"We came here to try the Salmon Curry, vegetarian Momos, and the Palak Paneer. The Naan and Rice is complimentary with every dish! The Momos: I see why everyone raves about them. They have layers of spices in each bite, and the curry sauce they come with has a little kick. They are so delicious. The spice does not overwhelm all the other flavors in the Momo. Salmon Curry: Oh I loved this dish. You can really taste the salmon amidst the curry spices, and the texture was *chef's kiss! There was enough that two people had a bit of leftovers too. Palak Paneer: I've read hit of miss reviews about this dish. Some people said it was too thin/liquid of a sauce. I've had Palak Paneer at numerous places and every single place does it a little differently. It's true that Palak Paneer at Cuisine of Nepal had a thinner curry but it's still delicious. The cheese cubes are quite large and flavorful. The sauce was mild in spice. For desert we ordered Lal Mohan, yum!! A very sweet taste with a pudding-like texture. Reminded me very much of a doughnut hole but soaked in honey. In this case it was saffron. The ambience: Cuisine of Nepal feels very European in terms of its inner layout. My wife and I sat at a two person table in a long row of two person tables down a narrow hall. We got there for an early dinner (around 5:30) and the place had only two other guests. By the time 6:30 rolled around I felt like I was at an intimate dinner party with long rows of people facing each other. It became very busy so I'd suggest coming earlier to get a seat."
"Pretty solid smoked brisket sandwich!! For $15, it was a quality sandwich and very tasty. Location is a little off from downtown, but that helps with the parking situation a bit.I would come back for sure!"
Pork shoulder smoked over mesquite with applewood right out back. Served on toasted bread of your choice with our own coleslaw and Carolina bbq sauce.

"I've heard about this place for several years but only got to try it recently. I was feeling overwhelmed with all the options available and ended up consulting the cashier for recommendations. After asking me what my preferences were, he recommended me the Pistachio Jasmine Dream (seasonal drink), which I got with oat milk (no additional cost!), less ice, and less sugar. Boy, was it a good recommendation! I love it when I can taste the tea flavor in my drinks, and I could definitely taste the jasmine and the floral hints in this one!! The pistachio cream was also delicious, and gave the drink some creaminess and a hint of nuttiness.I've heard that this place is sometimes not consistent with their drinks, but I personally had a great experience when I visited! There's ample seating inside and the interior aesthetic is clean, warm, and modern -- perfect for studying or catching up with friends!"
"I've been a fan of La Med since the 90's when a coworker introduced me to La Méditerranée on Fillmore street, which was opened in 1979. We would order the Middle Eastern plate and I would switch up the items, as everything I have tried was delicious. It came with soup, salads and your choice of three items. So fast forward to this past year, we went on a boat tour for work of the Bay and they had it catered by La Med. I was so delighted to be able to have this food and rave about this place again. Since then, we have had the catering a few times as it make for great snacking plates. We had a work happy hour and ordered through Doordash to be delivered to the bar. Worked out amazingly and we had the Fruit and Sweet Treats tray (small), Dips and Pita Bread Tray (small) and the Combination Tray (small) to feed a group of about 10 for appetizers. The food is still so good, the service is friendly and prompt. Always a great choice for something a little healthier and delicious."
"I've been here a couple times for their lunch buffet. For $16.99 they offer plenty of dishes to choose from including fish pakora, rice, saag paneer, chicken tiki masala, goat curry, a lentil curry, tandoori chicken, and the rice pudding for dessert. The naan is brought to the table and you can order as many refills as you'd like. The dishes have great flavor. I noticed everything is made in small batches so the food is fresh. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is nice. The parking can be a challenge since it's only street parking. This location (Portola) only offers the lunch buffet not the Clement location."
"I'm please with all my orders so far!Haven't been in the store, only through delivery but I discovered them while double Dashing and highly recommend you give them a try."
"Very good sandwiches at Calabria Brothers. I had their pastrami sandwich w/Swiss cheese $13 and a roast beef sandwich w/Swiss cheese $13 both on Dutch crunch bread. The bread wasn't that crunchy. That's a sign that the bread is fresh. I asked for everything and tomatoes were not included. Otherwise, it was great."
"Having BEEF PEPPERONI alone gives this place 5 stars already. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. All around I give everything a 10/10, from the customer service to the food! I was immediately greeted as I walked in and the guy at the front was kind enough to go over the menu with me and give me some recommendations as this was my first time there. I ended up just going with a BEEF PEPPERONI pizza and let me just say it was the best pizza I have ever had. I've tried a lot of pizza spots but this hands down was my favorite and from now on this will be my go to spot. I can't wait to go back and try more off the menu, 10/10 recommend"
"I consider myself somewhat of a crepe expert as I eat crepes almost every Saturday for the last 18 years, and was eager to try Crepe Madame's crepes as she and her team were hired to feed 300 of our residents for Mother's Day. The savory crepes were healthy and absolutely mouthwatering delicious. I just loved watching her and her team do their magic, having fun, not getting tired after customizing each person's request. I went back and got a dessert crepe and savored that as I know I'd have to go back to my usual average crepes on Saturdays. A big thanks to Crepe Madame and her team for being so amazing and putting so many smiles on people's faces with their delicious crepes. Definitely a very delicious memorable event."
"Ready made meals section, was lovely!Gimbap, japchae and other set meals were adorned! Their banchan selections and other cold dishes are amicable too. I went gaga over their variety and small bite sized items. Fresh produce and adequate Korean themed groceries are available here.If one is craving for some side items or Korean BBQ supplies, shop here! It'll fulfill the fix."

