Prices are fair and the location has ample seating because it's in the bottom of a business lobby. If you're looking for a "coffee shop vibe" then you wont find it here. The coffee is nothing special and the service is cordial but nothing above and beyond. They were out of Bagels (what?!) and their breakfast burrito is fairly no frills. It's small, fits in the palm of your hand, and served luke warm. The tortilla was a bit soggy from sitting around for a while. The avocado toast is good so I recommend that for a small bite. Overall, Serendipity is a cute spot but it's not going to become my "go-to" when I'm in the area.

I didn't intentionally find this coffee shop; I literally stumbled into it one day. As in, I stumbled into their sign as I was walking by and discovered it tucked away just inside the entrance of the Alliance Center, close by the Union Station. It turned out to be a great find! This is one of the very few places downtown that I know of that serves Pablo's Coffee, which is what piqued my interest since I am a big fan of their light roast. The menu items are standard for most coffee shops: au lait, cappuccino, the works. I chose the au lait in the light roast with extra foam. Creamy and light without any bitterness, which is exactly my version of a great cup of joe. You know they definitely brew their coffee well here when you don't need to add any sugar for it to taste good. They also have some tasty pastries that go well with their drinks; I chose the pineapple coconut bread that was the perfect touch of sweetness to my unsweetened coffee. The people are nice and are accommodating to your preferences, which was very welcoming as a first time customer! I'll be coming back, intentionally this time, in the future.

Really great staff! However, I think the pictures are way outdated. I walked into the lobby of a co working space and I expected a cute little cafe, what I got was a generic white walled spot with no real vibe. The pictures led me to believe this was going to have a better vibe and ambiance. Staff was great and the tea was good. However, the plastic wrapped pastries and chaffing dish threw me. Not terribly impressed by the ambiance. Great for a quick meeting, not so much to hangout.

Located in deep Lodo and fairly hidden inside of an office building. Very cozy yet well decorated and hip. I recommend frozen mocha. This place is good for a mid-day grab n go or just sit there to check your emails. I love it.

I'm a huge fan of Serendipity Coffee Bar. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have developed an appreciation for different roasts of coffee. The team is always willing to figure out what will work for you. I'm gluten free, and they usually have at least one gf pastry, and they carry gf bread for sandwiches and Avacado Toast (try it with hummus and pesto!). There's a lunch rush and things slow down for food service, but the coffee is great. Check them out next time you're looking for a bite! (Also, if you bring your own coffee mug, there's a discount!)

This lovely cafe is in my work building, but being right downtown I still have lots of options and choose this one! Wifi, cheap and delicious fresh sandwiches, amazing pasteries, lots of seating.
