"What an amazing experience we had for dinner tonight! Service was incredible, the house made pastas were made to perfection (we tried the pappardelle, rigatoni, and risotto), and the ambiance was warm and inviting. This is a place you come back to over and over again. Definitely a little gem of San Carlos."
"Went in Sunday 5:30 and they were able to accommodate our party of 12. Ordered the Fettuccine Chicken Tequila, as was recommended by our server and asked for it to be made less spicy. It came out perfect! It was quite tasty with just a slight kick to it. Everyone at our table seemed to like what they ordered. Even tasted the pear salad and two desserts - tiramisu and an apple bread pudding served with a scoop of ice cream. All were very good as well. Service was excellent. As we left, it was pretty much a full house. Would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Do you need a quick fix for a slice or perhaps scratch that pasta itch? Rosie's will make it happen for you. The pasta portions are super generous (easily 2 meals for me). The pizza is definitely NY style, thin crisp crust that are large enough to fold and consume with much gusto. The dine-in vide is not NY neighborhood pizza joint though, more of a sports bar vibe. The garlic knots are delish but best eat fresh."
"Pretty much my now go to for hot rice plate. Better than pepper lunch I would say. Garlic Pepper Beef plate is really good if you want some crunch texture into the mix.5/5Cheat day on the Pork Belly plate is mouth watering but you might want to mix it up with extra side of beef because the fattyness of the pork. 5/5OG Beef plate is the classic original. 5/5Pretty hits on the mark every time I come."
"One of the best Italian spots in the area. Service is quick and I haven't had any issues with my orders. Recently had lunch here and got the honey walnut salad with grilled chicken and clam chowder. The salad came with their delicious bread and cheese spread. Getting grilled chicken elevates the salad and highly recommend it. The restaurant has holiday decor. They're selling a variety of panettone by the register."
"Came in Valentine's day lunch because I saw they have special 3 course prix fixe for $65/person all day in OpenTable but when we arrived, was told that it's only for dinner and the chef wasn't willing to accommodate doing it for lunch. Pizza oven wasn't working either so were only left with rigatoni, lasagna, sandwich & burger from lunch menu, which was just significantly trimmed down this week. For some reason, they're willing to offer stuffed branzino and truffled fried mozzarella from dinner menu so we ordered the branzino and rigatoni with meatballs + crispy brussel sprouts. The branzino was super crispy but the sauce kinda ruined the bottom skin crispiness so maybe next time ask for sauce on the side :p Brussel sprouts are also good but the rigatoni is just alright. Also wish the tiramisu we had for dessert have rum for a bit more kick. Tips: You can park at 4th street garage across the street which is free for first 90min"
"Service was great. Food was yummy. We actually didn't get lasagne , got build your own pasta instead. It was very good as you can customize it and add only ingredients you like to it! I got the gnocchi with spinach and mushrooms with red sauce. The portions are quite big, too. And free bread! They have a kids menu, and kids cups! That was a pleasant surprise. Came on a weekend right when it opened so was able to get a table. It's pretty small inside so I imagine it gets pretty busy."

I first discovered Delizie Cucina when I went there for dinner, and I was blown away by the authentic Italian flavors and exceptional service. The experience was so great that I decided to have them cater a meal for my workplace--and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved the food, and the quality was just as amazing as dining in.From perfectly cooked pastas to rich, flavorful sauces, every dish tasted homemade and full of love. On top of that, the customer service is top-notch, making the entire process seamless. Whether you're looking for a cozy date night spot or need catering for an event, I highly recommend Delizie. You won't be disappointed!Thank you!

I ordered from this place for the first time this week and the food was really good! I'm tired of over processed food from restaurants. I could tell that this place makes everything in house. I ordered the wings and garlic knots and they were truly delicious. Also, I'm a ranch girl and their ranch was amazing! Can't wait to order again.

If you're a fan of the OG pepper lunch in Milpitas , then you'll love this place. It offers a variety of sizzling plates and one thing I love is you can customize it how you like. You can even ask for it with Less rice if you are watching your carb intake :). My go-to is their simple ef beef sizzling plate with corn. It comes out perfect every time and I love that the rice gets crispy the longer you let it sit. The place is bright and open and plenty of open space for seating stuff is also friendly and fast.

