Really! Worst Ja Jang Myun ever had. Wordless. Please save yourself some time go somewhere else.

The food is great. I love love the Sinrice noodles. It's delish! It located inside the grocery store.

We ate the restaurant out near hobby airport and glad to know they are now in hmart food court.I find it convenient I order for takeout and also get my grocery shopping all done in one place.We order: jjamppong (spicy pork seafood veggie noodle soup) (I like their version because it's simple with pork shrimp & veggies. The soup is a little busy for me already so I don't really for the extra seafood like mussels, calamari) **if you want the non spicy version order Woo Dong (I order that for my kids) ***Tangsuyuk (Korean Chinese sweet and sour pork) Jajangmyeon (korean Chinese black Bean noodle) If you watch lots of k drama they usually eat Jajangmyeon with tangsuyuk.I can never finish a serving, usually I can split it in 2 meals. The tangsuyuk I just reheat in air fryer for some crisp. You can either dip in sauce or pour over crispy meat.

Small Chinese spot located inside of H-Mart's food court. Fried dumplings: 3/5 they weren't crispy and the filling was quite bland. Jajangmyeon: 5/5 this dish is a must try! I've had it several times now and it's always consistently good. The noodles have the perfect chewy texture, and you get a lot of black bean sauce. (Pro tip if you have sauce leftover, take it home and mix it with rice for Jajang-bap). General Tso Chicken: 5/5 crispy chicken bites with a sweet and tangy sauce all over. What more could you ask for? This dish is also a must try!

Haven't been to H-mart on Blalock for almost a year. Decided to stop by for some spicy Korean seafood noodles soup. I always ordered the jjamppong and the place was called daddy daughter. Guess it was closed and I saw the name of the restaurant has changed but the dish was still on the menu. So I figured it's just a name change as the cashier was speaking Korean fluently. I got my soup in around 6 mins.First sip to the broth was meh, then there wasn't any mussels, squid, etc, but lots of shredded pork and 6 small shrimps. I didn't like the soup nor the ingredients. However it was good having a hot bowl of soup in the cold 40's. I won't return again as the management had probably changed.

HOUSTON, TX 77055 / KOREAN-CHINESE / MULTIPLE VISITS / LUNCH+This restaurant is pretty consistent with the execution of their Korean-Chinese dishes.+Cashier was super nice.-The noodles could be better. They're definitely pre-packaged noodles.-The jjampong (spicy) noodle soup is served with shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, wood ear mushrooms, 61-70 count shrimp, and sliced pork. I didn't see any Asian cabbage, mussels, octopus, and any other ingredients you may see in jjampongs.The jjajangmyeon is okay. It's a decent pick amongst the other food stalls within the Super H Mart cafeteria.

I've been trying to find jajjang dishes as good as i had in Seoul and it seemed like every place in Houston would make it super plain and just not good. But this place...wow tasted just like the dishes i had back in Korea it was very flavorful and overall very good. The service was quick and easy. It was so hard trying not to order the whole menu when everything looked so tasty! I can't wait to go back and order more.

Most restaurants serve their jajangmyun on the sweeter side, bleh--but this one thankfully makes it the original way. Their original location is near Hobby airport & still in business.

It was tasty. Authentic well made. Not too greasy. Price is ok. Cashier was nice. HMart is nice.
