Love their kabobs. They always have a quick and clean service and provide good quantity for the price.

Nice to see an authentic and casual Afghan joint in the Fremont area! It was a quiet Tuesday night but this place was quite packed. Nice cozy aesthetics on the inside with traditional furniture. Service was good and they were able to provide items that weren't explicitly on the menu as well. The meats were cooked very nicely, and their rice also tasted like a lot of care was put into cooking it. I think the highlight is definitely all of their desserts though! Especially the Sheer Chai (Afghan milk tea) - I would've drank 10 if I had the stomach space!

I recently visited **Fremont Kabob Restaurant** and was pretty impressed! First off, the portions are *generous*--you definitely get your money's worth here. I had the kabob platter, and it came with a good amount of meat, rice, and all the classic sides. It was tasty, well-seasoned, and filling. The wait time was really quick, too, which I appreciated--sometimes you just want a delicious meal without the wait, and they delivered on that front. My only downside is that it's a bit on the pricier side compared to other spots, but I'd say the quality and portion size make it worth it for a special treat or a nice night out.Overall, if you're craving flavorful kabobs and solid Mediterranean food, I'd definitely recommend checking out **Fremont Kabob Restaurant**. I'll definitely be back, even if I have to splurge a little.

We got chicken kebab and chicken koorma. The plates came with rice, side of chickpeas, afghan bread and cucumber+tomato salad. What worked:The chicken kebabs and the chicken in the koorma were delectably amazing. Incredibly soft, beautifully cooked and well flavored. I highly recommend getting their chicken kebabs. The rice was delicious as well, separate grains and again perfectly cooked. They were like pearls. What did not work:The chickpeas came with some very sour watery gravy which also had some bits of potato in it. It was too tart for my personal liking.Having eaten some stellar korma in the past, I was forced to compare it with their take on this iconic dish which unfortunately fell short. It was too tomatoey and there was no richness or finesse in the gravy. The cucumber and tomato salad was limp.

Very much underrated, although the place look a bit outdated compare to most other restaurants, the food is very delicious, the meat I ordered was done on point, it was hot enough to taste without buring my mouth and the season was fantastic.

My first time having afghani food! The place is a cozy space. They have option to get take out or dine in as well. We got the borani badinjon, mantoo, mixed lamb and chicken kebab, and the firni and baklava for dessert. All were super delicious, the firni and baklava were a bit small, but would 100% get everything else again! Definitely worth a visit

Fremont has all the good Afghan restaurants, this Santa Clara outpost was just as good. The ambiance was casual, you order at the front counter and they will bring you the food.Got the usual items: bolani, Korma Chicken, qabili palau. All were excellent: bolani was piping hot and aromatic with delish fillings, Korma chicken with the addictive sauce, qabili palau lamb was juicy, falls off the bone and not gamey at all.

I've been eager to try Fremont Kabob Restaurant and finally had the chance while driving through the area. I placed my order online for the badinjon borani appetizer, beef kabob, and sultani kabob, and was pleased to find everything ready just 10-15 minutes later when I arrived. The meal was enjoyable--the kabobs were freshly made and flavorful, and the eggplant in the badinjon borani was exceptionally tasty. While the dishes were well-prepared and satisfying, they didn't necessarily offer a unique culinary twist that sets similar restaurants apart. Nevertheless, Fremont Kabob provides a reliably good dining experience with efficient service, making it a worthwhile stop for anyone in search of traditional Afghan cuisine.

I've been to both locations. If you come here, don't expect anything fancy, just good food and prompt service. The portions were a bit larger at the location on Mowry, but that was not the only difference. At that location, a server comes to your table, and you get the whole restaurant experience. They serve you Naan and take your drink order, and check in on you. Here you go to a widow, place your order, and then they bring everything out on paper plates. You go grab plastic utensils, and you're ready to dine. Honestly, if I could do it again, I would not eat here. I'd take the food to go and eat comfortably at home with a proper knife and fork. This is a good place for pick up, but I wouldn't waste my time eating in.
