Overall it was a good first experience trying Turkish inspired coffee. My boyfriend and I tried the following...DRINKS:* Gold Digger - $7 - Very well balanced in flavor for spice, sweetness, milk and coffee. I was a little concerned for the Anise but it was definitely nothing to worry about. It was really good! * Iraqi Tea - $3.50 - the cardamom and cinnamon gave it a very nice subtle flavor. Honestly it's great with or without the sugar they provided.PASTRIES:* Double Pistachio Baklava - $5.25* Burma - $8.50I would definitely make a return for their drinks. But pastry prices are ultimately way too high for the size you're getting. The employees here are friendly and allowed me to smell certain spices to give me an idea of how the drinks will taste.

Sama will have you so excited it will have you wanting to slap something but your Mama! A coffee shop to escape the drama with Java so comforting you'll want to be in your pajama! I ordered two of their exclusives which were the Gold Digger and Blueberry Dream. The Digger had a flavorful blend of cinnamon, toffee and coco topped with edible gold with a soft finish of Anise. The Dream had dark chocolate with a nice blueberry flavor chasing it and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Both lattes were on point with all the elements flowing. I paired up these drinks with a pistachio carrot slice that was perfect. I love the presentation of the lattes and of the shop is so eye pleasing. The tea set ups look so gorgeous and I'll be on the hunt for them next time around. The service was friendly the first time not so much the second but it's probably an age thing. Mug service is in full effect along with the tea set ups. And that's my take, Peace

Tried this small coffee shop with my wife to switch things up.I had the Tiramisu with oat milk, and my wife had the Gold Digger with oat--both were solid choices, and we really enjoyed them. This rating is just for the coffee itself, but there are a few things the shop could improve. The space is pretty small, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the overall cleanliness needs work. Customer service was okay, but the staff could do a better job keeping the place tidy. Whether it's family-owned or corporate, a little extra care and attention to the shop would go a long way.Ratings: Coffee: 4/5 Cleanliness: 2/5 Size: 3/5 Bathroom: 1/5 (Not in the same building) Parking: 2/5Would I come back? Maybe--for the coffee. But I'd love to see the shop step it up in other areas.

great place to do work with wifi and seating! The decor inside is really nice too! The coffee is really unique and pretty good (a bit pricey though). The mango mingle is really unique with a bit of fruity tartness. The gold digger is really nice with warm cozy spices (could be good if cardamom was also added too), especially a strong anise flavor. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Stopped by here for a which caffeine pick me up before a flight. There is street parking along the streets. The cafe itself is pretty small and quaint. The decor was cute and very in tune with the culture. There is a restroom in the garage, you have to ask for the key.The service was ok. I was pretty excited as I saw they had simit there and I love simits. To my disappointment, I ordered the $8 simit only to have it burnt. It was not the best. The drinks were ok too, nothing very special.

Loved our Saturday morning at Sama! For our morning coffee, we got the iced biscoff latte and Turkish coffee with cardamom. Both drinks were great. We also ordered some yummy treats - the Turkish Delight, pistachio baklava and walnut baklava, and a burma. Each were delicious and the paired well with our coffees. Service was really friendly and the interior is nice. Lots of seating available. Definitely a great spot that you can sit with your laptop for a bit or catch up with an old friend. I'm looking forward to trying their other desserts and beverages next time I go. They have fresh juice and tea options too!

I stumbled upon Sama Coffee Shop on a quiet, boring Sunday afternoon, thanks to good ol' Yelp -- and I'm so glad I did. I arrived around 4 PM and had no trouble finding street parking in the neighborhood (major win right there).Walking in, I was immediately hit with the vibe. This place feels like a cafe built for royalty. The decor, the ambiance -- it's giving "regal elegance" in the best way possible. Plush seating, warm tones, and just an overall fancy but cozy feel. It's definitely the kind of spot you'd want to flex on your IG story. For my order, I went with the Pistachio Baklava and the Gold Digger. Let's start with the Baklava -- delicious, no doubt. Flaky, sweet, nutty perfection. The only catch? It was gone in, like, two bites. For the price, I was hoping for just a little more to savor. Still, if you're craving something sweet, it's worth a try. Now, onto the Gold Digger. This drink had me excited -- a toffee-flavored masterpiece topped with "edible gold," or so I thought. The flavor? Incredible. Smooth, sweet, and perfectly balanced. But where was my gold?! I was expecting a sprinkle of gold flakes or some kind of fancy shimmer, but I didn't see any of that. Did I miss it? Did it melt into the drink? I'm not sure, but I was hoping for a little visual flex to match the name. Still, the taste alone was enough to make me want to order it again. One thing to note -- this place gets busy. Most of the seating was taken by people with laptops, locked into that "study cafe" grind. Honestly, it's the perfect spot if you're looking for a work-friendly space. Just get there early if you want to snag a good seat. All in all, Sama Coffee Shop is a whole experience. From the royal aesthetic to the delicious drinks, it's a spot I'll be returning to for sure -- just hoping I catch sight of those elusive gold flakes next time.

Stopped by yesterday to check out this joint after reading through the reviews. Unfortunately I did not taste any food and ordered just an Americano. The flavors were delicious and the ambiance was calm and relaxing until the music got too loud at times which had one patron talking way too loud. Smh. The wifi was fast and free and the space for but a few. The bathroom is located at the end of a labyrinth but it's clean. Anyway I hope to visit soon and recommend this establishment.
