"Charlie is such a gem! Absolutely delicious cheesecakes, cannot wait to share these with our friends! Charlie is so kind and cheerful, I'm happy to support a business like his!"
"We ordered cupcakes for my kids' birthday party. The whole process was completed via email, quick and straight forward. The cupcakes came out as expected. The frosting to cake ratio was a bit more than I remembered but didn't stop anyone from consuming it all. Overall it's a good go to if you need some decent cupcakes last minute."

"My SO wanted to stop by this quaint bakery to get me a birthday cake. He got the mango mousse cake and it is so beautiful, I loved the way they decorated the cake and it was so soft, fluffy and not sweet--which is my ideal taste for desserts. I ate practically a 1/3rd of the cake haha. Some friends also got some cookies and those were tasty as well. They had nice textures and consistencies and were lightly flavored since I am someone that typically avoids cookies."
"Expensive, but out-of-this-world delicious pastries, cakes, and of course coffee.Nice outdoor seating, cheerful service."
"My friend Jinsol and I came to Esther's Kitchen for some brunch a number of years ago. She was Korean and we had Korean food places closer to where we both lived in Albany. Trying to find a place for one of my ethnicities, I found Esther's Kitchen as a place offering German food. Inquiring if she would be interested in trying it out, she said yes, so we tried it out.On our visit, she was particularly spellbound by the bakery offerings, including bread, that was rapidly dwindling with a long line of eager customers snatching it all up. We opted for in-restaurant dining, each going with a plate meal. My order was a Bavarian breakfast (yes I even have ancestors who hailed from Bavaria), which consisted of poached sausages (weisswurst), pretzel, sweet mustard, and radish. I found the items tasty and well-executed, enjoying the adventure of figuring out what order to eat the items in/how to eat the items. She thought it was different, in a good way. Workers were professional and quick in our interactions."
"This is such a great spot to have a quick bite and get your morning coffee! I really enjoy their outdoor tables and the dining space here. I love grabbing a book to read sitting outside because they have lots of tables available. Their salmon crepe is my favorite here, and I love how soft their crepe batter is. The iced vanilla soy latte is my go-to here, and everything tastes delicious."
"This is my go to spot for a little post dinner dessert. They have the best cakes! The mango mousse and pistachio mousse is SO good. My family and I love ordering one of their mousse's and enjoying it after dinner. It has the perfect touch of sweetness without being overwhelmingly sweet. They sell them by the slice then have two other options for a full sized cake. Can't recommend it enough!"
"My family and I were walking around Stanford Shopping Center one weekend morning when my mom wanted a snack. My family loves pastries and we saw a line for La Baguette, so we went inside to see for ourselves. The inside of the store is too compact for seating, but you will see a good amount of tables, chairs, and umbrellas just outside the store in the middle of the large walking space. La Baguette had two large displays, one with cakes and cake slices, another with the baked goods and a few sandwiches. We paid at the counter and asked for our croissants to be heated, so we were given a number and instructed to wait outside for our order to be called. We bought two croissants, one plain and one filled with ham and cheese. Both were ginormous and thus perfect to split among four people. The staff conveniently split them in half without us asking. They were sooooo crispy and flaky that they're impossible to eat without getting crumbs all over. The texture inside was really soft, not the generally dense texture my average croissants are from all the butter. We had a good amount of ham and cheese in ours, and you get a thin layer of cheese crust on top of the croissant itself. Overall, La Baguette is a great pit stop for our morning in the area. I thought about getting the sandwiches, but they looked heavy on the bread and light on the filling. I will probably stick to their croissants!"
"Very cute cafe in a very simple-looking strip mall. Coffee shop-esque with lots of trendy decor and plants. Very kid-friendly with little toys and a small play corner. Prices seemed a bit high, but everything was good. Pastries were yummy and they have a good assortment of coffee drinks. Presentation of everything was really nice."
"Great cookies! Loved the gingerbread, good spice and chewy. Definitely on the pricier side."
"Easy to orderFast Courteous Delicious Perfect level of sweetness We will be back!"
"This place is under new management and from what I'd been able to try today, I'll be coming back regularly.Their tomato soup was a stand out. It wasn't overpowered by cream or other flavors. Smooth texture, great flavor and I just wish I'd ordered a grilled cheese to go with it.The Brie & Honey Ham on a croisant was very good as well. All of the ingredients went well together and blended into the perfect bite till the sandwich was gone. There's a selection of locally made sodas that didn't have all kinds of weird ingredients. I was able to try the rootbeer and cherry/tarragon flavors and I wasn't disappointed.Local hard ciders are also available if you are looking to get a little tipsy during lunch."

