The food was great and the service was very attentive both times we came.I enjoyed AYCE sushi/hot pot combo. The sushi & sashimi was on point. Hamachi, salmon and maguro were good quality. I was so full from the sushi that I didn't have much hot pot. Notables were the toro nigiri trio flight and grilled lobster with cheese. The smoked duck also had nice flavors.I loved a good black lager (Coedo Shikkoku) & sparkling ume (Choya). Yay, AYCD too!Good assortment of canned drinks and packaged ice cream. More than enough to choose from, which isn't often said. The only negative is that there is a strict 90 min time limit and I prefer to take my time with meals. I'll definitely be back to enjoy some of the same while also trying things that I just didn't get to.

So my review keeps getting mysteriously removed. Whether it's this business or Yelp that's responsible for this censorship, they don't want you to know how terrible this place actually is. I will continue to repost my review as many times as you guys take it down. My freedom of speech will not be censored. The short version: terrible service, dangerous food (my entire party fell ill), really expensive, and just as dangerous of a slippery floor. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK.The long version:https://g.co/kgs/js7JasV

Solid new AYCE spot in downtown South San Francisco. Would recommend making a reservation ahead if you can - we made a reservation for a party of 5 on 6pm on a Saturday and we were quickly seated even though there were many parties waiting outside. Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by the drink selection in the fridge. They had the boxed coconut milk which is a childhood fav (!!). Their Choya NA yuzu sparkling drink was also very tasty. A lot of people also opted for the fresh coconut. AYCE Sushi - I thought the quality was decent. Some of the nigiri pieces were huuuge though, so we didn't end up eating that many pieces. I liked how the premium nigiri sampler (limit 1 per person) was included in the base price. AYCE hot pot - for some reason, it took over 30 mins for our pot to arrive (isn't it just pouring soup into a pot lol)? We had to ask a few times. I didn't dock tooo many points off for this because I felt like they were a little bit lenient with the 90 mins. Otherwise I would've been a bit annoyed. In addition to the AYCE menu, they have some prepped food, including XLB, shumai, crab legs, nigiri and duck breast salad. It's a pretty random combo lol. They also have a solid dessert selection - yuzu sorbet and black sesame ice cream yum, other basic ice cream, drumstick, matcha cheesecake and a few others.Overall, I think this is a decent place for the price.

**Yelp/Google/TripAdvisor Review:** If you're looking for an AYCE sushi and hotpot spot, Shoryuken is the place to be! The food quality is above average, portions are generous, and you can even add premium fish for an extra cost. During our visit, they also had shrimp and crab cocktails, which were a great bonus. The pricing is very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food, and drinks are included (except for premium options). Service is friendly and efficient, the place is spacious, and there's plenty of parking. Perfect for a feast with friends--come hungry!

This place went viral on social media so I just had to come here for my birthday in January. since then, i have returned 2 more times and unfortunately i've noticed the quality of the sushi going downhill by the 3rd visit. For the first two visits, the Omakase sashimi and nigiri were to die for, as well as the fancy oysters. The portion of uni they would give you definitely surpasses the $49.55/pp AYCE price. The fish was super fresh and the wagyu was wagyuing. By the third visit, i've noticed the same dishes had gotten cheap. The uni was brown and tasted fishy, and the fish looked like it was dyed a certain food coloring. I had a feeling this place was a little too good to be true but I'm glad i got to experience two really good dinners here. hopefully the quality of the food will be up to par again once they figure out how they want to move forward with their business.

I've only been here for the sushi bc I think it's the best bang for your buck for the premium options that they have. I normally start with the omakase nigiri and then just add a few additional pieces of nigiri. The A5 wagyu nigiri is a must each time I have been here! Perfectly melts in your mouth. Definitely skip the omakase sashimi, I think the omakase nigiri has a better range of options. The steamed scallops come with a lot of noodle, so maybe skip to avoid filling up on carbs. The servers are nice but the wait for food can be kinda long. If you're willing to wait a little for food, the premium options they have are worth the price imo!

$40 for all you can eat sushi and hotpot? Yes please. The place was clean and organized. Their buffet area had really good food from delicious chicken wings to braised pork to dumplings and crab legs. The waitresses were sweet and very kind. They even thanked us for stacking our plates. Would definitely come back again. Worth the money 1000%.

Came in for dinner on a Monday night. Not too busy in the restaurant but busy on the street. A bit hard to find parking at the peak of dinner time. If you haven't been here yet but know the area, I believe this used to be fil-am bbq. They offer AYCE & drink. It's hot pot & sushi & appetizers! There is a lot of food. Appetizers & drinks are self serve. Be careful to not eat too much while you wait for your hot pot or sushi because they do mention charging for leftover food. The apps are good and can definitely fill you up. The sushi rolls are whole rolls, 5-6 pieces but they are big. Side orders (i.e. fried oysters, takoyaki, etc) are 4 pieces so be mindful if you are the only one planning on eating it because it can fill you up before the actual food comes out. My advice - come in with a plan and come in ready to eat. The price is good for the amount and options of food they offer. I came in hungry and left extra full! I'm ready for another visit with a better game plan. Definitely have to be mindful of how much appetizers I'm eating!

Awesome little AYCE restaurant in South SF. Quite an interesting fine and this place can be really overwhelming when you first visit but honestly an awesome place to try out when everyone wants to try everything different. Not surprisingly the good stuff is hidden behind a paper and is not easily accessible but once you get the hang of the things it's a great place for trying out lots of different items. Hot pot and sushi need to ordered by paper and it's the part I didn't really like as getting another menu and waiting for items to come can be quite a long wait. Filling out the paper and getting it to your server quick is a must. Regardless the service was great and when we called over our server she was always friendly and helpful. They have an open buffet type area where you can pick up various drinks, snacks, goods and other goodies. Finally they have a selection of alcoholic beverages that are included as part of your ACYE. Definitely worth a try!
