SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE! Overcharged me diff from posted menu prices. When I showed/told them, they first said it was the local tax. I pointed out the tax is shown on the receipt. So then they said that was the current price. WTF? No apology. No refund. No committing to change the posted price. How hard is it to put a piece of paper or tape over prices and write new one in? I should have grabbed my tip back out the jar.

We tried Southern Comfort Kitchen Food Truck while we attended a Roots game. We were really excited for some Cajun flavors before the game. We ordered the Cajun Crab Fries ($16) and would have also ordered Jambalaya but they were sold out. When we received the fries I was excited because the crab seemed like a really generous portion. However, when I dug in for my first bite I realized all the flavor was in the fries or the sauce and that the crab, so generously piled on top was pretty tasteless and seemed like it hadn't been properly drained as it was really watery (which didn't help with the lack of flavor). I ended up eating around the crab, the fries were nice and hot and the sauce they used was super flavorful- there just wasn't enough of it.I think the meal would have been a lot better if the crab had been fully drained of water and maybe tossed in sauce or butter before being added to the fries. If I were to order again I would just get plain fries with sauce.

Located at the As game.Wait time- overall food was ordered rather quickly and served.Customer service- the gentlemen provided great service.Quality/Presentation- After attempting to order jambalaya 2 other prior games, they stated they had jambalaya available. For the price there were not a lot of sausage/chicken and a little dry. Disappointed as my previous visit was so much more flavorful. It wasn't the worst but not the best.

Spotted their food truck at Off the Grid rally at South Shore Center. Their Jambalaya is on point, I highly recommend including it to your order. It has a good amount of andouille sausage and chicken; not too spicy and not too salty, generous portion, filled to the top. Their Po' Boy sandwich could include more shrimp, they only lay out six shrimps on the sandwich, perhaps more mayonnaise would help amplify the flavor; however the sandwich isn't bad but not great. The "50/50" on their menu consist of fries, three fried shrimps, and two fried seasoned fish; plenty of fries but not enough seafood, I probably might opt of that next time. Overall, price is a tad high, hearty and filling food!

This place is GREAT! Especially so considering the general dearth of Southern/Soul Food in SF. On my 1st visit i had the shrimp etoufee and it was delicious, and came with rice and a chunk of baguette. So why only 3 stars you ask?Simple -- plastic container for a hot liquid dish. There are better/healthier alternatives out there. This reviewer for one would be more than happy to pay extra for cardboard container.

We live in Foster City near Leo J Ryan and love to support the food trucks every Wednesday. Husband ordered a jambalaya and crab fries, brought it home and as soon as he walked into the door I was asking him what that awful smell was. We opened the crab fries and sure enough the rotten seafood/ammonia smell was coming from that so we didn't dare eat it. The jambalaya seemed okay so he ate that and said it was so-so. No phone number so we emailed to let them know and to ask for a refund. No response. Sorry not going to throw away $15. Next time we saw the food truck he asked for a refund and they refused to give one citing that no one else complained that day and that we should have brought the food back. Food is not good, not fresh, and they have awful customer service. And now seeing their health codes violations I shudder thinking about how many people get sick from this place.
