usual for this chain. Met a group of geocachers there, and the space was good, plenty of room for us to mingle, chat, and eat.

Food was very delicious, the service was adequate and the ambience of the place was nostalgic and interesting. I had the barbecue sandwich with the slaw and some baked beans and it was very tasty. I would certainly patronize this restaurant again!

This location was off for me, I'm not sure what went wrong. This franchise has never been a "miss" for me until I ate here. The fried chicken and bbq didn't taste the way it used to. The customer service was average overall.

Love their Brunswick StewConsistent quality. BBQ is good and their tea is outstanding
