My boyfriend & I ordered the shrimp pasta with extra shrimp to go. The food was soooo hot, fresh, and GOOD when we got home. He went in to pick up the food. When he got back in the car he stated that it was real nice inside & requested that we go eat inside for date night. We will be returning!

This business has a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is spacious and also has a bar. We dined here for an event and had a private room that was separate from the main restaurant. The room had multiple tables and access to a bathroom away from the main bathroom. We were given complimentary hush puppies with butter prior to our food arriving. The honey chipotle shrimp were served on a bed of lettuce and the hush puppies were really good. I wasn't really a fan of the crab dip and I wouldn't get it again. Our server was very attentive and helpful. He did not well making sure that our large party got everything that they wanted.

Delicious meal, great service and wonderful private dining room for our small party. First came the hushpuppies and they were hot and smelled so good. It was hard to eat just one or two or three. The salad came out and it was outstanding. It had mixed greens with blue cheese, candied nuts with a balsamic dressing. I would return just for the salad. Then I had the scallops. They were cooked great and had a wonderful flavor. The fries were really good too and gave a crunch to the main. We shared desserts but my key lime pie was delicious and about all I could handle after the two previous courses. What a wonderful experience having a private room to have our clubs party. We will definitely return. Thanks to Amy and her staff for a wonderful event.

I used to come here often for oysters and martinis. Haven't been since prior to the pandemic. My mom wanted some crab legs for her birthday so we brought her here. I was really disappointed with the food. The crab legs were good. The Blue Point oysters tasted good, but whoever shucked them did a horrible job as every one of the two dozen had bits that we had to spit out or fish out of our mouths. We also ordered the trout which was covered in this honey sauce that was awful and the asparagus was overcooked. The seafood pasta that was ordered was also overcooked with mushy pasta and mushy seafood. The mussels that were in it just fell apart rather than stay firm. The peel and eat shrimp had parts that were almost creamy when you were peeling it. It just seemed old and not very fresh. The drinks were okay. Nothing I would write home about. For the six of us, the tab was $450 after tip. My mom was happy with her crab legs which was the goal. Otherwise, no one else was really impressed with any other dish ordered. Service was perfectly fine. Friendly and attentive. I think I'll stick to 42nd St.

I was on this side of town with friends and decided to dine in. Lots of parking since the restaurant is in a plaza but it can get full fast, making it a possibility to walk a little (in case of handicaps). We were seated right away and the service was great from start to finish. It isn't a large restaurant but a decent enough size so that the place isn't overwhelmingly loud or eerily quiet. They give you little hush puppies to munch on which are very good! I'm not a hush puppy person but I would eat this all day. My party ordered calamari, Caesar salad, shrimp po boy, crab dip, and chargrilled oysters. Everything was very tasty, nothing super notable for me excepted the oysters! They make me want to go back very soon for the raw oysters!! Price is in line with this part of town for me, so I think it was reasonable. All in all, I would recommend to others and will be back!

We went here for my birthday dinner this week. I really want to love this place. And some of it I do. Some not so much. They've renovated since the last time I went. I didn't see an oyster bar anymore. It is really dark. We got the baked oyster sampler. It was delicious. The oysters are probably the best thing on the menu. The stuffed mahi is okay. I don't like the crab stuffing. Overpowered with peppers. I like the citrus butter. It needed a bit more of it though. My husband got the seafood pasta. It was pretty bland. He added some citrus butter, old bay and salt and pepper. He said it was still just okay. Peel and eat shrimp were good. Kids meals are decent sized. Bloody Mary has a very strong horseradish flavor. It's not good. I can't remember the name of this martini but it was so good. Hush puppies are great too! It's a pretty average place. Not the best. Not my favorite but not terrible. I'd probably just stick with oysters here.

Decided to give this place a try for dinner recently. I had arrived just a few minutes after my husband was seated. I was greeted by three females at the host stand and advised that I was meeting my husband, who would've just walked in. All three of them said that they did not have a single male waiting that just arrived, but advised that I could walk around the restaurant to see if he was there. He was, and indicated that one of the three was the one who had sat him less than five minutes ago. He was also seated within eye sight of the hostess stand. It was weird. We were promptly greeted by our server, Georgeanna who was helpful with the menu. We were wanting to get steak although we recognize this is not a steakhouse. We did go with her recommendation for the ribeye. We also had calamari and two iced teas. Overall the server was very friendly and attentive. She also checked on us an appropriate amount throughout our meal. The Ribeye was honestly just OK, definitely not something we will go back to Shuckers to order and definitely not worth the price. It was dry and bland. The calamari was great and so were the sides that we ordered with our main meal.We additionally, ordered two different desserts, the key lime pie and the banana pudding- to go . These were the best part of the meal! Both were phenomenal. If I were ever to return to Shuckers, it would probably be solely for the desert or possibly to try something else on the menu. The restaurant, including the bathroom, was clean and appear well-maintained.