I almost always order the meat ravioli with meat sauce when I eat here. It's always good, but the last time I ordered it (a couple nights ago) it tasted even better than usual. The ravioli seemed bigger and a different shape (I could be mistaken). Anyway, great ravioli. I do wish they gave you more. I usually end up with lots of leftover meat sauce and no ravioli to go with it. I've tried the meatballs, Italian sausage, and chicken fettuccini Alfredo and wasn't a fan of any of it.

Came here to celebrate my mom & sister's birthday & WOW!! 10/10 food was amazing, drinks delicious, beautiful interior, & our server was the best. She recommended the vodka pasta & it was by far the best pasta I've ever had. My family already can't wait to come back for round 2.

Capri Lasagneria is an adorable and trendy spot that feels like a slice of the Italian island of Capri. The charming decor, complete with playful lemon accents and a movie projector showcasing vintage films, creates a cozy yet stylish atmosphere. My friend and I visited for lunch the day after Christmas, and we were seated promptly in a warm and welcoming environment. The service was excellent--our waitress was attentive, even offering extra cheese for our meals. Plus, the complimentary focaccia was a nice touch!I tried the "Zucchine e Mais" pesto lasagna, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the sweet corn paired with the zucchini. The pesto sauce was creamy and flavorful, making it a unique and delightful dish. My friend went for the classic bolognese lasagna, which was hearty, meaty, and just what you'd expect from a traditional favorite. While the portion sizes were smaller than I'm used to, the quality made up for it to some degree. The lemonade I ordered was perfectly balanced in sweetness, which was a nice complement to the meal.I'd love to return for dinner to explore their wine selection and try building my own pasta. Capri Lasagneria is definitely worth a visit if you're in the Burlingame area!

We tend to order to-go from here, and we always love the vast amount of choices. The chicken parmesan for two is HUGE, and we typically split that among the four of us. We also like their lasagna - so much cheesy goodness. My husband loves the spread that goes on the breadsticks.