Saw place from a close by parking lot and decided we had to stop in to look at the cupcakes. It was nice to see different flavors that I don't normally see at cupcake places. My friend and I were intrigued by the rose velvet but I ended up getting guava delight and she got the raspberry lemon cooler. We both enjoyed the cupcakes they were super moist and flavorful and cheaper than some of the cupcake chains.I also got a chocolate chip cookie that I really liked.

When you first enter, there's the beautiful display case of cakes -- look to your left for hidden gems: cookies. We enjoyed the mango cake and napoleon, but instead of celebration treats, I want to highlight the cookies that pair perfectly with cozy tea on a cold morning. As a reference, if cakes are 100% sweetness level, these cookies are 15-25% sweet.Ali was friendly and considerate in selecting and recommending a variety of cookies. His service is the best I've ever received at a bakery :)My favorites were the apricot and raspberry butter cookies that have wonderful airy crumb, the delicately thin raisin cookie, the unique textured almond cookie, and the sugar twist cookie (didn't note the exact name).

BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE EVER!! We recently used Fleur de Cocoa for my client's event. This bakery was suggested by the birthday girl's BFF (it was a surprise party). I called in to get pricing information and to start the order. We ordered their signature Fleur de Cocoa cake (30 servings) and 60 Petit Fours. Being that I wasn't familiar with the bakery, the gentleman I spoke to (I believe his name was Max), was Super helpful in offering some guidance with selecting the Petit Fours. On the day of the event, the desserts were ready at the time specified, and were boxed up beautifully. When the cake and desserts were revealed, we were all left in awe! Seriously, the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted! I'm excited to share this bakery with new clients, friends and family. Thank you Fleur de Cocoa!

Esther's is a Los Altos staple! I've been coming here for nearly a decade and the bratwurst is always fantastic. Fun ambiance as a little German cafe, and the staff are always friendly. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick bite to eat.

Great place to have coffee or lunch. Had a café latte with oat milk. Very good ! Also, ordered pastries which were delicious too. What makes Douce France Cafe so special is the whole package. You have good food, inside or outside sitting areas, and boutique shopping afterwards. Service is good but it can get crowded most of the time. It is a popular local spot ! This is my wife and I's local go to for a morning breakfast and shopping. If you are thinking of lunch, they have a good array of options but more cafè style then restaurant style. Depending on the day and time you should be prepared to not find a table. Keep this in mind so when a table becomes available, you might want to have your friend or family member sit while you place the order. Outside of this, prices are reasonable and ambiance is like a local Paris cafè !

Take a stroll down Paseo de San Antonio and stop by Bijan Bakery right before the historial table art installation. The bakery has many selections of delicious baked sweet goods. I don't think it's possible to just select one, hence why I left with a whole big box in a cute bag! The staff is friendly and welcoming. I didn't feel rushed to order. The location has a very chill ambience with indoor/ outdoor seating. Lots of big windows to see outside and it's also quiet enough to study or get some work done. Would definitely return!

This is a tiny little shop that's just big enough for a small handful of customers. Service could have been better, with long lines it seems there isn't a need to work at a quicker pace but maybe that is part of the experience. 5 stars for the jalapeño bread! It looks like a giant bagel but sort of stretch out so you get more surface area for toppings. I got this warmed up and it was served in a little pizza box sliced into strips instead of triangles. This was AMAZING when warm. Not a bad price for around $8 it was like a meal. Cheese was good ans jalapeños were big. Loved it!!! Would definitely buy again. If you like jalapeño cheese bagels this is definitely going to be a new favorite.

