I ordered a gyro. Filling is plentiful. Chicken wasn't dry like the other chain. I asked for the dressing on the side so I can put the amount I want. Their fries are good. Nice and crispy. Restaurant is clean. Food came out fast

It took me awhile to try Halal Guys again. I had Halal Guys at its original location in NY and loved it. When one opened in Fremont, I tried it and was unimpressed. Finally on a Saturday night, my boyfriend and I ordered Halal Guys. This time around it was much better. The chicken sharwama was dry for my liking, but I liked the grilled chicken. I tried the gyro and it was good, but wish it wasn't so salty. Portions are generous. The chocolate baklava is a must get! Would definitely order again and it's great option for late night dinner.

This restaurants was quite clean and the service was amazing because as it was the first time we went, we were with confused like what to order and how to order it so they helped us really well. It was fast as we ordered some extra Pita bread so that we can take it along at home so they packed it very nicely and we could have it warm as we reached home. As this was our first time to be here in Halal guys, I was confused what to order and what not so we end up ordering two large plate 1with Shawarma and the other one with barbecue chicken, which was quite well. I really like the taste and my husband also like it very much . We ordered two large plates, which I think was too much so if anybody is willing to eat, please go ahead and order one plate because 1 small plate is enough. The barbecue sauce in the pita bread was little bit spicy so anyone who is fond of spicy and hot will really enjoy it. Some extra onion, which will also do nice.

Stay away from placing a catering order!!!I will NEVER order catering from halal guys ever again. So much false advertisement. Don't have photos of tray/large platters where people can build their own bowls and deliver individually packed meals. I ordered catering for 20 people thinking they can scoop the meats, rice, and toppings as they please BECAUSE THATS WHAT THE CATERING SITE ADVERTISES!!!! Instead, we got 20 separate bowls for each person, with the same thing in all. people couldn't eat half of the order/items because they were allergic to chickpeas or couldn't have spicy food, etc. It was a catering order and should've been self-serve with platters.So embarrassing. We threw half of the food away and it was such a disappointment. Worst experience ever.

I think the current rating is reasonable at least from my experience. The small chicken plate came with a generous amount of each ingredient, including of course chicken, rice, veggies, and sauce. The chicken was tender, but disappointing in other regards. Nothing that made it stand out/super good. Rice was fine, and the veggies were fresh. I think what saved the day was the abundance of white sauce and olives honestly. Service was fine.

Like others have said the portion size and customer service is a bit lacking. Went in on a recent evening during the week and got a small and regular chicken platters. For the price and size of platters you'd expect a bit more. The gentleman taking orders was nice but the cashier just walked away after taking payment and prompting me to the gratuity screen. This Halal Guys is located in a busy and popular plaza with plenty of parking. This is one of the bigger location with both indoor and outdoor dining available. Service was fairly quick here. Unfortunately, portion size of ingredients were not as generous as other locations. I usually do the half chicken half beef gyro platter option with some of the toppings on the sides. The chicken were large pieces however, not as flavorful or as tender as it could be. Overall, food was decent. If you're a fan of Halal Guys, I recommend downloading their app to order online and skip the line plus accumulate points from your purchases - you even get a free platter for your birthday!

Went to this place and ordered a few chicken bowls. What they gave me was complete garbage. It didn't even look like chicken and it was old, some shared leftover grease at the bottom. This should have been thrown away and not given to any customer. Management, it was such a waste of $30. Please tell your employees to give customers fresh food.