"My boss and I came here for lunch one afternoon. The first thing both my boss and I noticed was the aroma, it smelled soooooo good!!! We walked in and it was quiet for a weekday afternoon. We ordered at the cashier then sat down. I got the fetuccine alfredo and they got the baked rigatoni. We sat down and had the food brought out to us in no more than 7-10 minutes. The customer service was very friendly. The cashier and food runner were all very hospitable. We left very happy and very full. The price also didn't really break the bank, granted that we used our corporate cards. Overall; for a small mom and pop pasta restaraunt, it was really good! We'll be back!"
"HIDDEN GEM! Was gonna go to get Japanese ramen but it's so crowded. so I was just scrolling down the street and found Sapore Express. Sapore Express is an absolute gem in San Mateo! The pasta I ordered was bursting with flavor--perfectly al dente with a sauce that was rich, savory, and comforting. The arugula on top added a fresh, peppery touch that tied everything together beautifully. The attention to detail in every dish really stands out, and you can tell that the food is prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. It's rare to find such authentic Italian flavors in such a cozy and unassuming spot.If you're in San Mateo and craving delicious Italian food, Sapore Express is the place to go. I can't wait to return and try more of their menu. Highly recommended for anyone looking for amazing food in a relaxed, welcoming setting!"
"9/7/2023The Pasta Market4546 El Camino RealLos Altos, CA 94022We went there for a weekday lunch. It is located at the corner of the mall at ECR and San Antonio Avenue with parking around the shops. You order and pay at the counter at the RHS and seat yourself in the dining area on the LHS, where your food is brought to you. The ambiance was spartan diner but with real table cloths. We ordered the Fried Calamari, Meat Lasagna and I had the Linguine with Clams. The calamari was a little chewy with a crisp breading and topped with sauteed seasoned minced garlic. I've been searching for a place that features garlic calamari and this is the only place that has it. The flavor is excellent. Wifey was pleased with her Lasagna. My Linguine was more like a soup, it was served in a bowl topped with a generous helping of in shell clams and al dente pasta in a broth, not a sauce. There was even additional clam meat in the broth. It was different and very good.Service was fast and efficient. Portions were above average and an exceptional value. Definitely repeatable."
"Stopped by since we were visiting NorCal from SoCal. This place has impeccable, class A+ customer service, authentic Italian cuisine and we had an AMAZING server; Mateo. Mateo was super busy yet VERY entertaining, efficient and accommodating. The food was OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD AMAZING, AUTHENTIC, FRESH, HOT, GENEROUSLY PORTIONED AND VERY FLAVORFUL! We ordered:1. Chicken Parmigiana: 10+. I would have included pics of our plates, but the aroma was too tempting to wait! Chicken was moist, tender & juicy!2. Pepperoni Pizza: 10+. Crust was cooked with just the right amount of dough and quality, fresh ingredients! This was BEYOND SUPERB! LOVE THEIR CRUST! PIZZA SAUCE ON-POINT!3. FETTUCCINE ALFREDO: 10. I highly recommend ADDING chicken. May be a little more $, but you won't regret it! The pasta is very fresh, tastes fresh and homemade, NOT the kind that's out-of-the-box, either! The sauce is the REAL HERO! SO FLAVORFUL AND EXCITING! NOT an average sauce, or from the bottle! The Alfredo sauce is something unique, like that you would expect from a 5-Star, Michelin List restaurant dining experience. NO LIE!!!What made it an AMAZING and UNFORGETTABLE experience was our server, MATEO! VERY accommodating, accessible and always made sure if we had any questions or how our food was! And all this while being the ONLY SERVER tonight! MATEO has a great personality and definitely gave great food recommendations! We were so GRATEFUL because of him!To sum it all: Class A+ in service, food and a nice menu selection and salacious looking DESSERTS! We were sooo STUFT with our main courses that we did not have enough space for a delectable Italian dessert! ALL I CAN SAY: NEXT TIME!"
"- Reminds me of Costco combo pizza- flavors are great, lots of toppings- not thin not thick slices- the crust is bready- their wings are great- only ordered over the phone and had picked up- they also deliver depending on your location. So definitely call and ask!- inside a plaza with parking"
"The pizza by the slice variety are a good deal and great size for the location and they heat it up in the oven. Not overly salty and a bit sweet on the sauce so a good change of pace"
"Food was so good! Came here one night on Valentine's because everything was packed and needed a reservation. I didn't realize this place was here and so glad I found it. We wanted to sample a bit of the menu so we got a few things like gnocchi, tortellini, cheesy bread, clam chowder and cannelloni. I couldn't get enough of the sauces and even ordered another cheesy bread to sop it up! Seems like this place has a lot of to-go orders so there's plenty of space to stop in for a bite! The staff is very friendly and made us feel welcome.Needless to say I've been ordering from here regularly since! The chowder is perfect for those cold South SF nights. The Rosemarino was pretty delicious as well!"
"Super cute parklet and dog-friendly! Great customer service too! The pups got a complimentary meatball and a bowl of water! I love that they have a blanket on all of the chairs and heated lamps. You get free focaccia bread too! Make sure to check in on Yelp for a complimentary tiramisu! I'm not usually a big fan of Italian food, but this made me enjoy it so much! Everything we ordered was not overly oily, cheesy, or dry!ORDER:Margherita Pizza - added some Italian sausage! So tasty, I love that you can taste it's from a traditional oven. It is nice and chewy, not too cheesy and tastes very fresh.Boscaiola Pasta - was nice and juicy! We got it with the pink sauce (a mixture of tomato + cream), I liked that it wasn't cheesy or too tomatoey! Pasta could be a little softer/thinner, Italian sausage was so GOOD! Focaccia bread - great flavor, not too oily or dry! Best bread I've had at an Italian restaurant!Tiramisu - Just the right amount of cake, not too sweet or overpowering! Mostly cream, a little hint of hazelnut towards the bottom which finished it off well!Cocktails: really solid! La Passione - couldn't taste that much vodka, it felt more like a refreshing juice to me, but that's probably because I'm so used to drinking vodka, but still a great drink! Sweet Heart - can taste the alcohol more than the La Passione, not overly sweet, refreshing! The little heart stick was cute!Overall, would come back again! :)"
"Amazing pizza served by really friendly people! We came here to try something new outside the mall and Tony & Alba's is a promising option. There's baker racks by entrance with games you can enjoy while you wait for food and I think some of their own merchandise. This is great for when you have kids as it kept my daughter busy the entire time! The owner is so friendly and they run "government surveys" which this month was just asking kids if they like chocolate chip cookies. So much community going on here as well in their condiments area they also feature peppers from a member of the community. Ambiance aside we only tried pizzas and a salad here. We got the a la garlic with pineapple which I thought was great with the jalapeños and juicy pineapple pieces. My daughter loves pepperoni pizza and so we got her slices of it."
