I need to grab lunch and found this place nearby. I walked in and it's completely empty during lunch. I was seated right away. I ordered onion rings and tofu steak. This place is pretty quiet. Server was attentive and provided a great service. As for the view, you can see the pool area and garden. It's peaceful. Perhaps they are busier during all you can eat buffet for breakfast. I wish the restaurant offers a variety of coffee choices such as latte. They only had black coffee.

I walked in to The Bistro around 7pm on a Thursday and there were 0 guests. There was a man on the opposite of the side of the bar that I found walking deeper into the restaurant. He appeared to be doing finances. I had to announce myself, he did not get up, barely looked my direction. He said take any seat. I grabbed a seat and after a minute he got up from the bar and walked over to me. I asked for the menu and a water and was given a folded paper menu where even the printer ink was faded. I wanted to leave immediately, I asked for the food to go and ordered an apple whiskey burger and quesadilla with the question "is there onions" he replied "yes, raw" and I replied "please no onions on anything". After 26 minutes waiting alone in a restaurant where the bar had tvs playing TLC's 500lbs life (not something people want to see when they are eating), my food was finally ready. He rang me out and I went to my room. The fries were stale, burger completely dry from the apple slices inside to the beef itself (heavily unseasoned). The worst part, everything was saturated in raw onions. I was the only person here, there were no pending orders, no online orders. Just mine. 26 minutes, 1 no onion request and failed order, the quesadilla had oversized chopped red bell pepper and a small portion of chicken accompanied with onions. It made it to the trash immediately. I'm here 1 night leaving 5am the next day. I will not go back and ask for my $52 dollars back for this horrible meal. But I will leave a review when I never leave reviews, because I am a major foodie. I love to eat at locations where it can be an experience. The only experience here was a scene from kitchen nightmares where I was able to play the role as chef Ramsey but I cannot be bothered to ask what's wrong with the place. It's not worth the horrible experience. Save your time, and your money. Owners if you want to remotely refund, that would be an amazing act of guest service. I would highly suggestion that.

The food selection is horrible and it's obvious that they need a new chef to update the menu and to offer better offerings based on the clientele. Unfortunately, there are not many options close to the hotel, so if you plan on staying at the Sheraton, this may be your only walk to option. The service is very good and the waiter/bartender, which is the only person serving did a accommodating job. He is actually very kind and helpful but unfortunately the selection and quality of the food is subpar. We ordered the spinach salad with salmon and the salmon was extremely over cooked and dry. Wouldn't really recommend it based on that.Okay everybody deserves a second chance... fast forward to the next night. Had the Ribeye steak. Shouldn't be be too hard to prepare. But I was wrong and the meal was a disaster. I was in the Navy and although we were privileged to have some of the best equipment and food in the service, it was reminiscent of a naval meal on a ship when we were not on base in San Diego. Probably the only time I've ever had a ribeye steak smothered in gravy and mashed potatoes. What were they thinking? This ruined the steak and the natural flavor. Just stay away from this place. They don't know what they're doing.

The Sheraton needs to get their act together with this sorry excuse for a restaurant. Let me first start off by saying that the bar staff was nice and the drinks I had were fine. The issue is with the food... well I'm still not sure if they have food because mine never came. I sat at the bar waiting over 90 mins for a plate of nachos. Not sure if this was their way of trying to get me to buy more drinks while I wait, but I ended up leaving before the food ever came out. My friend who I was with decided to stay and wait past the 90 min for his steak that eventually came. $70 for a cold steak and frozen bag vegetables.. Ya we aren't eating here again. Like I said, bar is fine. Do not waste your time with the food.

Was a convenient location for a business meeting. Waiter took forever to get our order and the food took a long time to come out. The quesadilla was just OK.

**************** REVIEW 417 ****************** Located in the Sheraton Hotel, the Bistro is a casual resto overlooking the garden courtyard, fountains and the pool of the hotel. They open all day with breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner specials. I usually come here when my customers are in town and stay here. Sometimes just for some power business lunch. Designed with the traveler in mind, they offer all kind of hot and cold sandwiches, pasta, fish, chef's specials made with fresh ingredients, and salads. Some of their healthier choices I usually order here:- Soup of the day, the veggies & chicken noodle soup are always winner here.- Shrimp taco - frilled shrimp, with fresh lettuce, salsa and guacamole.- Caesar Salad or the Walnut Salad - giant portions for entrées!- Veggies Wrap - with grilled veggies, asparagus, tomato, really nice & serve with side of fresh fruits as well.- Chicken Panini - hot and fresh! Service is always good here, although their wine list is limited!

Stayed at the hotel on a Saturday. The drinks were ok. They dont have a cocktail menu. So you have to make your own request. Servive was nice. The steak was amazing. So jucy and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were yummy. The seared spinach was not that good. It was sour. But oval i enjoyed my lunch and drink.

I have avoided coming here purely on the reviews. The convenient location and fairly well presenting menu should be a plus. However it is all for nothing- the reviews are absolutely spot on. I am not sure I have ever seen anything so disgusting in an "upscale" hotel. Sheraton and Marriott should absolutely step in...it is absolutely a brand crushing experience. When you walk in you need to navigate constant standing water- now containing some sort of strange growth in the parking lot. Once inside you are met with the decor of something someone found at a remnant sale 35 years ago. The only thing distracting you from the look and feel of your basement growing up is the absolute putrid smell and lack of working AC. There is an obvious attempt to mask the smell with cleaning supplies- possibly carpet cleaner. To the point that after 15 minutes my nose was running w/ a slight burning sensation. We quickly decided to only get drinks and bail. I haven't seen a more lackluster beer selection in a long time. They had Shocktop on tap! I decided to get an Old Fashion. It was almost undrinkable- watery, definitely a light pour. Quite possibly shaken vs. stirred. Somehow they messed up a 3 ingredient drink. I cannot fathom any Executive Chef and/or hospitality manager that would find any of this acceptable. I am not ranting to be disagreeable- I am genuinely concerned for peoples safety and just embarrassed for the Sheraton/Marriott brand. They seemingly have a well occupied hotel most nights- that restaurant should be hard to get into...instead it's real easy to leave- and even more easy to avoid all together. They need to close for 4 months, completely overhaul, both inside and staff. The only explanation- the owners of the property are trying to sell and avoiding letting any $ out the door. There can be no other explanation...the place is historically- if not- criminally bad.

Worst food I have ever had. I would never eat here again and it's cold asf. And the server is great but the food is blah. At best yikes If I could say a Lowe rating I would. Don't go here for food unless you like to have bad tasting and cold atmosphere
