"Drinks: THE SIZE FOR $6 IS SOO WORTH!! I'm so used to boba costing almost $10 for the same size!! Reasonable price and fast!! Next time I have to try their snacks! The cookies looked so big and good!!Service/Ambiance: I think it was the owner working when I went, but whoever she was, she was so nicee!! I saw a lady accidentally spilled her drink and she offered to remake it for free. And I thought my milk tea came with boba and she offered to remake it too!! Super friendly customer service!!"
"One of the best chicken sandwiches, I ever had. I got the medium spice level with hot honey. The chicken had a great level of spiciness, super crispy from the outside and very moist from the inside. The portion size is huge, good enough for 2 meals. With the addition of hot honey, it takes you to a different world of food bliss. We also got fries and coleslaw. Both were nice and tasty but portions were small and can be better for those too as the sandwich."

"Let me paint the picture here. It starts on a Thursday afternoon-almost-evening in downtown San Mateo. Naturally, I've been drinking at Barrel Bistro, also recommended. A smoked old-fashioned or two-maybe-three since you asked. No judgement. I'm off on Fridays, and don't be jelly.Anyway, suddenly buzzed and ravenous, I stumble into the nearest Indian restaurant and ask for a tikka masala prepared "extra-extra-extra-extra-not-White-guy-hot." Oh. I should note that I'm offensively White. Like, dude-bro Silicon Valley douche-supreme White. I can't help it, people. Born this way. The result of being so cliche White, other than being instantaneously punchable, is that nobody believes I'm also addicted to XXX anus-melting spicy foods. I am. To the point that I've been to the ER a time or two because my mouth wrote checks my stomach absolutely could not cash.Okay, back on track here. The gentleman at Clay Oven questions my seriousness. I reassure him. And off he goes to see that my order is prepared as asked. I'm happy to report that despite my overwhelming Whiteness--again, usually resulting in a 70% debuff or more in spiciness--this plate comes out dark red like nuclear molten lava, and I've no doubt the same Mordor fire will be melting San Mateo plumbing systems at some point soon.So if you legit like spicy foods, I highly recommend the tikka masala assuming you also ask for it extra-extra-extra-extra-not-White-guy hot. Also, as tikka masala is not typically the spiciest of dishes, I can only surmise that other offerings will be even spicier should you ask for themButter naan also good.Thumbs up to all spicy fanatics."
"Tried a half order of Crunch Fried Chicken and a half order of Garlic Chicken, to go. We opted for a combination of wings and drumsticks (both drumettes and full size drumsticks are included). The two half orders were enough to feed 3 of us. The chicken was moist and plump on the inside, and nice and crunchy on the outside. After eating the very flavorful garlic chicken, the crunch chicken seemed a tad bland, so if you get an assortment I recommend eating the crunch chicken first. We took our food to go, so did not experience the dining room, which looked small but tidy. This is a great version of Korean fried chicken in Fremont."
"It's our usual place. Xoi Ga Ro Ti is perfectly crispy, adding great texture and flavor to the meal. Banh Canh Ga is equally delicious, with a savory broth that's rich and comforting. A fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese Pho Ga foods !"
"I was doing my nails next door and wanted to grab some food from here after my nails were done..came in after and ordered a couple things..Service 5/5Drinks 5/5Chicken Pad Thai 2/5 Popcorn chicken 3/5Fried chicken skin 3/5 I wish I could give this place a higher rating..The french toast milk tea tastes exactly like the cinnamon toast crunch milk after eating all the cereal..What a wonderful blast from the past..reminds me of my childhood hood!!! Yummy!!! 5/5!!! I also got the lychee soda pop which is basically fizzy lychee soda..also 5/5!!! Very good and sweet!!!Let's move on to the pad thai..I really wanted to like the pad thai..it looked really good when I opened the box..but it lacked so much flavor. The portions were great..lots of noodles and chicken..but it was very bland. 2/5Their popcorn chicken laab style and fried chicken skin was pretty good when it was hot and fresh. When I was driving home and picking at the popcorn chicken and fried chicken skin it was delicious..but after leave it for 30 minutes..it lost flavor. I don't mind if it looses crunch because fried food looses crunch after it has been left out..but it lost flavor..These two items went from good to bland..Going to give these 2 items a 3/5.Still undecided if I want to give this place another try. The drinks were just so good..and the pad thai here has good reviews..maybe it was just an off day for the chief? Unsure..but if I do come back and have a better experience I will update this review."