The BEST momos! I crave it every time the weather gets cold. The soup is very spicy (be warned!) but warms you up very quickly and is so comforting. Please reopen so we can stop by again!

Been hearing about this place for so long, so I was so excited to try! Boba Bliss has a really cute and cozy interior, it definitely has an artsy chill cafe vibe. I ordered the Brown Sugar Pearl Matcha Latte, and my friend ordered the Mango Sago. I liked my drink, I thought the matcha was still flavorful and fragrant, and the brown sugar added a nice sweetness to it. There was no bitter aftertaste which I always appreciate in matcha. It was good overall, but it also wasn't anything too special that impressed me. My friend ordered the Mango Sago, and they agreed that it was good, but not good enough to come back. They'd rather opt for other spots that might be closer, since Boba Bliss is around 40 minutes out for us. The service was really great, the workers were patient and took their time helping us with recommendations. Overall, Boba Bliss is a nice and trendy spot, just not sure if it's worth the drive for now.

Was craving some Mediterranean and stopped for lunch here. This spot did not disappoint. We grabbed a seat outside on their parklet during some amazing weather and luckily there happeend to be a holiday market happening right in front of the restaurant. This made our lunch very lively! We shared the small dips trio and a falafel wrap with a side salad lunch special. Everything was exceptionally fresh and well prepared. I would habe maybe liked a bit of spice option but the food was great already on its own so we didnt end up needing it. It would have just made it a plus. Our service was attentive and cordial without interrupting. This made our lunch experience a great one and now will add this restaurant as an option and will consider checking out their other location as well.

My first time here and we loved it. $16.95 for ACYE Indian food buffet is a deal. No time limit. I think they end at 2:00-2:30pm. They also had a really good rice pudding dessert. FYI: The drinks are not free but it's good. I had mango lassi and chai tea. Service is great and they constantly make sure to refill the buffet table constantly. They also take the plate from your table when done with the first plate. I had only two round as my friend had 3 round. I got filled up with the chai tea and mango lassi lol. Overall very enjoyable meal and I would definitely recommend. Also keep in mind it isn't the best Indian food in SF but it is the best Indian buffet food for the price. My favorite was the chicken masala, goat, palak/sage paneer, naan bread and to finish it off the rice pudding. I will definitely be back- bang for your buck which is hard nowadays after covid and prices for everything has gone up.

