To start, the food here is out of this world. As other reviews have stated the location is in a warehouse like area and the ambiance is average. However, the customer service and food quality was superb. We ordered a few different dishes the Mezza for 4 (there were only 2 of us but it was well worth it), the Mansaf, and the Kefta Kabab Plate. My fiancé grew up with these dishes and said he had not had Mansaf this good since his Grandma made it for him over a decade ago. I had never had it before and was highly impressed. The Mezza for 4 was a great way to try everything and was incredibly flavorful. The Kefta Kabab was also good but it was overshadowed by the Mansaf! Overall, next time we are in the area we will be back! Oh and my fiancé ordered Kenafeh. I did not try this due to not liking pistachios but he said it was one of the best that he has had in the United States.

I went to this place twice, once I had their famous mandy dish with lamb and honestly when I knew it was popular I wondered of why people may think this dish is good. It wasn't my first mandy and it definitely wasn't good at all. The rice was very dry that some were sticky and crunchy. The lamb lacked flavor it was bland. The appetizers were okay.We went there the second time because our friends requested and I ordered chicken shawarma it was good and moist and definitely better option if you would consider. I liked that they had free tea especially in this cold weather.

Best lamb I've found! The meat falls off the bone. Everything is seasoned well and I'm surprised I finished the whole plate without feeling bloated. I ordered the Mandi and my parter ordered Mansaf. The yogurt soup/dip (?) was so good when you pour it over the rice and lamb.

Ended 2023 at this cozy Palestinian-owned restaurant with friends! The restaurant is situated in a grey industrial-esque location, surrounded by other small businesses, offices, and food trucks. Drive all the way to the back of the lot to find Holyland. Parking was spacious on a Thursday night but foot traffic may be different during afternoons and weekdays. Upon walking in we were greeted by a woman behind a counter, where we ordered and paid for food. Utensils, napkins, and drinks are also in the front. There was plenty of seating with tables that can accommodate for four people each.I ordered the Moussaka with no meat, which is an eggplant dish, stewed in tomato sauce. The eggplant's texture was soft since it was probably simmered in the tomato sauce. The taste was decent, but the sauce definitely tasted like marinara. I also got a strawberry basil drink, which was a sweet and tasty contrast to my savory meal. Lastly, no Mediterranean meal is complete without baklava! There was only one kind, which was a classic walnut filling. The phyllo cover was perfectly flaky and the filling ratio was proportional. I haven't had the chance to eat a lot of Middle Eastern food, so I thought this was a nice introductory meal to expand my palette! I'm always intrigued to learn how other cuisines use and blend spices, so Holyland satisfied this curiosity. I would love to come back and try more dishes, as well as offer my support to Palestinian-owned establishments. Thanks to Holyland for their contribution in our diverse community!

Had the pleasure to dine at this restaurant on a Thursday evening around 6:15 pm! Huge parking lot in the plaza and the restaurant itself is very spacious. My friends and I arrived and sat down immediately. You can either order at the front or bring menus to your table. After looking at their menu, I ordered their chicken shish kabab plate and got one of their chilled drinks of mango juice. The mango juice was so refreshing and great. After 10-12 minutes, my order was brought to my table. My entree consisted of cubed chicken, salad, hummus, and rice. The salad was sour and fresh, the hummus had a great smooth texture, and the cubed chicken was grilled to perfection. Great atmosphere for families, groups, and couples to dine at!Definitely recommend!

The Mansaf and the Mandi are harder to find dishes in the bay area even for middle eastern restaurants. They have all the kebabs n stuff as well, but I recommend checking out the other dishes first since you can get kebabs/wraps anywhere.Overall, generally enjoyed my food and will probably try some of their other items next time

I went there after attending Academy of Self Defense around the corner on a Sunday. I was surprised that they were open. The woman who helped me was very friendly and helpful. The food was prepared very quickly to my surprise. The food tasted amazing and it was fresh. The proportions were generous. The price is fair. I will definitely go back and bring friends..

I just finished a Mezza for 4, an appetizer that includes pita bread, babaganoush, hummus, tabouleh and falafels. It fed me through lunch and dinner, and it is among the tastiest I have had.I dropped by around noon of a Saturday. I placed my order to go after asking about which were their best dishes (I'll be back for them). I was in the mood to try the tabouleh and I am always ready to judge a falafel.I must say that for a takeaway order, the presentation is thoughtful. A slice of tomato on the tabouleh. Spicy sauce on the hummus and babaganoush. The hummus swirled with a splash of olive oil. And gorgeously deep golden falafels. And everything was delicious. The babaganoush had a pleasing smoky hint, and the hummus was silky. The falafels had just the right amount of spice flavor. To add, I enjoyed some complimentary milk tea while waiting. And the lady who served me was happy to answer my questions. I enjoyed learning.

The food is bomb when it arrives, if it arrives, but the overall experience has become increasingly unreliable. More often than not, the dishes you order are unavailable, missing from the menu, or never arrive at all. It's particularly disappointing because this used to be one of my absolute favorites, a weekly go-to. Unfortunately, with the growing inconsistency, it's time to explore other options.

It took SOO long to get my food despite there being only 2 other couples eating in.The portions are not that bad for the price. Overall flavor was okay but nothing to rave about. It was also difficult to find the place and out of the way. Because of this, I'll stick to my usual spots. I did like the kenafeh though and unique dishesFood: 7/10Service: 7/10