"I have been coming here since I was a little girl. Started off at the other location. Was so happy when they moved to this location, which was literally around the corner from where I lived. The owner knew of my family since we would frequent this place, especially after church. She would always ask about my brother, which I think is so thoughtful.I love, love, loooooveee their chicken fried rice. I would always get it as a kid, and will continue to order it. It has always been so flavorful, huge chunks of chicken which I've never experienced elsewhere.I love their beef & broccoli.Took my husband here for the first time since he's been in California, and he loves their sesame chicken."
"So far I've only tried their chicken chop salad and Thai chicken salad and both have been delicious. The chicken chop salad is perfect for those who are looking for a more refreshing and lighter flavor. As for the Thai chicken salad, the dressing is definitely a lot more flavorful so maybe start with only adding half of each container first before proceeding to add more. The Thai chicken salad has a fish sauce like flavor and definitely tastes more like a Thai dish and even has a little kick to it. Both salads were very generous in serving size and the chicken was moist and delicious. The restaurant is fairly spacious and has a good amount of seating. They have a parking lot behind their store within the building and both times that I've been there, finding a spot was not hard at all."
"Tasty hat yai (fried chicken) meal! I went with the 2 piece combo with papaya salad and roti. Fresh and flavorful. Great crunch on the fried chicken. Nice assortment of dipping sauces. My partner ordered the hat yai box with curry sauce, roti, and rice so I got to dip my roti (curry sauce not included with the papaya salad combo). Quick serve environment: order on a tablet and pick up at the counter. Outside seating only. Perfect for takeout or a casual meal."
"Always a delicious burger from Woodside Roadhouse. They have perfected the Smash Burgers.Ambiance is chill, no frills. Outdoor seating in front on Woodside is noisy, but still nice on a warm sunny day."

The price for my drink already includes tax. Crazy. Will definitely come again! Also, nice decorations and the sofa by the wall was fun to sit in.

Ordered food from Love Burn wow bowling with some friends. Love Burn is located inside Hometown Bowl And can be ordered a couple different different ways, including to go, dine in as they have a couple chairs, or during bowling if the alleys are open. We were bowling and it was very easy to walk right over to the restaurant and order through a kiosk, which will then alert your phone when the order is ready.I've always enjoyed Love Burn and think that they fry their chicken incredibly well. I typically opt for a chicken sandwich, but this time I ordered tenders with onion rings. The chicken for tenders were fried perfectly with a golden crispy exterior and hot, juicy interior meat. Love Burn known for their spice with levels including spice to level four. I don't do spicy well, so I got no spice, But the chicken was still flavorful with regular seasoning. The onion rings were crispy nicely with the house ranch. Definitely one of my favorite fried chicken spots the place I find to be a gem.

Best fried chicken in the Bay Area, hands down! Delicious!! it doesn't even need sauce, but the spicy sauce on the side is incredibly good.

