This is a cute bakery located in a quiet downtown area. The bread is delicious and it's good the next day too! Staff is always patient to take the bread orders and to make the fresh juices. I like that they have the bread names in Spanish and English:) This snack hits the spot on any cold night.

I loved visiting Dulcinea!!It's such a cute bakery with a variety of pastries for any mood/craving you're having! Someone helped me super quickly, and was helpful with all of the questions I had. I ordered a guava pastry, a cream-filled one (it didn't have a title card), and a Oaxacan Mocha! The prices were reasonable with a range from $5-7! The space is more of a grab n go, so it doesn't have a bathroom but plenty of seating outside. Also be aware of the limited parking as well!!

This was a great find thanks to Yelp. This looked like Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory but for pan dulce. It all looked yummy and beautiful! I had a hard time deciding, so I picked up a chocolate conch with dulce de leche (yum) and a watermelon bread, which was interesting. The ladies working here were super nice and very pleasant. We did have challenges communicating because I don't speak Spanish, but we managed.

What a beautiful cozy spot! I love their interior and patio area, such a great spot to enjoy your pan dulce and Oaxacan hot chocolate on a cold sunny morning. We went a couple weeks before Christmas and they already had Christmas pan dulce available! They have quite a few baked goods available, and their almond + pecan cookies were soo buttery and soft. The breakfast burrito was really good (9.5/10), and all three of the sauces they offer complemented it so well. It was a perfect breakfast item to share. A worthwhile spot to visit if you're ever in downtown San Jose or need yummy pan dulce.

Granted, I have never been here, but they have come to my work for events and their pastries are always so delicious for Halloween. They had these conchas that were pumpkin shaped. They are always super nice and friendly. I definitely would go.

Came here on a Friday morning. Cars were parked rather haphazardly, which made it difficult to get into a parking space. Line was short, but I was waiting behind a couple of folks who were just waiting for their order. The inside is very small, so it was hard to tell who was actually in line.It was a chalenge deciding what to get. All their baked goods looked so yummy! I went with a few varieties and their Oaxacan tamal. Everything was delicious! I love how fluffy their concha is and that the topping doesn't crumble off at each bite. Ojo de pancha is my favorite pan dulce, and theirs is sooo good. The pastry part is thinner than I'm used to, but the cake part is so soft. I also got cookies which aren't too heavy on the lard.Oaxacan tamales are my favorite kind. I love the banana leaf essence in the masa. Theirs is filled with chicken mole. I had them top it with sour cream and cheese. So good!!! Oh, I also got their Oaxacan coffee. It's slightly sweetened and not acidic. Really good. I like that they offer almond and oat milk at no extra cost too.I docked a star because they don't have prices anywhere. Even though prices are reasonable, people should know item costs before ordering.

This may now be my favorite panadaria in the south bay. We stopped in to get pan to go and ended up staying for lunch. I had the Oaxacan tamal with chicken mole and it was outstanding. One makes a nice snack. Two is very satisfying. My SO had a torta and he enjoyed that as well. In addition, their salsa morita is outstanding. We tried several pan dulce and our favorites were the regular concha, the concha filled with cajeta, the polverone, the beso and the quesadilla salvendorena. All the items we tried were very good though. I'm sure you will find a favorite or five. There's many to choose from!We will definitely be back! Parking was easy since they have their own little lot and the staff is very nice. Pay them a visit!

We were on our way to MACLA and decided to stop by Dulcinea beforehand (we were doing a group tour) and we were all very happy we did! There was an amazing array of baked goods - so many we had a hard time deciding which one to get. I ended up getting the bread pudding which was delicious. I look forward to going back when I'm a little less rushed and trying some other baked goods. Others had the breakfast burrito, pound cake with chocolate frosting, corn bread and everyone said they enjoyed what they ordered.

I love Mexican baked goods, and when I heard about Dulcinea Panaderia, I couldn't wait to try it.The building looks like a converted house, with a small sign on the sidewalk, so it's easy to pass by; there is a small driveway to leads to a parking lot behind the building.Once inside, I saw that they offered tamales, tortas, tacos, quesadillas, and more. I had a torta de pollo, and it was fantastic! They also make a great cafe de olla. There are a few tables out on the deck - it was a greta place to have a good meal while enjoying the smells of fresh basked goods. After eating, I went back inside and bought several bakery items: a concha, novia, empenada de lechesilla. Everything was fantastic, and prices were very reasonable.I'll be returning to Dulcinea Baking many times, I am sure! One note: when I stopped there, the people behind the counter spoke very little English, but they were patient with my broken Spanish.
