Incredible bagels and bialys. So fresh and beautifully made. We are a family of serious food preferences and the kind lady pulled out a chart of each item and food ingredients. This is the only place if you have serious food restrictions. We bought two huge bags including delicious cream cheese and vegan cream cheese. Everyone was very happy and enjoyed this very much. All agreed these are the best bagels and bialys in the area. The store is immaculate and perfectly organized. The people are very kind and cheerful.Highly recommend.

Hmm, I thought this place was OK. The bagels taste like any other bagel in my opinion. If we are solely focusing on the bagel, I do not understand the hype. The spread was pretty unique and different as it was light and whipped but beyond that, I didn't feel amazed. I heard great things from people but felt very underwhelmed. I easily ordered online and it was a smooth pick up on a Saturday early afternoon. The worker however didn't acknowledge my thank you and seemed kind of over it tho. I got the everything bagel with original spread and it was okay. The bread was cold so not sure if they actually toasted it. For the cream cheese spread, it was whipped and light so not too heavy. For $5.25, I thought it was decent. My fiancés for the classic which is a salmon lox on a everything bagel with chive spread, lox, tomato, onions, and capers for $16 before tip/tax. I thought that was kinda steep but they seemed to put a good portion of lox, which was nice. He said it was a solid 4/5. My rating is solely on the bagel it's self which I thought was a 3/5.Overall, I'll be back as it's super close to my area and the only bagel spot but definitely not a top breakfast choice for me. I also wouldn't go out my way to recommend this spot per se as I thought it was just ok.

Honestly this bagel shop is absolutely ridiculous. The cashier was not very kind, and honestly felt like she was insulting me. I asked if they could scoop out my bagel and she said no. She said it's "against company policy" which honestly doesn't make sense to me at all. When I asked why they can't, she said it ruins the integrity of the bagel. This is completely the choice of the customer to make and for a cashier or supposedly the company to make is ridiculous to me as it is a simple task and ask. Also I got their choco malt which is their specialty drink and it is DISGUSTING. The worst thing I have put in my mouth. The aftertaste is horrible. Also note they don't have almond milk either. Overall this place is NOT accommodating at all.Their bagel itself is pretty good, but not worth the rude staff you will have to encounter. Giving three stars for taste of bagel, but if rated on poltieness, accommodation of staff, and coffee I would give it a -10.

This is a neighborhood place that has been around a few years now. We go here from time to time but this time I felt compelled to write a review. * Ambience: This place is pretty basic, you order food in a line and when you walk in it is essentially an open space and you see folks making bagels. You sit outside. It isn't a place where you go to eat a meal when it is cold (outside seating has no heat lamps).* Food: The menu is very basic here and we all get the same stuff. - The Classic (Lox on a bagel): This sandwich is OKAY (I have had better). They stuff a LOT of Lox and the bagels are super chewy (not in a good way) so it is hard to eat but that said...the sandwich isn't bad. I get this every time (see pic).- Pumperthingle: My wife always gets the Pumperthingle with cucumber. She said this is a good sandwich. All in all if you are looking for a quick meal for the kids after a game or if you are looking for a meal during business hours...this is a solid spot.

We came on a wet rainy Wednesday day at 12:30 pm. The parking lot with busy. There are other places like Starbucks, Japanese, and Mendocino Farms but we were excited to try the bagels here. There were some chairs & tables outside under the eaves and a bench or two to sit inside and wait for your order. Service was efficient. We ordered and in less than 10 minutes we got our order. Black coffee is black coffee. The guava iced tea was weaker than what I was expecting. I wouldn't order it again. Is $16 steep for the classic? Nova lox, chive cream cheese, tomato, red onion, and capers on an everything bagel. It's a nice thick filled bagel. The bite is awesome, chewy and flavorful. After a few bites in, it tasted salty. Same thing with the egg salad everything bagel. It's a delicious thick bagel with a good amount of filling and it was salty too. Maybe that batch of everything bagel was over salted. Or maybe it's supposed to be? Hmmmmm... if I was in the area, had a craving for a bagel with lox, I may try this place again and see if the everything bagel is overly salty again.

In my honest opinion, it's an over priced bagel place. I appreciate their service and the place is very clean. However, it seems insane to be charging upwards of $13 for a bagel, cream cheese, egg salad and a handful of toppings! Lox bagels cost even more. I liked the place but I'd much rather pay $10-12 for a breakfast burrito at another place.

The best bagel in the Bay Area. Periodddt. I didn't use to be a person that really cared about bagels. I enjoyed them, but didn't really care enough to prefer one spot over another. The first time I got Boichik, I thought it was pretty good - but way too big and difficult to it. I think once we nailed down the order... everything changed. HIGHLIGHTS: + The freshest lox + Freshest vegetables. Cucumbers are crisp. Tomatoes are juicy yet firm. + BAGELS. Are amazing. Fluffy, soft.. just YUM+ Friendly service! I was waiting with my pup outside when my husband was getting our order and they offered him a huge beef strip. Like not a cheap milk bone.... full on gourmet status even for the free dog treats lol. + Bonus tip - get everything seasoning inside the bagel. Soooo good. Things to keep in mind: - HUGE servings. Order light spread (you'll still get more than enough). Get extra napkins. Consider splitting an order if you don't want to enter a food coma. - Pricey $$ but 100% worth it. Lines are never long at this location when we've come on the weekend (I've walked by a location in SF and the line was insane). You can also order ahead if you are in a rush!

I raved about Boichik Bagels almost a year ago when we got them for a family gathering during Christmas at their OG Berkeley location. Fast forward to present times: we got three bagels to go. Not only were they devoid of the crispy crunch on the bottom which I thought made them super special, they were overall dense, hard and overly chewy. All three were like this, but the egg bagel was the worst. At $3 a pop, I could have done better at Willy's, Bagel Street...or daresay even Costco!

This bagel shop is great for cream cheese lovers! The pricing is pretty crazy, but I'm glad they pack the bagel with cream cheese and toppings. I ordered a build-your-own bagel with an everything bagel, red onions, daikon sprouts, chive cream cheese, and Nova Lox. The Nova Lox tasted good, was smooth, and didn't have much fishiness. A bit salty but tasted good when paired with everything else in the bagel. This wouldn't be my first choice for bagels, but I would stop by here for convenience!