Let's preface this review by saying I was intending to go to the place next door (BBH An Nam) but came here instead for whatever reason. That reason does not matter, however (maybe I was annoyed with the parking situation and did not read the signage correctly, since both restaurants have An Nam in their name). I originally came to compare the BBH with Hue Restaurant on Silver Creek. Regardless, this place stands alone as a top-notch place for BBH.I did not even realize I went to the wrong place in the first place as I was hit with the strong aroma of BBH broth as soon as I stepped inside. It was extremely packed, and almost everyone dining was Vietnamese (I was in little Saigon after all). I got lucky though with my timing and managed to grab a table pretty quickly, and a corner one at that. It was pretty loud inside with lots of conversation, but there was music playing, and I didn't care about the various sounds, as I was there for the food. Apparently this establishment is known for their chicken dishes, but quite frankly, many people were ordering BBH, as did I. I chose the large as I was very hungry and I was craaaaving BBH. It did not take long for my steaming bowl to arrive to my table. I immediately asked for a side of chili oil and shrimp paste, which I always love to add to my BBH. I first tried the broth and it was so good and had great depth of flavor. I can only imagine how the place next door tastes (will for sure go to the right place next time, haha). I added the shrimp paste and chili oil to dress it up even more. I was exceptionally pleased to find the banana blossoms as part of the veggies, since most restaurants do not offer them. The various meats were tender and I loved the large pieces of cha lua. I did not get any pork knuckle in my bowl but the amount of other meats and the delicious broth made up for it. In the middle of my meal, I asked for extra lemons, which were quickly brought to my table. I love adding extra lemon juice to my broth to cut the funkiness of the broth. The noodles were perfectly cooked as well and 10/10 slurpable. Personally, the large size was just fine for me, but if I weren't as hungry, I would have gone for the small. However, the difference in cost for the sizes is only $1, so why get the small if you can get the large anyway. I could see me sharing this bowl with my husband as well if we wanted to have other dishes on the side. I did see other people sharing lots of food, so I'm sure it's possible. Is this the best BBH I've had? Besides this one place in south Sacramento that serves BBH in a stone pot, I'd say so. I now cannot wait to try BBH An Nam next door, as I've seen reviews about it being even better than this place. However, I'll be the judge the next time I go. I'd love to bring my husband here to experience the BBH!

Food here is fresh and has good flavor! We ordered Khao Man Gai, Fried Chicken Skin, Roti with Penang Curry, popcorn chicken, and Thai tea. All were hits for us. We ordered Togo since we had a bit of a drive home, but everything came burning hot and traveled well. Chicken skin and popcorn chicken didn't even make it home since we ate it along the way. The Thai tea wasn't too sweet, which we all know is a compliment when it comes to Asian food. Still had the tea flavor and wasn't washed away from too much milk. I would recommend this place and will be sure to come back to order again!

2024 is coming to an end which means it's time to clear those drafts that's been sitting there waiting to be posted. Ahahaha. I've been here a couple times now and all I can think about is their Elote Chop Salad. It is SOOO GOOD. Perfect ratio of everything like their chicken, tortilla strips, corn, and veggies. The sauce that comes with it is chefs kiss. (I usually ask for the tortilla strips and chicken on the side so it doesn't get soggy on my way home.) Idk if it's a limited item but if they removed this, I would be so devastated. I also love their Truffle fries. They do not skimp on the truffle seasoning. It goes well with the truffle aioli too which you can select from choice of sauce. I usually order in the app and it's ready within minutes. There's also a couple of kiosks in the front. There's a lot of table and seating. There's also a parking lot right behind the restaurant which makes it super easy for pick up orders, but sometimes it does get full during busier hours.12.08.2024 | Sunday @5:30pm

"A solid place to have some spicy & flavorful wings. The service was quick & easy to order through the kiosk tab. With the draft beers on the side its a wholesome experience. Will be back again soon."
"Food is a good price and really tasty! Inside is nice and clean and the workers hooked it up!"
