I don't go to the Castro that often, but when I do, I am always pleasantly surprised by their good food and desserts. I was just walking around the area and I walked past this shop and it looked cool! This is some of the best ice cream I've had in San Francisco! I loved to see how they had so many great unique flavours on the menu. I had the Brown Sugar Buttermilk, which was recommended by the nice employee. It was really tasty and creamy! The atmosphere and the service was so great. The person who helped me was really kind and helpful. She helped me pick a flavour, which I appreciated a lot. I would definitely like to try more from here in the future. Not just ice cream, but everything seems really good. I'd like to try a hot butterscotch next time, and maybe a sundae as well. They have so many great options, it's hard to choose from!

Lovely ambiance and experience, feels unique and very different than just an ice cream spot. It has that old school ice cream parlour vibes. Their cakes looked amazing, you can get slices around $7. I sampled a few flavors and honestly the ice cream wasn't the best ever I had but it was decent. I ended up with the creme fraiche which had a slightly sour twing to it as the guy described. I'd come back here for an affogato or a milkshake or cake if I'm in the mood. Less so for the ice cream but the ambiance itself.

Love the old school vibe, down to the metal ice cream bowls for dine-in. Also, what a great excuse to get an ice cream when you need a place to use the restroom in the Castro! I'm really thankful they're open until 10pm on the weekend; perfect for a late-ish night snack.Salted Caramel Turtle Pecan: Strong caramel taste both in the ice cream and in the swirls. A decent amount of salted pecan pieces. Didn't notice any chocolate bits, as one would find on a turtle candy, but that's ok since I was loving the caramel.Roasted Pineapple: I'm happy they had a fruit forward ice cream that wasn't vegan. The roasted pineapple became candy-like. Against the creamy ice cream base, it was the perfect pairing. Kinda like having pineapple upside down cake à la mode.Banana Split: Way better than those diner banana splits you had growing up! The big difference is that they brûlée the split banana to order, so you give a nice sugary crunch. Much better than mushy pasty raw banana. Then you essentially pick three ice cream flavors and three toppings, so you can really get to explore the menu. I felt vanilla and strawberry were classics, but got caramel instead of chocolate since I love me some caramel. There's also whipped cream and roasted peanuts on top. Kind of a big portion, so a fun thing to split on date night.Rainbow Cake: Looks really cool and really gay. Flavor is a bit more "vanilla"... literally since it's essentially vanilla cake and vanilla frosting on each level. The layers must just be food coloring, not special fruity flavors. Still fun, though might have been better à la mode.

Yall the aesthetics here are unmatched. I felt happy to be here before I even ordered. Staff was friendly and service was quick! I felt like I was really brought back to what OG ice cream shops are supposed to be. My husband got the Vegan blood orange passion fruit. It tasted very similar to Jamba's white gummy IYKYK! I got the red velvet, it had real cake in it! Yum! Happy Valentine's Day :)

Amazingly delicious. Try the hot butterscotch with toasted marshmallow fluff. It's like heaven in a cup. They have really scrumptious and interesting ice cream flavors like a malted peanut butter brownie flavor, and toasted pineapple. And a passionfruit sorbet. Passionfruit is my favorite fruit and I rarely see it in sorbet! This place is clean cute friendly and the guy who helped me was a total sweetheart, I wish I had gotten his name .... I think he had a mustache...? Anyway, go get some velvety drinking chocolate or a hot butterscotch from the mustache man, stat!

We found the old school soda fountain atmosphere of this place super charming, and decided to stop in. Once we did, we were pleasantly shocked to see they have a Hot Butterscotch on their menu. As hot chocolate fanatics, we were immediately intrigued by the Hot Butterscotch and decided to try one with their toasted fluff. Wow! Despite never having a Hot Butterscotch, this hit all the notes we were hoping for! The toasted fluff topping was also amazing, and was nicely scorched, adding some caramelization flavor to the drink. I'm not sure if butterscotch isn't that popular or what, but I don't know why these drinks aren't more widely available. If you love hot chocolate or butterscotch like we do, you have to try the Hot Butterscotch! We'll definitely be back, as their ice cream flavors also looked fantastic.

Ice cream is great balance of sweet and creamy. Excellent flavor selections. The affogato is delicious with a high quality expresso and ice cream combination. Wonderful baked good selection including cake and cookies. Located centrally in the Castro. A few indoor tables and a few benches to enjoy outside. Friendly staff.

After binging a few Netflix episodes of "Is It Cake?" my childhood bestie (and best eating companion ever) Cheryll and I decided to binge some actual cake. Found this delightful shop on Yelp and headed to the Castro on Saturday night. We had the brioche bread pudding, devil's food cake, and carrot cake. We also tried two flavors of ice cream: brown sugar buttermilk and roasted pineapple.Excellent crumb of all different densities and textures for each of the baked goods and depth of flavor. The ice cream was also exceptionally good. Please bring your discerning palate here and treat it to some deliciousness!