Boba places have popped up all around San Francisco and has become a common place to go to enjoy Boba tea. The Mission had many places to get Boba over the years. When Boba Guys closed a few years ago Brew Cha has remained in the area a few blocks over and still serves one of the most natural organic Boba Teas in San Francisco on 18th street between Mission and San Carlos street. The difference between Brew Cha and other Boba places is their quality of tea and their process of using an espresso machine technology to keep the freshness and flavor of the natural tea. It's in their namesake Brew Cha (cha means tea in Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese). I got the Passion Fruit Green Tea which was not too sweet at my request to the Bobatender. It was refreshing but there was lots of seeds in the bottom of the drink. It was also tasty and you can taste the natural green tea flavor. They have lots of other good drinks on the menu like the Lavender Matcha Latte and their Ube Taro Latte. If you like organic natural tea flavors this is the place to go. Get a cup of boba from the Bobatender with natural tea from the tea ecology Brew Cha is brewing not beer but brewing premium tea with espresso machine technology

The sammies are super fresh, massive and will keep you full all day long! They have an extensive sammie menu with something for everyone. Cute Italian market and deli has been around a while and there's good reason for it; quality, super freshness and made by sammie savants! They are the top sammie professionals around! I've had sammies here a few times and I keep going back for the Uncle Dave. Layers and layers of sammich lovin' in every bite! The meats are top quality freshness not over processed; thinly sliced and delicately placed on your choice of roll. My fav bread is the sweet roll. You also can get any sammie hot or cold. For the Uncle Dave, I prefer cold. Mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, thin sliced red onions all perfectly piled on you fav bread roll and sliced, then wrapped up in the cute red and white picnic tablecloth looking paper and traditional white paper cover wrap. Note about the mayo, not typical mayo. It's super creamy and I have a sneaking suspicion it's homemade. Oh it is awesome! They have a garlic spread they put on each sammie but I opt out, me and garlic spreads do not mix well but peeps love it I hear. I can only eat half for lunch then the other half for dinner it's so filling and delicious! One of my all time fav sammie deli markets. These sammie makers know there stuff here! Please stop by or they're also on the delivery apps. These family folks are serving these sammies with love. Definitely on my fav sammie list. Give them a try!

Simply put a masterpiece in pizza!! I make it a point to go here whenever I am in town. Great service and such a clean place. Pizza comes out hot and fast just like you'd expect from a great pizza shop. I recommend this place to anybody in the area!

