Second Seafood Market

Went here for the first time since pre Covid. Disgusting! Wings were super small, and fried rice was bland with barely any onions, bean sprouts, etc. Just bland fried rice. I will not be returning.

Always hot, fresh and delicious food. Service depends on who's there when you pick up your order. Mostly friendly staff but once in a while you will get the rude dismissive lady. I always order to go, make sure you call in your order or you will be waiting a long while. Which is cool because that's why your food is always hot and fresh. I think you can eat there now, the dining room was closed for a long time following Pandemic. I like the fried catfish, my son prefers the chicken strips and my husband likes the shrimp.I always get rice and they order fries.

I only wish they were closer to me so I could get their take-out more often. Of course, if you're familiar with this area you know there is a certain "charm" to this hood but as far as Second Seafood Market is concerned, they offer top notch take-out seafood for a very good price. I had the fried Tilapia and rice. If they were in any other part of town, they could easily charge double what they charge and it'd still be fair. If you're in the Discount Tire next door and hungry and thinking about eating here, keep in mind that they don't have dine-in but the food will taste just as good if you sit on the curb and eat it while you watch them work on your tires. Please don't eat seafood inside the Discount Tire...that's not cool.

The best chicken strips hands down now that's saidI would call in my order because this place gets packed and I don't like to wait my order these days is catfish with chicken strips extra honey mustard and strip fried rice trust me you won't be disappointed probably enough food to split with another person.

Went to 2nd Seafood a couple weeks ago and omg the food is still good like I remember. Everything was hot and fresh. I ordered on the Yelp app and went and picked it up with no issues. My go to fish is Red Snapper and it was fresh and delicious. The spring rolls were ok but they were crispy and fresh. My son enjoyed the Red Snapper Sandwich it had fresh tomatoes and lettuce. Now to the shrimp they were a nice size and we're good as well. I love the fact they put the beansprouts in the fried rice. To me fried rice is not complete without them. Move over Americanized fried rice lol. I will definitely come back again when I have the urge for some fish readily available. Don't knock it til you try it.

Lady behind the counter is very rude. She immediately changed languages when I stepped away from the counter. I know she was talking about me. Who cares, I won't be coming back. Food is ok....kinda expensive for the quality.

Ok so I'm going to give an honest review about second seafood. This is one of the hole in wall gems that you find and lowkey gatekeep from people so they don't ever become too busy lol.. I typically order the chicken tenders with fried rice. The portions are sizable and are guaranteed to satisfy you. Now is it the prettiest place in the world? Absolutely not... this is a hood classic spot just like a Timmy chans and is not pretty on the outside but sure as hell will get the job done... now I will say I have only gotten their tenders before but if they're any indication as to what everything else taste like then I'm sure most items are good

It is so good I keep ordering ever Friday it was so good the fries was good and the chicken strips was cooked right and it was not expensive