"Work lunch on a Thursday for colleague's birthday.Love that the garlic naan is still piping warm and the aroma of this entree is amazing. I love all kinds of Indian food. Today I stepped into something different for my palette and the amount of spice is quite spicy but I love it. As I'm writing I'm devouring and biting into the corn kofta is soft, I can taste the bits and pieces of the ingredients of corn and they give you huge pieces. I like that they don't skimp. This blows my brain, the spiciness. lol. I love it. I can't wait to try more dishes from Passage of India. I love spinach and this hit the spot for me.Thank you, "I'll be back"!"
"Amazing place to get your bootload of beer. Nice beergarden style for someplace in downtown Mountain View, I love the staff and the variety of beers offered. Only complaint is that there is just a single bathroom, for a beergarden style restaurant that's not enough when there's a crowd."
"Usually the sign of a long line means for a bakery means great food and they did not disappoint. I think I've tried almost everything here at this point, the demi baguette, country loaves, focaccia, croissants, etc. You literally cannot go wrong with anything. Above all, the fresh focaccia is a must-try. Some might not call the focaccia as it is, and I would partially agree with that. It's more like a Detroit-style pizza with all the extra toppings they have.Don't be daunted by the lines!! Definitely worth a visit."
"The bagels were fresh and delicious but the cream cheese spreads were only ok. We had veg cream cheese and strawberry cream cheese, everything bagel and egg sandwich with Asiago cheese bagel. We also had Black Kona coffee which was good. And Mocha which was very watered down."
"It's all about supply and demand.I stopped in before noon on a Saturday and there was only one kouign amann left...an XL for a whopping $35 plus a 4% surcharge.Did I bite the bullet? Yes siree! I surely did after hesitating for a quick second.Buttery, caramel-y, and just straight up heavenly. Was it worth the price tag, the calories, and elevated A1Cs? I'd say so. I would love to get my hands on the smaller ones though since this XL that was as big as my head was quite gluttonous for just two of us."
"Such a cute spot in San Mateo!! Their piroshkis and empanadas were the perfect and tasty snack for my daughter and I. We paired them with an iced Mocha and their iced Matcha latte."
"When my dad said he wanted apple pie for his birthday this year, I knew I had to check out Niles Pie Company. I had already been introduced to their blueberry crumble at my friend's house so I knew I would be in for a treat. When I got there on Saturday morning, the only "apple" pie that they had was a 6 inch caramel apple. Since it was a little over a week post Thanksgiving, they were still ramping up their pie production. They did however have a frozen classic apple pie that I could bake at home. In the end, I decided on three 6-inch pies: caramel apple, classic apple, and the blueberry crumble. All three were outstanding...my brother in law who typically does not eat sweets really enjoyed the blueberry crumble. He found it not overly sweet which we all agreed. My dad enjoyed both the caramel and the classic apple but surprisingly the classic was probably mine and my husband's favorite. I wasn't sure how the frozen pie was going to bake off in my humble home oven but it worked out fine. My oven though must run a little low because it did take longer than the instructions. Since it was my first visit, I also got a free cookie. If you are in the area, this is worth the visit. They have other bakery items and empanadas if you are not in the mood for pie. I had the ham and swiss empanada for breakfast and it was delicious. The Niles Pie Company operates under a co-op model. It is clear they take great care and pride in their work and it shows in their baked goods."
"Long time customer of Country Inn Cafe and am finally getting around to writing a review :) The restaurant staff are absolutely lovely and the food is good! My fav is the breakfast burrito. My bf is an avid pancake lover and says Country Inn makes the best pancakes he's ever had!"
"Ordered a cake 3 days ahead and got a confirmation email. Arrived day/time of pick up, only to be told the cake was never made and not in season. They offered to pick something else, however I ordered a specific cake and now it's too late to order from a different bakery. I had no choice but to pick a cake that was leftover end of day."
"Thank you MR. KI you are a life saver to me. It was my daughter's 2nd birthday and I was not aware of any bakery out here who would bake customize cake, then luckily I found your bakery. I was bit confused and skeptical regarding my order for the birthday cake. The cake was soo amazing and it tasted so good that all of my guests even took name and address of your bakery."
"This small shop has a great variety of products, but what I like are the cakes. They've mastered making their cakes not too sweet. The cakes are all very light, decorated well and can feed a lot of people. Full cakes are $48 each."
"Really tasty food! The chole bhature was especially good! Highly recommend.Enjoyed the tawa chicken too."
"I have ordered cakes from here a couple of times! Recently ordered the mango cake and it was delicious. Absolutely soft and moist and not too sweet."
