Stopped by for dinner on a Friday evening. Service was quick and easy with no other customers in sight, and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes. Note, they have a $20 credit card minimum, according to the sign at the front register. Indoor seating was plentiful in this casual space, though I ordered to go.Got the loco moco, packaged for takeout. The gravy came on the side in a little cup, and had good flavor. The beef patties were cooked medium well, the eggs runny and made perfectly overeasy as requested, and the macaroni not too creamy, just right. A lot of rice was included with the dish as well, certainly good value for the meal.From hawaiian fare to breakfast croissants to glazed donuts, they offer a nice variety of options on their menu for any time of day, even after midnight. The display case was empty at night time, so certain items like donuts look to only be offered earlier in the day. Still, there's more than enough to keep me coming back for more.

Usually go here for lunch.Food taste is average, ingredients are cheap, portions are big and prices are higher than they should be in my opinion.Ordered musubis and the breading was not cooked thoroughly on the chicken katsu. You can see the flour. Whoever makes the musubis is a bit inconsistent, some days the rice portion is overwhelming, some days the meat portion is overwhelming.

Poor customer service, I ask for BBQ Sauce and the counter girl yelled at me when I told her that the consistency of the bbq sauce is not consistent, the first one they served is a bit thick and the one they gave me for to go is liquidy. She seems not happy as well when she took my order.

Are you up late and looking for some good food? This is the place for you. They're open till 2am which is insane! I usually get their chicken katsu or their loco loco but I've also had their Spam Saimen and all three are so good. On top of that, I also get the musubi sampler. They give 4 musubi which comes in clutch when I get randomly hungry through the day. They're super friendly and they work fast! So worth it. Ambiance? Trust just try it!

Amazing BBQ. Their chicken cutlet and bbq chicken are amazing, and the portion sizes are insanely generous. The mac salad is not too heavy, but still hits the spot. Do not forget to pick up donuts as well! Super fresh and delicious, and they make for the perfect dessert afterwards!

This is the ultimate drunk nighttime food. They're open late. The food is decent. And they're a one stop shop. I can't speak to the donuts because we didn't have them, but the Hawaiian food was middle of the road Hawaiian fast food.They have a dining room adjacent to the kitchen that looks like it was converted from a shop next-door. Plenty of room. not too busy. Just what I was looking for.

God, I was so glad to find this spot at 11 pm because I was coming back from a concert freaking STARVING. Sometimes you want more than Wing Stop or Taco Bell for those late-night bites.I got the BBQ chicken plate and enjoyed it a lot! Chicken wasn't dry at all, and the sauce meant for dipping on the side was pretty good doused on the rice. Portion size was good too-they gave me like 4 good-size pieces of chicken, and while I normally wouldn't be able to finish that much food, I devoured everything because I was basically ravenous. Also, I need to point out the mac salad. The pile of mac salad that came with my plate HIT the spot perfectly. Creamy, seasoned well, not overly sweet, overall just a great mac salad. I honestly would've ordered a bowl of that by itself on the side.I also saw a review that talked about their pickled jalapeños. They didn't have it tableside, so I had to ask for them at the counter. They weren't extra pickled, so they still had a nice crunch and a bit of that raw jalapeno taste. Anyway, this is a great spot to stop by if it's late and you just really don't want fast food (again). Nice change of pace!

Love this place so much! It's always open late and the food is always fresh! Don't think I've had Hawaiian food before this, but this was a great experience! Love the fish fillet so much and also the spam musubi! The service is always great, and the food comes out very fast, I also love how big the restaurant itself is! Also, they have a wide variety of drinks, and I definitely want to try their donuts next time!

Hawaiian plate lunches until 2am? Yes, you'll find it here at SH Hawaiian & Donuts. I was doing a search for late night eats, and SH Hawaiian BBQ came up and a lover of all things Hawaiian food, I knew I had to check it out. When I went to order, I asked what their most ppl Hawaiian dish was, and they recommended the BBQ Mix plate. This plate will run you about $15.99 and it comes with short ribs, chicken, beer, plus rice and mac salad. The portion size is generous and easily can turns this into two meals worth.All the meats were flavorful and came with a side of a teriyaki sauce. The chicken was probably my favorite of them all, just your classic Hawaiian style bbq chicken. Aside from the meats, the mac salad was hella good. I honestly wish I got two scoops of mac instead of two scoops of rice. I could eat that mac salad all day every day. I dined in, and so glad I did. They have these pickled/vinegar jalapenos at the table, and I could've eaten the whole jar. So good with every bite, and highly recommend trying them out.If you are a fan of Hawaiian plate lunches and/or looking for a late night meal in Palo Alto, this is definitely a spot to check out.

Good late night spot. Duh, Got the bbq of course. Really all you need here, doughnuts are extra large, and lady behind counter was really nice. Drunkin Noodle - No adult beverages but stop by the open late night market next door for that. , nice elderly guy working hard every night I've been there, he needs a vacation!!!