"From the past pictures of this taco truck, I didn't get any turnips nor jalepenos. Maybe they stopped it or ran out. It would have been nice to have experience the full package if that is what it is usually. Regardless, their tacos are still packed with flavor and sauce. A bit on the dry side, but that's why they give at least lime wedges to help with the dry side. Their beef cheek is superbly tender! Chorizo was nicely spiced up as well as their pastor. I wish they added the pineapple and made it al pastor instead. It would have made it one upped on that taco! They ran out of fish, which is what I wanted as a seafood taco so I just ordered up two pastors. I should have gotten like carne asada beef, but desired pastor a lot more at the time of ordering and substituting the fish instead. They have rice entrees and burrito wraps. My eyes are always on tacos when it comes to taco trucks! Their drinks are mostly bottled. I wished that they served up more fresh drinks, such as horchata or iced tea. I didn't want any of the bottled sugared drinks. I delved right into the tacos and it surely satisfied the cravings of tacos!"
"Even though they have a huge butcher section, I opted for the tacos. It wasn't expensive, but it also wasn't super cheap. Maybe like $4/taco. The cecina taco was very delicious and memorable! Cecina Taco: My favorite taco of the batch I tried. A huge single thin slice of beef. Apparently it's salted, but it's not like corned beef salted, more like a steak that's a bit salty. Really enjoyed the flavor.Chorizo Taco: Large chunks of ground pork full of spices. Seemed like larger granules than you typically get with chorizo. Worked really well on the taco.Carne Asada Taco: Wasn't quite feeling this one. I was expecting seared slices of steak. Instead, there were large chunks that were like lesser cuts that were a bit bumpy. Like what you might think of for tacos or fajitas served in a school cafeteria.Carnitas Taco: Pulled pork that is deep fried to be a bit crispy. Nice texture and good meat. Could have used a bit more marinade in the meat though."
"(Posting a review from 10/04/2015 since it actually belongs here.)We have a catered lunch every Friday at work. This past Friday, October 2nd, our company got lunch from La Mediterranee. It arrived around 12:30pm. I talked to the person who coordinated it and she said she used ZeroCater to place our lunch order.Everything below was served family style:*Chicken Pomegranate*Hummos*Spinach and Feta Filo*Falafel*Green Salad*Rice Pilaf*Pita*DolmaI loved the chicken, hummus and salad. The chicken was super tender. The hummus was smooth and great as a sauce on everything. Really good flavor. And I'm a girl who loves greens, so I had two helpings of salad. The falafel, pita and dolma were pretty good, but those weren't very warm when they arrived, so I had a texture issue with them as they were a little hard. I liked the spinach and feta filo, but I don't like whole chickpeas, so I found myself picking them out. (Yes, I love hummus, but I don't like whole chickpeas. Weird, I know, but it's a taste and texture thing.) I didn't try the rice pilaf, so I can't comment on that dish.My coworker said this is one of her favorite Mediterranean places and I can see why. I just wish the hot food had arrived hot. Or at least warmer than it did. Cold falafels and mushy dolmas took away from my meal a bit. Next time, I wanna go in and try their lamb lule. It sounds like the dish to get! Hopefully the falafels will be fresh and hot!"
"How does one write a review for a closed business?Answer: Pastel.Having tried many makers' foods in the past six months, I happened to read the menu here and something caught my eye.Having tried a number of other businesses' noodle dishes, it was an automatic to try their chewy curry noodles (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=SZ7YaXpxSSdH05i1RCk5cA&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q); not knowing what to expect, I was happily overwhelmed by the flavors, textures, and variety of ingredients in this meal. The noodles certainly lived up to its name being chewy in a good way. The portions were large as I could only finish 3/4th in one sitting. The rest became my soup for another meal. I also how well packed my meal was (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=i-ApDc8OXDxl4UWBSqKqFQ&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q).Will look at their menu and check whether anything tempts me again like this one did. Try this if you are adventurous."
"Drawn in by Cherylynn's review, I walked in and was greeted warmly by the friendly staff. The way they spoke and made sure I had what I needed made it clear they were passionate about their food and customer experience.I tried 2 items - the Qistibi and Sugar Zang - how could I not after reading Cherylynn's descriptions? Both were delicious! The Qistibi was a savory treat generously filled with fluffy mashed potatoes and beef while the Sugar Zang was a delectable sweet finish. Will definitely be back - highly recommend!"
"I'm an executive assistant for a c-level tech executive, so I've done a million events from 4 attendees to 3,000 attendees. With many caterers, they will jump through hoops for your large events, but won't even talk to you for your small events. We recently had a small 7 person brunch and lunch event at my boss' home in Atherton. I spoke to a handful of different caterers and they didn't seem to understand the white glove service I was looking for. I felt so good after chatting with Nicolana from IDK. She really took the time to listen to what I was looking for, and went out of her way to deliver for me. We did a fancy mimosa brunch and wine paired lunch. Both came with multiple dishes and the team LOVED it. We opted for a fusion Indian theme and they brought a tandoori and the food and flavors were amazing. We were so impressed with the wine pairing as well, since Indian spaces are difficult to pair with. Once the event was done, they cleaned our kitchen and dining area and made it look even better than when they first started. Thank you so much Nicolana and Chef Jai. We love you guys, your mission of fresh local ingredients, and your level of care and service. We will be using you for future events, large and small!"
