Food: 3Decor: 3Service: 4Came here for a quick dinner before a doctor's appointment. Walked in with plenty of seating since it was mostly empty. Overall, was okay and might return although I prefer a few other options in the area (Vesta, Zareen's).Chicken Shawerma Plate Chicken breast. Served with rice, hummus, and salad.$19.00~3/5. Huge portion and pretty tasty. Everything was cooked pretty nicely and seasoned well. Came with some dip sides and pita bread too.Service was good. They were very accommodating with my injury.

Generous portions and good food. Came here for a weekend takeout lunch and ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, lamb kofta wrap and a side of garlic fries. The menu may seem on the pricier side but when we got the food we understood why, the wraps were huge and fries were overflowing from the box. If you're not a big eater I think you could actually share a wrap with a side between two people.Food came out promptly and ingredients tasted like they were high quality. Each wrap came with a side of toom and hot sauce. My chicken shawarma wrap was different than I was expecting in that the chicken was covered in sauce. Might not be everyone's preference for those that prefer the taste of grilled meat but I enjoyed it. Fries were well seasoned and very crispy. Would come back again.

We came here once a few months ago and it was amazing. The fries were crispy with a lot of seasoning, the utensils were handed to us in a fabric sheath, and the chicken was tasty. And our server was extremely kind and sweet. I promised to come back here once i had the chance because of the fantastic service and flavorful food. This time around we were served old fries and chicken that tasted like it could've been whipped up at home. I usually wouldn't use language like this, but it shattered my expectations as I traveled 40 minutes to get here after a few months.I waited for the server to come and check on us, but no one came to ask about the food. After 20 minutes, I got up to express my concern and told them about my previous experience. I asked them whether they changed management or the chef and they said it's been the same for two years. I expressed how things were different and the owner said it's because i was probably not feeling happy like I did the other day I came and handed me my bill. The server tried to be nice but the chef was being rude even though I was being respectful. I wished i could continue liking this place as the food and service used to be stellar but after seeing the bad treatment of customers and low food quality which doesn't match the price point, I won't be coming back. Quality service and food can save a restaurant even from the toughest of times. I now understand why the place was empty when I walked in this time.

This is a family owned Middle East in restaurant in the heart of Redwood City. Everyone you find inside all the family. This place has an amazing hospitality and people are super nice. They make sure you understand what you are trying to get and try their best to make it best experience for you the prices are super friendly, and if the weekend is gonna be a line, but if you go to the weekdays this place does have good seating availability. There is a problem with the parking spots, so make sure you park somewhere on the road and then come visit this place .Inside this restaurant, it's very friendly and regional ambience. You'll feel like you're sitting in a restaurant somewhere and Middle Eastern having food. On time within 10 to 12 minutes everything tasted amazing especially the kebabs and the shawarma was best that you should not miss . Duniya was amazing host Mimi

I can honestly say this was not a pleasant experience. Let's start off with the service. We were sitting near the kitchen and to hear the cook ans the waitress fight and argue over orders was unpleasant. Apparently he cooked the wrong dish. The lentil soup was awful. Super salty and watery. What a waste of $8!My meat plate was dry with dry meat and dry rice and just a horrible bitter lemon salad. Just plain horrible. There's nothing like lukewarm water with no ice on a hot day. I tried to get their yogurt drink but it was sold out.My coworkers meal was equally awful. The cauliflower was soggy, and her other order was just as bad. We had to get out own napkins, beg for more lukewarm water, and the food was so bad we didn't even get a box for the leftovers.

So good! We came here last minute for dinner and they happily sat us. The staff here is very friendly and kind and they brought our food out quickly. For mezzes we ordered the halloumi cheese and the falafel which were both excellent. The halloumi was soft and moist and the falafel was crispy and fresh. We ordered the combo plate to share which came with chicken, beef, lamb and salad, rice and hummus. We ended up having leftovers but overall really fresh and delicious food!

Through Yelp, my husband and I found Zadna and decided to meet our friends there for dinner. It was a first time for all of us.We ordered the following:Falafel with humus A fried cheese appetizerDifferent dinner plates (I ordered a chicken shawarma with rice and salad; others ordered chicken kabobs, beef kabobs, and the fish Branzino dish).I really liked my dish and was able to save some for a lite snack today. Everyone else finished their dishes and loved them. (We shared samples for each of us to try ,too). The service was nice. The ambiance was quaint and comfy. Our dinner reservation was at 6:15 pm and we were not rushed out. In fact we were there when they closed at 9 pm. I look forward to going there again and trying other dishes on their menu!

If I could give this Redwood City gem a 6 Star rating or better yet 7 Star I would. First of all the ambiance is wonderful and down to earth, yet elegant and very much a home type of feeling. The staff is wonderful and welcoming, as are the owners, who actually had a restaurant business in Burlingame prior to this years ago. My adopted niece as I call her treated me to a wonderful Sunday lunch, it was great great great. We started off with Hummus and also some garlic fries. The hummus was also with warm pita bread and then we also had a wonderful spicy chili sauce as well as a yogurt/ sour cream garlic dip, awesome!! The garlic fries were wonderful too. While we were waiting for our entrees to arrive we sipped on some wonderful Moroccan Mint tea. The aroma of the tea and the lingering smell of spices in the air transported you to the streets of Morocco or somewhere in the Middle East. Onward came our entrees, which we both decided for the combination plates. This wonderful middle eastern food and service will have you come in and ask for more..more..more. :-) I am hooked!!When we were all done, we ended our meal with more of the mint tea and then also had room for Baklava. Very different than the Greek Baklava. This baklava was non sticky and not way too sweet with the other Greek Baklava. This was much more smooth, not as sweet and topped with pistachio nuts. Was awesome. So if you are in Redwood City, pull off El Camino Real and right there on Broadway is this wonderful gem. Never forget the name.. Zadna Grill, where the Middle East meets Redwood City. Enjoy!!

Run, don't walk, to Zadna Grill. The place is something special.First, I'll name - I'd seen this place pop up on Yelp before and overlooked it, confusing the name with the similar sounding Zadna Bowl - a Chipotle-like pan-Mediterranean fast casual spot that's just okay. Zadna Grill, on the other hand, is a sit-down restaurant specializing specifically in Lebanese cuisine. Their menu has a broad variety of items that extend beyond "standard" mediterranean restaurant fare. I was in the mood for something light, flavorful, and satisfying, and boy did Zadna Grill deliver. I ordered: Lentil soup - tasty, could have used a pinch extra of salt, but a squeeze of the lemon that came with the bowl was the perfect additionRokka salad, with an add-on of grilled prawns - these prawns were possibly the tastiest shrimp I've had anywhere, perfectly seasoned with flavorful spices and cooked until succulent (and not overdone) -the hot sauce and garlic sauce offered with the shrimp were also fantastic-the rokka salad was simple and flavorful, tossed with brightly flavored sumac, red onions, and lemon, exactly what I was feeling like The woman next to me was raving about pumpkin kibbeh, which I had also considered ordering. I'll have to try it next time! The current owners opened about 9 months ago. I never tried the old Zadna, so I can't compare...but the current Zadna Grill is a banger and I look forward to returning to try more items on their menu.

The beef kebab plate was so scrumptious. The flavors were good - warm, fresh, herby. I ate my whole plate and left zero crumbs. You must try their garlic and chili sauce! I'm a fan of the salad, never had I had such a delicious sumac dressing!Atmosphere was friendly, our server was very sweet and was happy to explain the menu and culture of the cuisine. Price wise I thought I got my value's-worth for my plate, $20 for a nice meal. Deliciously memorable
