Sandpiper Buffet

Although the buffet wasn't open but the drive-thru was and the food was delicious at a great value.

Lose points for not being able to eat in. The last delivery I got the items were not that great. Mac and cheese had greens in it and I didn't order greens. The baked beans were all over everything. If you're going to do pick up only it should be. Packaged better. My was just messy

They only have takeout service now. I really miss this restaurant. The food is not the same. I was told that the elderly couple that used to own and operate it have died a few years ago and the adult children are operating it now.

Take out only, but so delicious if we lived in the area I would stop here frequently!

To Go Only. Wasted a drive here drove 2 hours because it says buffet. What a lousy waste of time. Smells Ok but do not want to eat in car.

Got shrimp last night. Started smelling bad on the way home and did not taste good. Tasted like old frying oil. I used to love their seafood when the buffet was open.

I missed the very long lines to get in because you knew food was going to hit the spot . The reason you drove over a hour or so to get there . The Fayettevillie Sandpiper used to be legendary. Now a days it appears to be drive through only ! Perhaps one day the good ole pre Covid days will return ‍

We always looked forward to going every year on our way to Myrtle Beach. Best buffet food, so many choices of southern cuisine. Loved it. Now it's a drive-through like Wendy's except with terrible dried food. Guess this is our last time here. Shame

Food was ok for the price. Had the Dressing and Turkey with yams, added Mac and green beans. My sister had the "delicious fried pork chop sandwich came with fries and tea. The service was straight forward and made the atmosphere easy to order. All orders are to go and the line is wrapped around the building. Be prepared to wait for a little bit. We were pulled over for about 10 minutes.

Not sure where to start we ordered barbecue meal and a large shrimp platter Two containers of banana pudding $82.00The Banana Pudding was horrible! So dry cookies tasted stale bananas where hard as a rock the barbecue is the same it has always been as well as shrimp that the only reason I gave 2 star. Our order was missing items of course we did not check the order at the drive-through until we got home. I did have sticker shock. $82 was with $10 tip I will not be back ! I wouldn't have give a tip if I would've know the issues. Not the Sandpiper I remember!
