I have been wanting to try this place for some time and I'm glad I finally did. The food was delicious. Don't expect a nice warm welcome or scenery... walk in, order and pay through the machine and take a seat. Before you know it someone will appear from the back with your fresh off the grill, hot, delicious authentic food. Both beef and chicken Kabobs were juicy and flavorful, ric was cooked to perfection, grilled tomatoes and jalapeño were perfectly charred.

Incredible. This place is easily the BEST KABOB IN BAY AREA. I've been to so many persian spots and they're almost always a huge disappointment and expensive but this place is amazing and delicious and worth the money! Get the kabob plate with chicken thighs, the salad is good too. I tried the barg, chicken breast, and lamb but they're nothing compared to the koobideh and joojeh.Service is fine, you order your food at a kiosk or counter and they eventually bring it out to you. You don't get a server so this place is more of a casual eatery. But still it's worth coming here, the food is incredible. SEVERELY UNDERRATED. Luckily they just updated the decor in the place to a pleasant brown wood tone walls, before it was a really intense brown and red but it's finally easier on the eyes too. The food is super juicy and flavorful, there's not an insane amount of rice to meat ratio which I appreciate because that's how places cut costs and everything is delicious even after reheating too!!

Was craving for some Persian food, and this restaurant was mentioned in a conversation between friends. I ordered the chicken thigh and beef koobideh combination for take out, and added a skewer of chicken breast so I can try out the three meats that my family loves to order.The portion size was great and the chicken was moist and juicy. The beef koobideh was juicy, but too chewy/rubbery for my taste.The only issue was it took over 30mins to get the food.

I wanted to be excited. But the tables were sticky and the food was not particularly delicious. The seasoning was not up to par and the sumac was cut with a lot of salt. Tasted a bit of old oil and was awfully greasy.

It was amazing! It was our first time here and the girl behind the counter kindly explained the menu for us, then we ordered on the kiosk. The platters are LARGE, if you have two light eaters, you could probably share one. My husband and I should have probably gotten the family plate if we saw it in time but we didn't, so we did our best and took home leftovers. All the kebabs we got were deliciously spiced, juicy and tender. The salads were dressed well and the rice was plump and everything was just yummy.The place is casual, with the ordering kiosk and self serve water.We would recommend and bring our family and friends here.

Came here for lunch and it was delicious. Got the combo plate with rice and salad. Everything was authentic and cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy and the koobideh was tasty. Their rice and salad were so fresh and the portions were huge. Great place to catch some great food.

Came here on a Saturday night with friends and overall pretty good experience. Docking a star immediately because the restaurant was insanely smokey from the cooking and our eyes were literally burning lol. The place is small and I don't think I'd ever dine in again, it was really uncomfortable.We all got individual entrees, I opted for the chicken breast kabob. The presentation of the food is 10/10, but for the price and only getting one skewer of chicken, I don't think it's worth it. The food was pretty tasty, the rice was buttery and fluffy and the chicken was juicy and well cooked as well. I do wish they had some sauces on the side, think it would elevate the taste by a lot.

We can to eat on a weekday night which was pretty empty. We ordered at the kiosk but didn't see any workers in the front. They all seem to be working in the back since there were lots of pick up orders. Our food came out and was delicious. 1 plate of the ground beef kebabs were enough to split between 2 people. I love that they included some pieces of tahdig which were super crispy but a little oily. It added a nice crunch to the meal. The slices raw onions tossed in sumac added a nice flavor to each bite. Only downside was that we didn't get any water the whole time we were eating but I would definitely come back for the food.

I'm a big foodie and I cook as much as possible and most importantly I do care about good food, having said that, I've been looking forward to trying this place and I can tell you their kebabs are one of the BEST in Bay Area. Now that we're also done with food quality I must admit their setup, tables, service, delivering food and clean up were all terrible, to me this is more of bistro with great food and potential to grow. Here is my suggestion to the owner, please take over Negeen and convert your business to a proper restaurant and hire servers. You need to make some changes and grow and make it a restaurant and then and only then I will make this 5 star review.