"Visited on a Monday evening, and the place wasn't too busy during the last hour of business. Parking was easy to find directly in front of the entrance. The interior of the restaurant was clean and casual, with wooden flooring and lovely artwork decorating the walls. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff was friendly and provided immediate service, no wait to order. However, they accidentally mixed up my order with another customer. The staff was apologetic and fixed the error promptly, but I ended up having to wait 30+ minutes for my correct order. I wasn't in a hurry, so not a big deal, but still worth noting. Got the chicken thigh and catfish a la carte, as well as a couple honey butter biscuits. Omg, the fish and chicken were both so juicy and tender, and full of flavor. I loved the biscuits even more, fluffy and buttery, and so satisfying. The food was just fantastic! So although my recent experience here wasn't perfect, I would definitely return, especially for more of those biscuits :D"
"It had been a while since we had come to this spot, and we weren't even sure when it made the transition from Chez Sovan. It was right around 6:15 and we were the first ones in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the construction across the street plus on one of the neighboring sides didn't make it easy to spot this place. We told the owner that hopefully once the apartments were done, they'd get more traffic flow, but the owner said the neighboring complex was a senior care home. We tried ordered the tried and true amok, the loc lac salad with beef, the tamarind garlic wings, and a bowl of rice. The wings came out first, loved the crunch on them, but there were some parts that were a little more tamarind-sour that made me pucker just a bit. The loc lac salad was yummy, had a nice sweet tang, and was easy to eat. From a texture perspective, I liked the large pieces of cooked onions and green beans. The amok was pretty good, tender, coconutty, and I liked that there were veggies cooked with it too. Service was nice and friendly, and eventually a few more patrons joined us and made the ambiance a bit more lively. I did try to order the mango sticky rice, but the owner said since mangos weren't in season, they were not serving it, which made total sense. I wish them all the success, and hope they can continue where Chez Sovan left off."
"I've been wanting to try this place out since they opened their first location on Brokaw Road in San Jose many years ago. When they opened this location off of McKee Road, I realized how close it was to my beloved 111 Bakery which is also in the same plaza as Bobaholics. The outside looks a bit rough with a banner for their store logo but I quickly learned judging a book by its cover can backfire. In this case, it sure did. Inside, the layout is inviting with ample seating along with a spacious area for self-ordering and for picking up drinks. It is aesthetically pleasing inside with modern fixtures and has social media friendly photo op areas too. I had heard the Creme Brulee Lattee with boba was the "it" drink here so I wanted to find out if that was true or if it was all hype. I ordered a large drink with extra sugar and added boba pearls with light ice. It came out rather quickly and when I drank it, I immediately thought of a brown sugar milk tea. It had fresh milk, chewy boba pearls, and it felt like some clusters of sugar to emulate the creme brulee. I would definitely order this drink again but would be fine without the extra sugar clusters. I do plan to come back here to try out other drinks and perhaps even their snacks!"
"I came in to H mart with my friends to check out the food court. It was very crowded with all the tables basically taken. They have seats to eat in for people eating there and the restaurants surrounding. It is good that they have. A system that calls out where the food you ordered came from and a number is on the screen. When I saw the Chicken Wing place, I was gravitated to order their Ginger and Honey Wings. I asked the cashier which one was best or she liked and she said it depends on your taste on whether you like it dried or with sauce. I opted for with sauce which was the 8 wings for $16.99. It was pricey for the amount of wings but it was a good amount when I saw it. It was piping hot when I got it. But when I tasted it I was a disappointed because the flavor was there and tender but the wings were not crunchy. If they were, it would have been a good crunchy fried chicken.I am not sure if I would come back to buy the chicken."
"The food here is delicious! I really appreciate the staff, especially since they stay open so late. I got the angryhotchicken fries and it was really good. The food was piping hot, the chicken was juicy, and the mac n cheese was creamy. The portions were big, as I got this to share with others. The store isn't super big but does have seating available. The parking isn't too bad either, as it's in the same plaza as 7leaves. Highly recommend this spot for late night cravings!"
"Solid 4.5 for eat in! Good and fast service. Crispy chicken is the star. The kimbap is pretty good. I wished they have options for kimbap. Ramen is a skip. Every time I'm here it is empty. Mostly take out or delivery. I can't imagine crispy chicken stays that crispy after a car ride."
