Sloan's Bar & Grill

My girlfriends and I were going to see a play at the Wheatridge Theater close by and picked this place to have brunch before hand. I like their seating. We got a large booth in the middle that was comfortable for all of us to be seated within sitting on each other. Our server was awesome. her name was Sarah and she was super sweet and helpful with suggested on food and cocktails. She was quick and always available if needed. They let you get lunch or breakfast which is awesome and worked well for our crew. I got the cheeseburger with fries and my burger was cooked perfectly and was dripping and messy, just the way I like it. They have a full bar with some fun cocktails. Love the espresso martini! It can be a little loud and seems a little more sports bar ish but other great place.

I used to go here all the time but I moved to the East side of town so it has been awhile. I realized tonight it is worth the drive. We had bookclub here tonight and they gave us the big semi-private table in the back which worked great for us. They have updated their menu and it's really good!! And above all else, our server Rory was amazing and took excellent care of us! Thanks Rory!

My girlfriend and I visited Sloan's to watch a football game and take advantage of a BOGO entree deal. Upon walking in, the first thought that popped in my mind was "wow, what a clean place!". Everything in there looked immaculate including the bathrooms which is something I definitely look out for when eating somewhere. The food and drinks were all amazing! I had the spicy reuben and wished it had a bit more spice to it but I enjoyed it overall. The fries were fresh and tasty too! We shared some oysters as well as we came in during happy hour and enjoyed them as well. My favorite was the nachos. I was super full from the reuben but had to power through because the nachos were so good. The cocktails were tasty and well-made!Donovan was our server and he definitely made our experience stand out. He was very personable and it felt like hanging out with a friend. He even stayed after his shift to watch the rest of the football game with us. Thank you, Donovan!

Wow this place was really a find for us! We had never been there but we will definitely be back. The service was excellent. The bar is really cool. Such a beautiful ambiance. But let me tell you the food really knocked it out of the park! I had the hot honey chicken Mac and it was AMAZING. The spice on it was perfect. My husband had the shrimp po boy and my daughter had chicken tenders. They both cleaned their plates. Very happy!

Another 5 star rating. I met a friend for a very somber and serious conversation, and somehow McKinsey still made the visit perfect. I finally ordered what I have been wondering about every time I go there...the JCB burger. It was fantastic and then some. Spacious bar, energetic music, very tight staff by visibility, and solid rating on the food. They have the Ratio Antidote if you like IPA. I ordered the side fries with their buffalo wing sauce and they were amazing. So, I will rave about the JCB for this visit, but I really haven't had anything that was below awesome here. Love the environment, love the staff, love the vibe. What is ironic is that my OTHER picture is the JCB...Benedict. So, apparently, just order the JCB whatever. Cool beer garden across the street when you are done. Definitely recommend, and see you there.

Holy moly everything at Sloan's was excellent. I chose Sloan's Bar and grill as they had a deal through the Denver Eat and Drink pass (I highly recommend it). My husband had the fish and chips and I had the steak frites. Both were great and the steak was seriously one of the best steaks I've ever had. Only catch is they have different events each night (trivia, kids eat free, etc), so check what's going on before you go.

Live music was terrific. Good food for a 10 yo, a little loud for him but he managed with his iPad. Good appetizers. Tots are a favorite of mine. Fast, friendly servers. I'll try again earlier in the week also.

Love this place. Always great food, service and bar atmosphere. Very cozy and there are some tvs to watch a game too

I came here with a group of 8 at lunchtime on a weekday. We were seated right away and had our drink orders taken within 5 minutes which was great. The menu has a nice variety, something to please everyone's tastes. The prices have significantly increased over the last year though; we were surprised to see a classic Rueben for $20. It took about 15 minutes from being seated to receive our drinks from the bar, and 10 minutes after that to place our order. After placing our order, the food took about a half hour which really isn't bad considering our group size. The fries were tasty. I liked my chicken sandwich but the batter was a little dark and inside pretty dry for my liking. A few others in my party expressed concern for the dark coloring of their fried food.Overall we were surprised at the price increases of nearly every item on their menu, but the food was pretty good and you can't beat no wait.

Adding to my previous review. Sloans must have changed the menu because the steak sliders are terrible now. I used to be able to eat 2 orders of these things. I'd crave their sliders. Whatever they are doing now just stop. They are way over cooked and have some weird ass seasoning in them. Not good at all
