Sandpiper Seafood

We use the Warsaw exit as a half way meeting spot and often grab a bite at one of the many fast food restaurants there. Did a search for seafood near me and Sandpiper popped up. Never heard of it, but I decided to go for it. Arrived a few minutes before opening at 11am. Inside and outside of restaurant was clean and the lighting was nice. Sweet tea was amazing. Hushpuppies were heavenly. I got the seafood platter with everything. And everything was fantastic! The fish, shrimp, scallops, oysters and deviled crab appeared to be cooked separately because everything had its own distinct color, crispness and flavor. Can't stand it and and I can tell when they cook everything in the same grease. Slaw was fresh and not too sweet or watery. Every thing was just delicious, cooked to perfection!!! Oh! And the service was great too! Sad that it is 50 miles away, but would definitely drive it next time I get a taste for some good ol' fashioned fried seafood!! Go check it out and see for yourself:)

Walked in an seated.table was dirty.waitress moved us.Ambiance....cute decor.Service.. waitress Betty Joe is very nice.Food.... Salad , 1 cucumber,1 piece of onion,1 piece of tomato,lots of cheese. Very good..presentation bad.Seadfood should be served over rice pilaf.

I was trying to find good BBQ in the middle of a town I didn't know. Ended up calling in an order to this seafood spot. Expectations were not high, but the locals steered me here. The slaw was amazing. The BBQ packed so tight into it's container it was crazy!! The sauce!!!!! The only thing bad about it the hush puppies were cold. Next time it's the BBQ and slaw!!!! Oh yeah!

We come here when we're craving fried oysters and shrimp. They're consistent, fast, and very friendly!

2 is being nice. It only got that for the service. When you have a seafood restaurant you should offer broiled or grilled options . All fried crap. I asked for vegetables the waitress said I could have extra cold slaw really? Sad thing is the slaw was the best thing I ate. She bragged about the oyster stew it was tasteless and bland. I got the seafood platter the fish was wretched whiting instead of the trout I asked for. Not good at all not good.

Best fresh seafood and fried chicken in the area for very reasonable prices!!

Food was very good and the service is A-1.They took our orders and food was on the table within minutes and was hot. The ambiance by the fireplace was warm & cozy!

First time giving this place a try was pretty descent would recommend to give it at least a try and to see if you like it yourself.

We got lunch take out and the medium flounder and shrimp only had 1 piece of flounder and a handful of shrimp. There was more flounder on the small plate. Neither flounder tasted very fresh, like it has been cooked the night before. Surprised at this because Usually the food is pretty good. The $28 we paid for 2 plates was way over priced for what we got.

Stopped this afternoon around 2:15. I ordered shrimp and oysters and my friend ordered the flounder and fries. Flounder was dry ($15) and Frieda had been heated back in the fryer. My shrimp were plentiful but overcooked and brown. Oysters were ok. Very disappointed. I'm used to the Sandpiper in Fayetteville and their food is always great. They have a buffet with many items and it is always great. Don't waste your time and money. Meal was almost $40.
