Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q

Great food. The barbeque sandwich with slaw is the best. There sweet tea is sweet, get it half sweet and half unsweetened. That has a great balance and brewed taste. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place!!!

We enjoy eating from Smithfield's and have eaten here quite a few times. We usually get the tailgate special and add on the Brunswick stew buy one get one for $1. It's been a mixture of good and not so good on customer service when we have ordered from this location. We always get our order to go so that we can eat at home as a family instead of having to go inside and eat there.

Average chain BBQ. Their fried chicken is good but prices a bit high. There is much better in Fuquay. 7/10

This was not the Smithfield's experience we are used to. The lady that took the order was nice but the lady at the window was downright rude, not responding when we said hello and when she forgot our drink and we reminded her she didn't say anything. She just gave us the wrong drink after we had mentioned it twice, when we ordered and when we reminded her. Lastly, the fries were not cooked enough. The BBQ sandwich was just fine but not great. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Service was poor. Gave part of my food to another customer then had me wait 20 minutes for a replacement. The tenders only takes 6 minutes to cook. Offered a banana pudding for the inconvenience.

Quick, convenient stop to get BBQ. I always opt for the Value Pack - a BBQ sandwich with coleslaw, hushpuppies instead of fries and a Sprite. My husband ordered a pint of brunswick stew (it's buy one, get one free). The service was friendly and the food was great here.

I ordered a shrimp plate and was shocked to see this portion size. The prices have increased but the portion is half what it used to be. This looks like a kids sized meal. I added stewed potatoes to make it more hearty, but this is ridiculous! I want to get my money's worth and this is a rip off!!

So disappointed...We haven't been able to afford buying chicken out since the prices became ridiculous. We were thrilled to receive some coupons for Smithfield's and decided we'd treat ourselves this evening.Maybe we got the tail end of some pieces that have been sitting under a heat lamp too long or the person cooking the chicken didn't pull the chicken when they were supposed to....but the 8 piece box we brought home was filled with 8 overcooked and tough pieces. If we weren't both feeling under the weather....I'd have brought the chicken back to discuss our dis-satisfaction with the store manager.The hush puppies were great....and the mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect.
