Secreto Southern Kitchen & Bar is a dining experience celebrating reimagined southern cuisine, focusing on family-favorite recipes and farm-fresh ingredients. There are locations in Brookhaven & Alpharetta.Secreto is warm & inviting, w/ dark-leather furniture & reclaimed wood paneling. There is a small patio & a room for small events. The staff are efficient, but always friendly & helpful. We Ordered:Red Chille Glazed " Bang Bang" ShrimpCrispy Brussels Sprouts Deviled EggssCorn Bread Southern Fried Chicken Secreto Wagyu Burger Norwegian Salmon Seared Scallops Smoked Bacon jalapeño white cheddar macOld Fashioned Storm On Mars Southern Passion We have also enjoyed the Charleston She-Crab Soup.In Atlanta, there are many new-South cuisine restaurants. Secreto is one of our favorites & a go-to for celebrations. My husband only eats chicken or duck, which is often the after-thought menu item. The Southern Fried Chicken is one of the best chicken dishes we have experienced. Also, order the cornbread - you'll thank me later. The crew always orders the "Bang Bang" Shrimp, which is so tangy and flavorful. Even my husband gobbles up the cucumber & tomato salad part every time. Their cocktails are equally memorable. My favorite cocktail is the Storm on Mars, as the rye, bourbon & port wine trio is dynamic. One of my friends is equally passionate about the Southern Passion. There is not a bad bite or drink here, only preferences.

we were looking online for a place to try and a lot of reviews had recommended this place so we decided to check it out.its deemed as a Southern Kitchen and restaurant, but as someone from the South I missed the southern influences.we ordered the cornbread, the bang bang shrimp and the pecan and pear salad. the cornbread was supposed to come out first but everything came all at once. the cornbread tasted like it came from a mix, which is fine, but no additional seasonings nor spices were added. the pecan salad was average and the bang bang shrimp was better at the original location (if you know you know)lackluster food at mid prices resulted in a missed opportunity. only positive was Baran who was a great server

I've had the good fortune to come here twice. First with some friends, second time with a large alumni gathering. Both times were excellent experiences. The food was prepared to perfection. And the service was provided with attention to detail.Parking is easy, and so is the menu, which is a celebration of Southern flavors with a modern twist. The she-crab soup will make you spank your date. My date spanked me over the crispy Brussels sprouts. I spanked myself over how good the shimp and grits were--a revelation, with plump, perfectly cooked shrimp nestled in a bed of creamy, cheesy grits that were packed with flavor. The dish was topped with a savory gravy that tied everything together beautifully.Service was impeccable throughout our meal, with our server being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, making it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.Good stuff. I'll happily go back. Holler if you want some company.

This is a solid five star review for delicious food, great service, and beautiful ambience.I heard about this restaurant from a friend. She said I must go, so I did. I loved the way I felt when I entered...relaxed, cozy and happy. Very pretty aesthetics. The service was good. Always nearby to help but not overwhelming. The food! Some of the best food I've had in a while. For the appetizer, I got the Pan de Queso / Cheese Bread...PERFECTION! Get this! For the main course, I ordered the Partilla Mixta/Mixed Grill (1Pound)...so delicious! This place is great!

I love trying new places to eat! If you don't, this is one of those places that will restore your faith in trying new things. It's got romantic lighting but also good for kids to dine. It isn't too big - service wait time was extremely low for food and with a reservation, we were seated immediately.Appetizers came out within minutes and were divine!'A unique flair to a common dish' is how I would describe the menu items.Shrimp and grits along with the bang bang shrimp were my favs! I'm also still thinking about the moist sweet cornbread.I really enjoyed the mock tail too.You won't be disappointed- just give it a try.

So I came for food but ended up only staying for drinks. But it was a good experience. The bar was huge and had plenty of help and everybody was really nice. I got a couple of drinks. The La Cultura is smokey and a bit of citrus If you are into that. Now when I say smoke I mean a lot of mezcal. The Oaxaca Old Fashioned less smoke but more sweet because of the agave So it has less smoke than the previous but more of the sweet if you're into that as well. A typical old-fashioned will have sugar or some type of sugar content in it so that's not two out of pocket.I thoroughly enjoyed this place and I would definitely go back especially because it's so close to me in my neighborhood! Everybody was super friendly and I would definitely go for more.

We were here for lunch and the stars aligned for a perfect meal. There was a nice breeze outside where we sat next to the fountain. Colby our server was very nice, funny and attentive. He gave us good recommendations. I had bang bang shrimp and crispy Brussels sprouts. My husband had the Secreto wagyu burger, fries and a Turkish beer which he really liked

OMG! Get the chicken sandwich! Get it! Don't hesitate! It was so good that even the shoestring fries were delicious! Hubbs had the shrimp and grits and it was more saucy than he would have liked- but don't worry, I finished it! Everything was so good!

I went here for brunch after church one early Sunday afternoon and it was not only a pleasant experience, but excellent choice. For starters I went by myself and sat at the bar, and was greeted by one of the bartenders (I'm making this review like 2 weeks after I went, so I unfortunately don't remember his name). This environment in there was very comforting and certainly would be a great place for date night. I asked the bartender who greeted me for full-on recommendations and I was not disappointed whatsoever. The cocktail, Casper was so refreshing especially with the mint, and I had never had Jameson before. I enjoyed that drink a lot. The she crab soup and really good, and so was the French toast. The toast had slightly crispy edges with a fluffy center that was so buttery and beautifully made. Not only could you have put some of the soup on the toast, or dipped it, but the pairing was incredible. Honestly, while I'm thinking I'd want to try something different next time, it would be hard to not go there and get the same thing as before.

Made reservations for Sunday brunch online. Super easy to do and many reservations available which was quite surprising. We were seated promptly and the wait staff was super attentive and nice. All of the items we ordered off the menu were the bomb. The crispy Brussel sprouts were to die for! Also had the bang bang shrimp for apps and all I can say is yummmm! I also had the chicken and waffles as my entree and the chicken was sooooo good. And I'm not even a fan of breast with waffles, but I'll eat that chicken with absolutely anything. All in all we enjoyed our time there. There was no rush to leave and the prices were also very reasonable. Will def go back! I meant to take pics but for whatever reason when the food comes I just go straight in for the kill, ha! Sorry!
