My bf Mom told him about this place. Always wanted to try it. Glad he did, it was amazingly good. Going back for sure!! I have so many different plates I need to try.

Been coming here since I was a kid. The food here is delicious and affordable. My favorite is the fish sandwich. Burgers are good to. Classic diner style. They changed management recently but it's just as good!

The food is good , but they are not selling real catfish !!! They are selling fried swai or cod ! They need to do better with the breading for the fish ! Especially if you calling it fried CATFISH... you don't fry catfish in bread crumbs!!!

I am shocked no one has reviewed this place yet!This place has been around for over 22 years and I have been eating here at least 17 years. This is truly a hidden gem hole in the wall. The Shrimp Galley is tiny and most people get their orders to go. Everything is cooked as it is ordered, no food sitting around here. Burgers, fried seafood, fountain drinks and the friendliest customer service. The same lady has worked the register forever...I can't even remember a time when she has not been there. She has gotten to know all the customers and always has a great attitude and smile.Surprisingly the prices manage to be affordable and the quality is great. The portions are big....each seafood order comes with toast (the old fashion kind with butter and grilled), salad and fries. I like that the seafood is fried with flour- not cornmeal. They serve the best cocktail sauce....not sure why or what makes it different but it is GOOD. I paid $13.99 total for shrimp basket & oyster & shrimp basket. Don't let the cheap prices fool you- the food makes my taste buds dance!I no longer live in the area but I do make it a point to stop by when I am around. Plenty of parking...support this local small business.

I have been coming to Shrimp Galley as a kid. The good is super good and cheap. Burger and onion rings are damn good.

So I eat at Shrimp Galley at least once a month and the food is good at best. Today's visit was less than impressive, not because of the food, it's because of the customer service. Customer service is the most important part of the service industry.My man called this place and placed an order for a burger. The lady said it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, he went to go get the order, and the lady said it wasn't ready yet. Give them 15 more minutes. So while he waited, 2 ladies went in and got their food almost immediately. Then another person went in and got his food almost immediately as well.So my man went back in and asked the lady how much longer on the burger. She told him she hadn't gotten started on his order. Mind you, he ordered the burger basket on the phone 40 to 45 minutes prior. He was getting upset and she asked "Do you want the food or not?" with an attitude.He told her not anymore, and he ended up leaving and going to McDonald's instead. I'm very disappointed with the customer service. The food is good but that attitude of that lady need to change immediately. Will not return.

This is a real hole in the wall place that serves great food. When I saw great I'm not talking about the fancy upscale type of food. I'm talking about the let me go fry some seafood in the kitchen home comfort type food. The prices are not too bad for a basket which includes fries and onions rings if you opt out of the salad. drinks are separate. If you craving fried seafood check this place out. It may not look up to par but the food is.
