As a former Stanford postdoc, this place was my absolute go-to for lunch. Now as someone who gets to visit Stanford on occasion, this is still my must stop lunch place. Imagine if Chipotle met Asian meats & toppings - Blend Eatery brings that concept to life!If you've been to Chipotle before, the layout is very similar. You choose your base, your meats, veggies, and toppings/sauces. Most of the meats come from Filipino cuisine, with options such as Tapa, Tocino, and Adobo. I usually jump between Tocino and Adobo, but you can't go wrong with either as both are flavorful and juicy. Lots of fresh Asian-style toppings including Atchara, Edamame, Kimchi, just to name a few. You have the option to add a fried egg for an additional fee (currently $2 due to the egg shortage, normally $1.50), but the base price of your build-you-own-bowl is $12.75!! And you get a lot of food for the price, so it's a wallet-friendly meal!If you don't come to Stanford regularly, it can be a bit of a pain to find parking to just come here. Guest parking requires payment during weekdays, and they're only open for lunch hours on weekdays, so really limited opportunity. But if you're on the Stanford campus for any reason during Blend's business hours, you must make a stop!

I'm always at blend eatery because the food is tasty and the portions are really generous. I usually get half adobo and half panko chicken. I appreciate being able to customize my lunch.

Yummy and heart warming food on Thursdays. delicious chicken or tofu options in aioli. Edamame adds a nice cold contrast to the fried crispy protein. The broccoli is served a bit strangely since it's just steamed and not really cooked with any sauce or flavor.

I was so happy with this awesome option for lunch on Stanford campus! The tofu was very filling as a vegetarian option and there were lots of choices for toppings! The fried egg on top was a nice filling treat. The outside tables were nice and calm and pleasant and the service was pretty quick given the lunch crowd. Overall a top experience!

A great BYO Asian bowl spot on Stanford campus! The place is pretty popular with students, so there tends to be a line around lunchtime. Bowls are around $12, all meats are the same price. There is no seating inside, just grab and go, but there are some nice seating areas right outside.I had a salad bowl with half tocino and half panko chicken. Loved the texture and flavor of both meats, and the variety and amount of vegetables I got in my bowl. The tocino pork had a great sweet and savory flavor and the panko chicken was crispy and tender.Topped it off with the sriracha mayo sauce.Would definitely return to try their other protein options!

Never disappoints if you get the pork (beef is kinda meh). Always a huge line at lunchtime. Great vegetable selection, so it keeps the eater nutritionally balanced. Prices are good by Palo Alto standards. Nice outdoor seating area that gets plenty of sunshine.

I had to leave a review because this place was so unexpectedly good!! Definitely feels like a hidden gem on campus. The fried tofu was breaded well, crispy, and seasoned well. The sriracha mayo was perfect on top

This build-your-own bowl type of restaurant is serving up Filipino fusion on campus at Stanford! I think this style of an eatery makes Filipino food very approachable since you can customize it with a variety of add-ins. They have classic Filipino items such as pork adobo, pork tocino, beef tapa, and longanisa. You can also add a fried egg for a dollar more. I was also surprised to see they have atchara (pickled veggies). The tocino was really good and had that sweet and fatty richness to it. The tapa was tender and had a simple flavoring to it. They also have some beverages that you find at the Asian markets like aloe juice, canned coconut juice, and Vietnamese iced coffee. The restaurant is similar to a Chipotle where you choose your rice, meat, veggies, toppings, and sauce with the employee making it for you. The line gets long and reaches the sidewalk during lunchtime but moves pretty quick. This is definitely a solid spot to grab lunch on campus!

Went here for a second time today and the food was quite good. My wife got the chicken lunch bowl with lettuce (no rice) and the Tamari Sauce(soy sauce based). I ordered the Tapa Beef with brown rice plus all of the vegetables (broccoli, lettuce, fried garlic, edamame, cucumber, corn, spinach etc) with the Sweet Chili Sauce. Both were delicious again. We will be back!

I wish I could give this place a higher rating! The food is SO good! I get the chicken or pork adobo bowl with EVERYTHING! All the sauces are fire and the quality of the food is truly high. And the customer service of the employees is amazing. Go support this business!
