Came by on a Thursday around 8pm! I tend to try the tater tots at bars if they have them, and I think the tots here are the best I've had! Perfectly crispy and a good portion as well! If you're a sauce person, I will say that I think there's not enough ketchup provided for the amount of tots you get. Haven't tried their drinks yet, but would definitely recommend the food!

I have ordered pick up from this place numerous times and it is always exactly what I expect in the best way. They'll even deliver the food directly to you at NorthStar Cafe across the street! Pretty standard menu but everything is done well. Really nice servers and bartenders and a cute interior with plenty of seating and plenty of tvs to watch the game!

This is specifically a review for the Tuesday Trivia at 7:30pm! You need to make sure to get there pretty early if you want to snag a table, it was absolutely packed! But totally understand why, it was super fun and well organized! Winners get prizes ranging from $40 in bar credits to bottles of mini sparkling wine.In terms of food, the totchos felt the most worth for the price (huge portions for $10) as opposed to the burgers ($12-14). Ordering got a bit backed up so you do have to wait for a while, but the main star of the night is the trivia not the food.Definitely will come back again for the fun night!

Great drinks and filling food, but the real draw is weekday trivia, which is one I've most enjoyed in the city. We got super lucky our friends had arrived uber early and secured a whole table outside, because we would not have been able to be seated otherwise. The trivia master was excellent, and I found the references to be culturally varied and play to the strengths of our somewhat age-and-background diverse group (answers range from billy joel to the Chinese zodiac to simply "yeet"). There were several rounds, which is ideal if you want something to slowly chip away at your unfounded trivia self-confidence but give you a fun time nonetheless. Two very memorable ones were (1) the pattern round, where all the answers to the questions were related to each other in some way (we found one pattern correctly and the other incorrectly; it was a blast) and (2) the music round, the results of which you could not waterboard out of me. Needless to say, we were quickly gunning for the "most average" team (we did not win that title either, but maybe next time). Our trivia master was friendly and welcoming, and we got to chat with him at the end. He mentioned that his regulars get a sense of the hints and patterns in his questions which adds yet another layer to the game, but you didn't hear that because we're using all we can to come in first time time.

I love going to The Boardroom for games, especially with lots of Oregon fans this bar is a great environment for drinks and sports. However, today the bouncer/security/ ID check point guy at the door was so outstandingly aggressive that my friends and I were so uncomfortable and had to leave. I'm a bartender myself and understand the importance of checking IDs and ensuring no fakes are getting in, but this guy (older gentlemen with a beard and cane) was on another level of paranoia about checking IDs. There were lots of big college games today and my friends and I got there before the bouncer came, so understandable he needed our IDs even tho we had already ordered drinks. But this behavior was unacceptable. First, my friend hands him her id and he accuses her of attempting to use her hand to cover her photo by saying "nice try with covering your photo"... she's 22 and may look young but none the less she is 22 and that was her real ID... whatever shrug it off. Next I go up and someone asks if they have to have their id, I joke and say "that must be your favorite question" he did not like that. My friend who lives around the corner met us and wasn't drinking and realized she didn't have her ID. She simply looks at her phone and the beard and cane man accuses her of attempting to show him a photoshopped ID photo? She was so weirded out by his aggressiveness she left.He then proceeds to aggressively tell us if anyone at our table doesn't have a stamp or is illegally drinking or sitting with us not of age we will be thrown out. Super fair, it's the law! I said we don't have anyone not of age drinking with us. He gets even more aggressive and angry and goes on a little more and that's when I said okay calm down (he was really really aggressive about a situation that hasn't even presented itself). I get in line at the bar to order a drink and after a moment he stands up, gets in my face and tells me to "not tell him to calm down nor how to do his job" I was stunned this man was so offended to get up in my face. I replied, "I'm not telling you how to do your job, but you are being very intense and could be kinder." He then says he will kick me and my friends out or he demands an apology. The nastiness in this man's voice demanding an apology for me simply saying calm down is crazy. I apologized in fear, but not for us getting kicked out, but that this man would cause a scene that he was obviously craving. I wish I didn't apologize. He then proceeds to check all the tables outside to ensure stamps and IDs, but specifically aggressively questioned and threatened our table, who has already legally spent a fair amount of money on drinks. That man should not be working in any setting with people, let alone be the first person a customer interacts with when arriving. I understand checking IDs, but his paranoia was on another level, he's surely waiting for the day to get a fake id and do god knows what. I don't know if it's a power-trip, insecurity, or mental health, but he needs to seriously learn about people before WORKING with people. I don't know what fake id undercover operation he thinks and fears people are running, but we are not apart of it and our LEGAL OF AGE IDS should've settled that. The man has some serious issues. I enjoy this place but if I ever saw that man at the door again I know me and my friends wouldn't even try to go in. This world is cruel enough, no need to be unreasonably cruel and aggressive when I'm just trying to get a drink and watch football!
