M Y Bakery is located within Marina grocery in the far right corner ("Freshly Baked"), past the hot foods section. Eats are on display on both sides of the ordering counter.Offerings (Taiwanese bakes) : buns, whole cakes, whole bread loafs, bread slices, pastries, mini rolls, macarons, pineapple pastry, singly or in boxes of 6, 8.-flavas of chocolate, pork floss, chocolate, banana, taro, pork sung re: breads, rolls...Self service what u like, bring it to counter, pay. No decor at all. Red boxes stacked on shelves above the shelves which holds the baked goods. Looked at the selections. Nothing struck my fancy, so left empty handed. 12ish may be too late to get the "hot" items.

4.5 STARSNearly $5 for one Bǐng?!After the initial shock, I had to check myself.I don't complain about a $6 croissant from a pâtisserie. What about a boba drink? A freakin' boba drink can cost up to $8....for some tea, milk, and balls...that one can easily make at home. And, there are days, I'll have two drinks. Sans the balls. Then, some of us wonder why we're hella broque?!The Bǐng at M. Y Bakery are 100% worth the price (I'm trying to change my mentality that AZN food should be cheap) but I'll get into that later...M. Y Bakery's specialty are Bǐng, Taiwanese flakey pastries with various fillings. They're a family-owned and operated business located inside Marina Food Market. As you enter head to the back right, they're next to the BBQ deli counter. Delivery available via DoorDash. You can also find their goods on WEEE!, a Bay Area based grocery delivery service.S E L E C T I O NBread, pastries (Taiwanese pineapple cakes), cookies, and bǐng (a selection that I haven't seen elsewhere). They also have basque burnt cheesecakes but I didn't see any on display so they may require pre-order? Gift boxes with assorted items available. Not every label is in English but the staff is more than happy to help translate. Credit cards accepted with a $10 minimum.Staff wore masks.M Y P I C K S***Spread: https://bit.ly/3NySSaU* Mochi Pastry / 鸳鸯酥红豆 Red Bean + Mochi Bǐng ($4.45)* Mochi Pastry / 玉露Q饼: Pork Floss + Mung Bean Bǐng ($4.65)* Q Pastry / Q饼: Red bean + Mochi + Salted Egg + Pork Floss Bǐng ($4.85)First, can we appreciate ALL the laminated flaky layers: https://bit.ly/3iOYpfe? I was covered in flaky goodness because it was so light and shatteringly crispy. And, having to make the fillings especially the mochi, it's arguably more labor intensive than a croissant so it's worth the cost. Plus, they're fairly large so easily shareable. I'm super basic so my fav was the plain red bean mochi; a good balance of savory sweetness with crisp flaky layers. Next fav, was the pork floss and mung bean which was savory, sweet, and nutty with a meaty umami. My least fav was the red bean, mochi, salted egg, and pork floss but only because the combo was too salty for me.S H E L F L I F EI asked the lady how long the Bǐngs are good for and she said, 7 days. That's a BIIIIG stretch.I tried the Bǐngs the next day, and the mochi had already lost some of its QQ chew and by day three, there was no more chewy bite.I def recommend eating them the same day you buy them!S E R V I C EFriendly and prompt.A M B I A N C EBakery stall inside the market. No seating.P A R K I N GPlenty of free, easy parking in Beresford Square Shopping Center.Overall, delicious, beautifully crafted, and unique Bǐngs that you probably won't find anywhere else in the Bay Area. Def recommend checking out M. Y bakery if you happen to be in the Milpitas area!

I really wanted to like their pastries at almost $5 each but they were just ok. I got the taro pastry, Q mochi, wedding sesame pastry, and red bean mochi pastry. I just wasn't a huge fan of their outside layers even if the inside was good. The sweet and salty of the egg yolk, pork floss, res bean, and mochi if the Q mochi was a little strange for me. Not horrible, not great. The inside of the taro was good but the outside almost felt doughy. The croissant was buttery, soft, and delicious. It wasn't the crispy, flake everywhere croissant, so if you're looking for that, this isn't it. It was still quite tasty! We also got their wheat sandwich bread which was normal and delicious. They made for excellent sandwiches!

I'm obsessed with their mochi salted egg pork floss su bings (pastries) with different fillings. The only place I've found that does it this way. 85 degrees has something slightly similar during mooncake festival but nothing as good as this!Inside the Marina super market. D

I was looking for the best red bean salted egg pastry and went to:1) M.Y. Bakery $3.852) Sheng Kee Bakery $3.25Both places accept credit card only at minimum purchase of $10.M.Y. Bakery is the clear winner without doubt. Nice dough and the filling was not too overwhelming. I would certainly go for the deal buying 5 and get one free. I give it -1 star due to the really high price and inflexibly payment options. Sheng kee on the other hand was disappointing. Way to heavy, buttery mushy almost. Didn't like it.Update: red bean Mochi was better than the coconut one with salted egg. Best is still the normal salted egg with red bean

Ordered cake and paid in advance; but got their several days old cake insteadOrdered in person and paid in full. However, when picking cake up at the scheduled time, they seem clueless and asked me "What cake did you order?" After I told them, they just give me the cake in the display and asked me to pay again even though the receipt has been noted as paid! I explicitly asked "Are you sure that this is the cake you made for my order?" The woman impatiently replied "Of course". It's only until I am half way home, it dawned on me that the cake didn't have my BF's name which I asked for since it's for his birthday. Not surprising, the cake didn't taste fresh either.Well, I will NOT return and will warn all my friends to go elsewhere if they want freshly made cakes.

Went there about an hour before closing and the bakery pretty much had almost sold their buns. A few options left. Price is reasonable and for the buns, there is a special for buy 4 get 1 free. Besides buns, there are also other varieties of bakeries available such as mocha cake or cake rolls. Minimum $10 if using credit card.

This is my second time ordering a custom made cake from them and they are always helpful and excellent in delivering expecations. I recently worked with Lydia to work on our custom needs and she was really patient and explained us the options which are available due to current covid-19 pandamic restrictions. It all worked out in the end and everyone loved the cake asking for references is a best complement in my mind.A must to try out if you're short on time from your event.

Made a purchase for M Y Bakery off of SayWeee and I was excited because it had a lot of bakery options that otherwise isn't accessible to me during the shelter-in-place order. I ordered 2 bundles - one was the basque cheesecake and the other was a variety of individual buns. The buns and cheesecake were good, though I will say getting it delivered probably sacrifices a bit of the quality since I don't know how long its been since they made the food, packed it, and then I received it. I can't imagine more than 24 hours, but the bread was already on the dry-side.I definitely recommend heating up the buns in the microwave for 10-15 seconds before trying to enjoy them. You really can't go wrong with adding a little more heat to these guys! The cheesecake was also pretty darn good - it is dense and creamy in the middle, but the sides are slightly more cake-like ..kind of like a very rich decadent and creamy cheesecake had a child with Uncle Tetsu's japanese cheesecake. It is $25 for a small little 6" cheesecake, but it is pretty dense and I probably shouldn't be ordering anything larger for 2 ppl! I would also say that basque cheesecake is kind of hard to make with a lot of ingredients so the higher price point is also to be expected.Pro Tip - leave the cheesecake out for at least an hour before you cut into it - it makes it way softer and cheesier!