"A 5 Star Review! We had Kawashima kitchen for our office lunch catering and they blew our staff's minds. They really did go above and beyond with their service. They had the soups set up and COOKING on one side, then had the toppings on another side of the office, then utensils and everything on another side. Terry was amazing and super friendly and made sure everything went well and that all our staff's stomachs were happy. Truly a unique experience for our office and we will definitely order from them again!"
"Esposto's replaced Specialty's at 701 Gateway. Sandwich for sandwich, amiright? I've had Esposto's before at the Mission Bay location, so happy to find a location right by work. People that work here are super friendly. Sandwiches are somewhat small (for American standards) and therefore are a bit on the pricier side. My usual go to is their Reuben sandwich, which is perfectly toasted with juicy meat and sauerkraut. My only complaint is that there isn't that much protein (as mentioned, kind of small). Still tasty. But hey, if you believe in portion control, then this shouldn't be too much of a problem. As for parking, there is guest parking adjacent to the joint. Most visitors here are workers in the nearby area, so they would not be using the guest parking.Definitely will be back when I'm in the mood for a sandwich and don't want to go too far (e.g. if I don't have enough time to go to Little Lucca's)."
"There is something magical that happens here. Sure it's just a taco or some other ubiquitous thing you've seen all over San Francisco. But when I took a bite of that chicken taco, it changed everything I thought a taco was and that a taco could be! Srsly...keep it going Gax!"
"BOXiChef Catering is a wonderful catering service with a variety of options whether it be individual boxed meals or a build-your-own-lunch from ingredients laid out in aluminum trays!I got to try their Teriyaki bar which allows you to create your own teriyaki rice or noodle bowl. It came with mixed vegetables, chicken, beef, tofu, and a couple of garnishes. Everything was pretty great! The noodles had a great chewy texture and the vegetables were steamed nicely. The meat and tofu were surprisingly very well made and marinated with the beef being a personal favorite as I found it to be of good quality. I thoroughly enjoyed the catered lunch and would love to get some more of BOXiChef again!"
"I really am a lazy yelper, and typically only post if a place stands out - either in the positive or the negative.Superfine, in my humble opinion, most definitely stands out in the POSITIVE! So much so that I'm giving them five stars. They sell fresh packaged meals a La "bento", and have a pretty cool variety. But what I love about this place is their awesome artisan pizzas which they switch up monthly, and serve in slices (Wednesdays and Thursdays only). Apparently they have a unique method of making their dough "slow fermenting"? and it comes out wonderfully soft and delicious, encased in a nice light outer crust. I'm usually in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and these great slices give me something to look forward to.Oh, one more thing that I find refreshing and magical about this place. Every time I've gone, the people working behind the counter have been Superfine! I mean really nice, truly friendly and hip people. Their positivity even seems to rub off on some of the customers. In my opinion, having nice people running the place is almost as important as the quality of the food. So in my book, this place is running with a perfect score and I've had at least a dozen meals from their kitchen (mostly that awesome pizza).I must admit, I have been hesitant to post this review because I don't want to start walking in there and having them sold out of pizza every time. L O L so save me a slice OK? But they deserve the 5 star review so here you go."
"I took the first photo and put this truck up on yelp a while back, but withheld reviewing because I wasn't very satisfied with my first burrito. I noticed at the time that they had Birria tacos but didn't get them then. Today I really wanted some Mexican for lunch, so I walked over there and finally got the Birria. It was quite good, WAY better than my burrito was. This is certainly not the best birria in the city but birria is Rare to begin with so getting good birria from a super convenient truck in this neighborhood is amazing. +soaked tortillas+super juicy meat+molten cheese+smooth guacamole sauce+fresh thin light crispy chips+good deal (get 2 at $5 a piece)+whole griddled jalapeño on the side included-no option for a side of consommé, but probably don't need it as they're so drenched-tortillas/cheese not quite as griddled crisp as I've seen-green salsa (for chips) is more sour than most"
"Scribd threw an epic party last night. Sure, it was open bar, they had go karts, zip-lining, and human hamster balls...but to me, what made this such an epic night, was the muh-fuh-in TACOS!Honestly, its why I came to this party, haha. Taco Los Altos catered at this WWDC party and I must admit I got in line 3 times to get some yummy tacos. They had 3 kinds of meat to choose from: steak, pork, and chicken.I had the pork and although the texture was good, it felt a bit bland. The steak was amazing though! Both kinds were moist and not dry at all! Didn't get to try the chicken cuz I only like my chicken deep fried! :PThey had a very nice set up for toppings. Everything you can think of for your tacos! Cilantro, lime, cheese, sour cream, onions, and all sorts of sauces, from mild to habernero hot! Oh and they make their own chips too! That was pretty gosh darn good! The staff who served the tacos were super friendly too. Imagine cooking over a grill indoors and serving at least a hundred hungry nerds! They were so nice.Tacos make me happy :D"
"Good pulled pork, good ribs, good sides. A little skimpy on the sauce, but the sauce was super yummy! Overall, very solid BBQ."
"great sandwiches here as always. our go to is the roast turkey with jack cheese.we always split it as it's large so it's enough for two people. One of the better sandwiches in the bay area, but I will say that its not as consistent as it always was. Newer employees don't make sandwiches as well as the vets there."
"The space was clean and well decorated. It smelled delicious too with the scent of sizzling sisig coming from the next table! The food was phenomenal! it tasted exactly right, and was beautifully plated. All the servers were friendly and helpful and made nice comments about my toddler. They even brought her a plate of orange slices when she wanted fruit. We had the Kare kare, lumpianitas, pancit bihon and caldereta. I can't wait to visit the Bay Area again just to have a meal here!"
