Sweet Diplomacy

This is a very cute little dedicated gluten free bakery in downtown Los Altos. I arrived at the bakery right when they opened, and was greeted warmly by the staff. Their selection of gluten free and other allergy friendly baked goods was overwhelming! Today I opted for a lemon poppyseed muffin (which I inhaled almost immediately) and an egg custard tart which I am saving for tomorrow. I am super excited to try the tart since I thought I'd never get to eat an egg custard tart again after going gluten free! They also serve delicious flavored lattes. I tried the seasonal honey cardamom latte and it was delicious. I think I'll have to come here every week to try to sample all of their tasty gluten free treats.

I love sweet diplomacy for offering very yummy gf and df options. although it has been an expensive it or miss, still 4 stars for what they get right.I LOVE their Lemon poppyseed muffins laced with yummy icing.I honestly didn't care for their cookies at all. some even seemed under baked..I love the vegan GF cupcakes though! especially the vanilla icing.. they had some rotation of some cherry or raspberry filling .. super yummy.the brownies are meh.. I like the paleo better ..the service averages a 4 stars.. sometimes you get 5 star, sometimes 3.. ambiance is lovely, just wish they had seating.

I'm a bit conflicted about what rating to give Sweet Diplomacy in Palo Alto, but I've decided on five stars because some of the food and beverage items I've had here over the years are certainly five-star worthy. That said, my experiences have been mixed--while some visits have featured wonderful service and truly delicious treats, other times I've been disappointed with both the food and the service to the point where I've simply left.Despite the inconsistency, the high points have kept me coming back, and when everything clicks, it's absolutely worth it. Here's hoping for more of those five-star moments in the future!

I received a box of sugar free, vegan and gluten-free cookies from a friend. The cookies in the package remained intact but 3 individual compostable plastic packaging came apart! Some cookies were exposed to air during transit. After warming the cookies in the oven, they have a crunch to each bite but have a different mouthfeel-grainy texture. It is good to know that these specialty cookies exist and can be shipped nationwide.

This charming boutique cupcake and coffee shop is situated in a prime downtown location in Los Altos. They offer an impressive variety of cupcake cream flavors that are delightfully refreshing, light, and not overly sweet. The cupcakes themselves come in two flavors--chocolate and vanilla--and both are absolutely delicious. They also have adorable dessert jars, which make for perfect thank-you gifts. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I highly recommend stopping by if you're ever in Los Altos!

My daughter's bday and cannot have gluten products. Found this bakery that is % gluten-free.Service was friendly and fast.Cupcakes were kinda of dry but still tasty. Recommend microwave for 10 sec to moisten it. Icing will melt a little but we didn't mind.However, I did find a piece of plastic in my cupcake after I bitten into it. That did not deter us from gobbling down the rest of the cakes. Other than that worth a trip to buy other baked goods!

My daughter has more allergies that the normal person and the fact that this place regularly has items on their menu that can accomodate all her allergies is a life saver.Allergens aside, their products are actually really delicious. My daughter loved the red velvet cupcake which was vegan, free of gluten/soy/oats/dairy.We live in San Francisco but have happily made the trip here a few times just so my daughter can have something she enjoys.Thank you for being here!

Wow. Baker paradise. I just had the amazing cowboy cookie and it was so delicious. A little chewy, chocolatey, nutty spiced and everything I like in cookies. I'm def coming back for dessert. They're also gluten and vegan friendly (good for your gut!)

Cute little bakery, loved the variety of well labelled vegan options! The workers were really friendly, I asked one about the vegan offerings and she went though all the options for me. I ended up going for the vegan red velvet cupcake on her recommendation, which was absolutely delicious! Would love to come back and try some other vegan treats :)

We had the chocolate on chocolate vegan cupcake and it was divine. You can't tell it's gluten free. We immediately ordered a cake. Highly recommend!
