The Daily GrindSF-based coffee purveyor that saw humble beginnings back in 2003 in the City's Mission District. There, Phil Jaber and his son, Jacob, started a small coffee shop that will soon become one of the best places in the state to get a cup o' Joe. Philz Coffee now has over fifty locations throughout Cali, and a few in the Chicagoland area. Why it wasn't that long ago when the DTSJ location was the only one in the South Bay, and now there seven throughout, with this Willow Glen location being the newest. The Good:*I haven't been here in weekends, but weekday mornings are never too busy as there's hardly ever a line. *Friendly service*I'm glad they finally went to a more traditional approach to ordering coffee at the counter, as opposed to older method of having to speak directly to the barista. *Outdoor seating*One of the few places you can control the sweetness & creaminess level of the coffee; I always order "medium cream and light sweet." *While they don't have as many mixed drinks as the usual coffee purveyor, it's nice to see them have a few regular mixed, as well as some seasonal offerings. *Prices are actually pretty decent as I usually only spend ±$6 for a medium. The Meh:*Cashless business. Fwiw, I could care less, but someone might. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯*Restroom needs a code which is mildly annoying*Linear store design, as it's much longer than it is wide, and only seats ±20-25 people. The Ugly:*Parking in DT Willow Glen is always a challenge, but luckily this Philz has a "private" lot in the back, but (obviously) they don't monitor it and lots of non-Philz customers like to park there for "...only a minute." Conclusion: Good cuppa for a reasonable price.

Who doesn't love themselves a nice cup of coffee especially when made right, part of the reason why we love Philz is the consistency & warm welcome we get no matter what Philz we stepped in at. As a former Starbucks barista that was one of the biggest problems we faced at the multiple locations I've worked at. Most of my companions were not really welcoming. So kudos to this particular Philz location for having a very welcoming atmosphere! Parking can be a tad bit tedious as it is located in the heart of downtown willow glen, but nonetheless we still make it a point to keep coming back lol we recommend you guys check it out yourself if you haven't done so already!

I always love coming here! Philz is my favorite coffee places to go too! This location is great since it's in downtown Willow Glen. There's a bunch of places to eat, shop and craft things. There's staff here are always welcoming and there to help if you're having a hard time to decide what drink you want. Love going here!

They have seasonal pumpkin spice drink :)Miss Philz coffee so much ! This location has a good assortment of pastries. They do not have the Philz bagel I get regularly in dtsj. I didn't realize the cashier didn't understand my order and that they only serve bagels with cream cheese. Clean cafe with good vibrations.

Philz Coffee has the best coffee I've ever had! The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans lingers throughout the café. The coffee station is lined with a variety of coffee beans, and the team of baristas are busy grinding them fresh to retain the flavor. Although the café is very spacious, it has limited seating, so I opted for an Iced Mocha to-go. The coffee was incredibly aromatic, with rich, bold notes of dark chocolate, caramel, and a hint of smokiness from the roasted beans. The quality of the chocolate was exceptional--rich, and perfectly balanced, adding just the right level of sweetness without overpowering the coffee's deep, complex flavors. The iced coffee itself was wonderfully creamy, and unlike most places where iced coffee can taste watered down, Philz has truly mastered the balance. Although Philz was very busy, I received my coffee within five minutes of ordering, and I enjoyed every single sip of it.

Philz is located right on Lincoln, close to Susiecakes. Stopped in for coffee before meeting a friend for dinner.Friendly service. You could tell the barista enjoyed his job. There is inside seating and it's very quiet and relaxing inside.I ordered the Honey Haze: Philtered Soul Cold Brew with Honey and Oat Milk. He asked, "the preferred way is creamy." I said sure. I enjoyed it.

I usually don't get coffee at a coffee shop anymore but I splurged and Im glad I did! I don't like super sweet coffees anymore but when I saw one I thought that sounds delicious. I ordered an iced honey haze (oat milk and honey). It wasn't super sweet; with the oat milk, it was light and yummy! We ordered through the app which was best since there were a lot of people there and were able to pick it up in very little waiting time!

Every employee here is so kind. Once you start coming in more frequently, they remember your order, little details, it's truly a pleasant experience at this location. Drinks are always made nicely. The music is just perfect. Check it out

This is a cute place to sit and work or grab and go, I typically go! You must get there early if you want a seat. I always go for a drink whenever I'm around the area, Willow Glen downtown is cool! Parking sucks but that's to be expected for there. The parking lot is a joke. I think it fits 6 cars or so. The coffee is still some of the best around. It's worth the time finding the parking!