"If you're craving a cookie, Crumbl Cookies in Milpitas is a spot you can't miss! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly baked cookies fills the air, giving you that instant "I need this" feeling. With their rotating weekly menu, there's always something new to try, and the unique flavors keep things exciting. On my latest visit, I opted for three small cookies--the Lemon, Snickerdoodle, and a cookie with Chocolate frosting. The Lemon cookie was the standout with its refreshing citrusy flavor and just the right amount of tart glaze. The Snickerdoodle was a close second with the soft, perfectly spiced, and cinnamon-packed. And the chocolate-frosted cookie? Pure indulgence! It was super rich, decadent, and came out warm and gooey, making it a chocolate lover's dream. One of the best parts about Crumbl is that the cookies come out hot and fresh, which takes the experience to a whole new level. There's nothing like biting into a warm cookie that's just been baked. That said, be ready for a bit of a sticker shock. At about $2 per small cookie, they're definitely on the pricier side, but I think it's worth it for the quality and size.If you're looking for a specialty cookie that's sure to satisfy your sweet tooth, Crumbl is the place to be--it never disappoints!"
"This cute little bakery shop located on State Street in Downtown Las Altos makes the best monkey bread in the entire Bay Area! What is monkey bread you ask? Imagine a kouign amann on steroids! More buttery. More sugary. It's crispy and flaky on the outside and moist and soft on the inside. Each piece of the monkey bread breaks off into little small bite sized nuggets covered in the perfect mix of caramelized butter and sugar. Pop one in your mouth and be ready to be in pastry heaven. If you're coming on a weekend, be sure to show up early as they sell out quickly!"
"This is such a cute little bakery with the nicest women running the shop! went gluten free a few months ago and I've been struggling to find gluten free dessert options that actually taste good. This bakery has some great gluten free options! I've tried their macarons on a previous visit, but that first time I came they were sold out of the other gluten free pastries because they were sold popular. This time I was able to snag one of the lemon merengue tarts and a red berry marscapone cake. I'm saving the red berry cake to eat for Valentine's Day tomorrow, but I couldn't wait to dig into the lemon meringue tart. It's sweet, tangy, and the fluffy meringue balances it all out very well. I will definitely be back"
"This is one of the few comfort food Coffee Shop Restaurants around. I celebrated my birthday there today in the early afternoon. Carlos was our server and could have not been more helpful. He navigated 6 adults and two young children with ease making sure everyone's order was correct when they came out.Flames has quite an extensive menu, giving you a choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices are still reasonable , no surcharge for egg even during the bird flu, nice kid's menu,Carlos made food suggestions and made sure everyone received just what they ordered. The staff came to table with a birthday ice cream dish complete with candle, and sang happy birthday to me,If you are looking for good food in a place that is old school, this is your place,"
"The veggie rolls are everything. They are super delicious, the service is quick, and the servers are attentive."
"We ordered Samosa Chaat and it had Amazing Taste with Fresh Chutney ... We will definitely try other chaat items next time !!"
"When I feel like treating myself, this is my go to. No lines around the corner or Instagram influencers looking for promo codes. Just awesome pastries. Don't leave without a couple sweet and savory selections. And the drip coffee is outstanding. I'll have to upload a photo later, as I'm always focused on enjoying my order - not capturing it for someone else :). The current photo taken in Paris (07/24)"
"Wow !! Their cakes are always so fresh !! One of the nicest bakery in Fremont. They have a variety or breads and snacks, but I mostly go for their cakes. They generally dont keep cakes ready, but prepare fresh for you in 15 mins. Their mousse is melt in mouth. Sponge so soft and fresh. We always enjoy their chocolate and Mango mousse cake. They staff is always nice and friendly.I ordered a special cake for my Sister's baby shower and that turned out perfect. Would always recommend their cakes."
"Small taqueria, not much seating, basic variety of food and a good variety of pastries and cakes. They also have a refrigerated section with a variety of desserts, drinks, fruit and other items. My husband's go to items are the tacos, side of rice and a cookie with sprinkles. I too enjoy the tacos but also like the chili rellano (this is served in a little bit of broth, so if you are use to receiving a dry rellano this will be a little different but it is so delicious), burrito and pastries, at times I will get a tamale. Also, love the agua frescas, I never go without getting one. Only once have they forgotten to give us an item we ordered unlike another taqueria that we use to go to that frequently forgot items. This place has become our go to place to grab a quick bite but be prepared because they do get quite busy. Some of the employees only speak Spanish so sometimes it's hard to ask questions but we have always received friendly service.I do wish that they had pozole and caldo de res though."
"This place is highly recommended if you're looking for the Filipino dessert Turon. We've ordered them from here a couple times with the most recent being a largish order for my daughter's HS graduation party. They were a big hit! I would definitely order them from here again."
