Pretty standard fried seafood place, good selection of seafood and sides, a perfect way to spend a cheat meal. The various fried seafood we had was great, fried evenly and not over fried. The sides were also solid, I wasn't a huge fan of the hush puppies since they were on the tougher side, but in general I'm not a big fan of hush puppies so I'm biased on this. The chicken was really tough, which kind of shocked me considering how good everything else tasted. Really solid place and good service, my only takeaway would be to not get the chicken, everything else is good.

Where to even start?I was invited out to try some new menu items and these items did not disappoint! Hot honey chickenHot honey Mahi sammyShack towerGochujang crab cake sandwichGochujang po boyHaddock sandwich and basketBeignets Caramel Bourbon frittersEverything was delicious! The hot honey sandwich, get some of the house made ranch to top it with and it balances out the heat perfectly! The shack tower was a loaded seafood tower of fried deliciousness. Catfish, shrimp, oysters, hushpuppies, and so much more! A perfect and unique feat for a group of people! The gochujang crab cake sandwich and po boy were both absolutely incredible! All these new items I couldn't recommend enough!The restaurant is clean and well put together. Staff were friendly and kind. Definitely recommend hitting this place up!

After a trip to her bank, Mom wanted shrimp today and this is the only place close, so I decided to try it again. Tyler was very helpful and patient. They were not busy as it was after the lunch rush, so he entered our order and served us well and with a big smile. Mom got a fried shrimp basket that came with one side and a drink. She got coleslaw and said it was delicious. Tyler said they made it in house. I got grilled shrimp and potato salad. The shrimp was done just right, not over cooked and nicely seasoned. My potato salad was average...it is not made in house. The drinks are self serve and they have brewed tea so that was nice. Everything was clean and the decor is nautical. Nothing fancy, but looks like a seafood place. Mom says she has found her place for shrimp...she wants to go back. I will try either the fried oysters or fried scallops next time. Thanks Tyler for excellent service and being so kind to a 92 year old lady, even though she made a mess and was so embarrassed about it. We will be back.

Food wasn't bad not the best. My thing is if you want anything they charge you extra. Guy asked me if I wanted lettuce tomato on my fish sandwich I said sure. That's extra. Can I get this sauce that's extra. Those are ordinary things that every other place just gives you. So if you order you get the fish and bun then if you want anything it's extra.

I came here for lunch. Surprisingly it wasn't packed. Upon entry, I received a warm welcome. I placed my order at the self-ordering kiosk. The order process was easy without any issues. I ordered the shrimp & crab meat Po Boy with fried okra. The sandwich was delicious. The okra was pretty good. The menu is pretty straightforward, so finding what I wanted was easy. I prefer the option to hollow the inside of the bun. The thick bread wasn't exciting. Way too thick, but I solved this by removing some myself. Overall, a good experience and good food. Skrimp Shack is a Yes for me!

I have been trying to figure out where this business was located as it comes up as an apartment community, but it is actin the Lowes Foods shopping center next door to the apartments. Let me start by saying how clean this place is! Bright, clean and very cute. Love the table tops, especially the tables for larger groups. When you enter you have a choice of a self serve ordering kiosk or counter service. When you food is ready they just call our name for pickup.I had the whiting fish sandwich which was HUGE! I needed up taking part of the fish off and eating it on the side. Tartar sauce was in a packet so I could control the amount. I managed to eat all of it, but didn't have any sues (thank goodness!)Staff was very friendly and helpful. Be sure to go by this hidden gem and get your seafood fix!

Visited this location earlier this week and absolutely loved it. Arrived today, after a 30min drive from work, hoping to enjoy lunch but the doors were locked. Peeped inside to see the staff sitting down watching television. I called the landline to find out they had locked the doors due to the cook not being present. The lady stated she did not know what time the cook would be arriving. I am not really sure why they only have one person trained to drop fish and chips. I wasn't the only person disappointed by this confusion, there were about 6 other hungry patrons awaiting answers as to why the staff were inside but the doors locked. Not sure if I will be returning to this location anytime soon.

I will start off this review by saying that I probably did not order the right thing here, I ordered a po-boy which had fried shrimp and crab meat. It isn't actually what I ordered, I ordered the shrimp and fish po boy but they got my order wrong and I didn't say anything. It wasn't necessarily bad, but I just didn't think it was anything special. There was a lot of shrimp and for the price I guess I shouldn't complain, it just wasn't something that I would drive out of my way to eat again. I did however like the french fries, they were crispy and had good flavor. I looked at some of their other food menu items and to be honest I think I would have had better luck ordering something different. But there's always a next time!