"I did not know what to think of Chicken Paddy. I just noticed it randomly pop up on Doordash and decided to order it because everything sounded really good. I went to the ghost kitchen located in North San Jose by the airport to pick up my order. I have been in love ever since. I have tried 3 of their entrees and each one has been absolutely fantastic. The high price is totally worth it because the portions are big and the food is practically gourmet. You get what you paid for and you'll have enough for lunch and dinner.I have tried, the chicken tika masala, the mushroom chicken and the soy garlic chicken. Let me first start off by saying, the Korean cream corn is probably the best corn I ever had. I kept on saying wow for every bite. I think I will order a side or 2 of them tomorrow because I can't stop thinking about it. All of the sauces for each dish has so much flavor and all of the vegetables are sauteed with some kind of spice or sauce and has so much flavor to them. I look forward to trying more of the bowls and the drinks as well. Thank you Chicken Paddy for coming into my life and hopefully you can stay around for a long time!FYI, you can order it through Uber Eats and 949rufffood.com, the ghost kitchen."
"3.5 stars. I really wanted to like this place, but the chicken was so so so dry. I got the mild pepper, but didn't love the mala taste. The rice was decent and there were both napa cabbage and broccoli. I did like the 1/2 egg they added. Main entree chicken katsu was just too dry for my liking. It was tough to cut through and felt like jerky. May try the drinks next time, but will pass on the chicken."
"First time ordering food here and we ordered a 25 pieces combo meal. We chose corn salad, coleslaw, 2 french fries and plantains. We picked up the food at a digital kitchen on ruff drive. The chicken smelled and looked good, but it was not crispy. It had good flavor tough but it just wasn't crispy. The corn salad was good, and it came with diced peppers and feta cheese. The coleslaw was okay, it tasted like regular coleslaw with no special flavors or ingredients. The french fries had good flavor but it also was not crispy and soggy. The plantains were decent, but it was not fried and a little greasy. Overall, the food was decent and I would give it another try since I've heard good reviews."
"This place was surprisingly really good. All items on menu come with a set of rice, potato side dish, rice, and the choice of entree. The food came out steaming hot and fresh. They gave a lot of eggplant and the eggplant had so much flavor; it went really well with rice. The braised chicken was super flavorful as well AND it was juicy. For ~$15, it was worth for the amount of food you get. When I went, I was the only person who dined in but I saw a lot of deliveries and I think it's a perfect meal if you're looking for some homemade style chinese food."
"I've been wanting to try "gas station chicken" and finally stopped by. The young gentleman who helped me was very nice. I wanted 4 tenders, 1 chicken breast and mashed potatoes and gravy. He said they were out of mashed potatoes and gravy, but they would be ready in 20 minutes if I wanted to wait. I declined to wait. He said he would give me some extra pieces for the trouble. That was nice of him. I didn't ask for it. I ended up getting extra biscuits. The chicken was very good. Hot, fresh, moist and the seasoning has a nice little kick to it. I preferred the breast over the tenders since there is more meat and less crust. The honey biscuits were delicious. I also did some research and this really isn't "gas station chicken" since the company started 3 years ago as a food truck and they are now a franchise opening in stores, in this case a gas station. I hope they succeed."
"The other day I ordered the "Flipped Chicken" entree from the Proposition Chicken (Prop C) menu at Local Kitchens in Campbell. I picked up my own food, so it was hot and fresh from the kitchen. The food was tasty, and the chicken was moist and juicy. The buttermilk biscuit was a little hard, so I zapped it in the microwave when I got home. The tomato/cucumber salad was spicy and fresh. Okay, the entree is supposed to be leg, thigh, and half a breast. My chicken pieces were slightly smaller, so they gave me 2 pieces.....leg/thigh and breast/wing. Realistically, it's half a chicken, and I shouldn't complain. But technically it's not correct. A great roast chicken meal at a fair price."
"Super tasty, crisp and juicy chicken 5 starPrice 4 star Service was prompt and friendly Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a tasty chicken meal."
"Chicken is always good here. We got the crispy (half order), japchae, fried rice cake and rose tteokbokki (not pictured). Service was pretty fast since not that many people. They have a ramen bar if you're into that. Clean and small location."
