ahhhh..what can i say.this is the experience i want every time i eat crab.roasted.. salty.. pepper..delicious!

Omg the crab is soooooo good. In fact, everything is good. I'm still thinking about it afterwards. Air was our server and he was the sweetest! Super kind and attentive, he made sure we were okay throughout our dinner. He's super intuitive and anticipates your needs. Air instantly grabbed us warm, moist towels for our hands after we were done with our crab. He was so attentive - I thought he read my mind!! He saw that my hands were still buttery from the first towels and instantly ran back to get me another warm towel as a napkin. So so kind!!! I hope Air gets a raise because the service was so amazing.Really liked my lychee martini, butter garlic crab, and garlic noodles with prawn!! Will be back!

We ordered the roast crab, shaken beef, sautéed vegetables, and garlic noodles.Service was greatI think the food was overpriced for what it was, the butter sauce on the roast crab, overpowered the taste of the crab meat.I wonder if the crab was cooked yesterday, then they put sauce on it before serving. The crab meat could have been sweeter, making me think it was boiled a bit of time ago...Shaken beef was delicious,portions could have been bigger, but was yummy.Garlic noodles drenched in oil/butter, was yummy but kinda scary with all that grease

We visited Thanh Long on Judah Street in San Francisco, excited to try their famous Vietnamese seafood. While the experience had its highlights, there were a few things that could have been better. * Shrimp Toast: This appetizer was just okay. It was on the dry side and lacked the richness we were expecting. * Roast Crab: The crab itself was excellent--fresh and cooked perfectly. However, the heavy use of butter slightly overwhelmed the flavors. * Colossal Royal Tiger Prawns: The prawns were juicy and flavorful, but again, there was an overabundance of butter, which detracted from the natural taste of the seafood. * Fried Rice Combo (Shrimp and Chicken): Unfortunately, this was the weakest dish of the night. The rice was over-charred, which left a bitter taste, and the flavors didn't come together well. While the seafood quality was undeniably good, the overuse of butter made the meal feel a bit heavy. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive, but for the price point, we expected a little more finesse in the execution of the dishes.The crab and prawns are worth trying, but we'd love to see more balance in the flavors next time.

The eating continues.....It's my daughter's birthday and she wanted to celebrate at Thanh Long this year. It's been a minute since I've here and you know what? It remains the same flavors and service from 10yrs ago. From their roasted crab soaked in butter and garlic to their garlic noodles and bo luc lac was delish! Definitely the dishes never changed and is a staple in the Avenues.

Chefs mf kiss. This place and Crabby Crabby are my top two crab spots . This one is an SF gem. Please never close. All the cool people come here if you didn't know. Garlic crab & noodles YES PLEASE

Garlic noodles were bland and lacked flavor. Roast crab was very delicious and seasoned to perfection

We come here at least one a year.The Food is always Delicious, aAll the Time!Fast And friendly service!
