I can't say enough amazing things about Sugar Butter Four! They created the most stunning cake for my sister's birthday, and it completely exceeded all our expectations. The theme was Chanel and red bottoms, and every detail was executed with such elegance and creativity--right down to the edible chain! It was truly a masterpiece and looked too perfect to eat (though we absolutely did!).The flavor was just as impressive as the design. The Dark Chocolate Truffle cake was rich, moist, and decadent. Pure indulgence in every bite.Sugar Butter Four's artistry, attention to detail, and commitment to bringing our vision to life made this cake the highlight of the celebration. If you're looking for a show-stopping centerpiece that tastes as amazing as it looks, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Sister bakery to my favorite bakery in the bay- La Patisserie in Cupertino. We were in the area and decided to pick up some individual size burnt almond cakes.We really love their burnt almond cakes. It has a strong and flavorful almond taste. We love that they add in a thin layer of chocolate cake and the custard is what seals the deal. Everything together can make it super sweet but we seem to like it. We got at La Patisserie and heard SBF has the same thing. It's our favorite Burnt Almond Cake! We think it beats Peter's Bakery too. Peter is the original but I feel it's super light and at times tasteless and dry. It's the only the cream that makes it. Huge fan of their cakes!

The kid behind the counter literally gave me my small cake without a glove. When I asked her if you don't use gloves here, she said oh sorry we just didn't have the sheet. I literally saw her touch my cake with her bare hands. This place is okay even in taste. But that was disgusting. I guess I'm done patronizing them.

When people say they got their cakes from Sugar Butter Flour, I know I'll be eating a damn good cake; so far their cake hasn't failed me.Recently I got their Burnt Almond Cake (BAC) and it was absolutely amazing. I usually go to Peter's Bakery for BAC that's located in East SJ, but decided to change it up. The difference is night and day; Peter's Bakery is half the price at about $25, but I feel like you get half the ingredients because the cake is very light in taste. Compare that to Sugar Butter Flour, smallest round cake that serves about 8 people will run about $55, but it's dense and moist. The winner between the two of them for BAC is Sugar Butter Flour.

Found this place as we were looking for wedding cakes for my son and his now wife. The wedding cake sampler we had was ok. We all were disappointed as the samples were rather dry. On a whim, we decided to get the burnt almond cake, based on other yelp reviews, and OMG - it so delicious and addicting! We love this cake. We ordered a full sheet (it's huge!) of this burnt almond cake as the groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner/party. Everyone who had a taste went Gaga for it! Definitely recommend this. They do sell a small 'ball/round' of this cake that is easily shared! Service is a hit or miss here depends on who you get at the counter. A popular bakery as they seem to be busy each time I visit.

SBF is my go-to on the Peninsula for birthdays and events. They always fulfill the orders on time when I call ahead, and their cakes are great.There were one or two times that staff was a bit curt on the phone, but they do get busy with orders. Make sure you don't pick up your cake late, or they will check on you until you arrive. Our favorites are the chocolate mocha and red velvet cakes.

Somehow, the custom cake I ordered looked even better than the image I provided them. My jaw actually dropped when I first opened the box. The cake quality was also 10/10. To quote the cake recipient: "This is probably the best tasting cake I've ever had." Bravo to the SBF team for nailing this one!
