My favorite donut spot!Donuts are always fresh and they have a good variety of flavors at reasonable prices! My favorite is the ube--the texture is always on point and it has a mild ube flavor that's not too sweet or artificial tasting. Service is always friendly and quick!

I love Rolling Pin Donuts. I've been coming since I was a kid and their donuts are always so fresh and delicious. I was really craving a jelly filled donut on a Sunday morning, came by, and got to choose between several selections that they had. I got the raspberry filled glaze donut and it totally hit the spot. We also got a few donut holes for the kids and the staff tossed in an extra one for free. Parking is quite limited though and the streets are narrow so factor in some extra time to find a spot.

I don't know why some patrons are giving Rolling Pin anything less than four stars, but this is surely one of the greatest yeast donuts I have ever tasted. The Glaze Raised is on point, the Maples Cakes are fabulous, and the Glaze Twists and French Maples are stupendous!

My fiancé and I stopped by for donuts after a long hike and it was amazing! We got a Glazed Old Fashion and Custard Filled Maple Bar. Both were really fresh, super soft, and not overly sweet. I love a good custard filled donut and this one had the perfect amount of custard. The store itself is really clean and you can tell they continuously make their donuts fresh. People were coming in and out during the 10 minutes we were enjoying our donuts in the parking lot, so you can tell it's a local favorite. We both agree that this is our new favorite donut spot in the area and will be coming back again!

Certified San Bruno classic, those who grew up here know that this place is irreplaceable. I will take this over any chain donut shop ever. Rolling Pin donuts have been here since forever, the people in the back know everyone that walks in. Parking can be a hassle sometimes when it's busy, but it's worth it. Whether it's for a quick fix or a potluck event, they will always have your back. Classic donut shop with self service coffee and tea, cookies and pastries, an ATM, and the donuts displayed. Two sides: deluxe donuts with all the fancies and then the classic side. The price definitely went up since I was a kid, but can't blame them and it's still worth it. My order:Bakers dozen -- Get the crullers if you're into moist donuts with a different texture, custard and jelly bars can get too sweet for me. Regular dozen -- Ube and green tea were new flavors and they were subtle but moist and delicious! I will always get a crumb and blueberry donut because they're the best. But if you see fresh plain glazed, you HAVE to get them. If you like a crunch, old fashioned never gets old. All donuts are always consistent, they never miss.

Rollin Pin Donuts on San Bruno Ave is always a good idea at any time of the day or night. For us, we were coming back from having dinner in the city and were craving something sweet. We made our way from North Beach to San Bruno as we were staying in the Peninsula so it was perfect. We pulled in to the parking lot and as expected you have some excited for their choice of donuts customers walking out... and once you walk in? The aroma of donuts will get you. The dough, the sugar, the chocolate and the maple. All of it is great and intoxicating. Ha!I went with 2 glazed old fashioned (my favorite & litmus test for donut shops), 1 glazed buttermilk bar, a matcha cake donut, a sugar twist & a raised crumb donut. The lady at the counter was not having our indecisiveness at that late hour. Oh well, we couldnt make up our minds. It was overwhelming... sheesh. The old fashioned glazed was great. Lots of crunchy nooks & crannies. It was great that night and for breakfast the next morning. My cousins also liked their matcha donut and sugar twist choices. We will most certainly go back again. I'm curious to try the filled donut hole looking things they had. The lady wouldnt really explain when we were there so I'm gonna just call them that.Bright once you walk in, there are so many choices for donuts and also a cookie counter. Drinks are available too. Street parking available but plenty of spaces on their private lot.

Rolling Pin Donuts is a small shop, but they sure as hell know how to make a fantastic Apple Fritter Donut! The Apple Fritter had a thin, crispy exterior and a soft, pillowy bread interior. The apple filling had a soft chew and pleasant notes of cinnamon. The sweetness of the donut came mainly from the glaze, which was just enough so that you can enjoy the other parts of the donut.I was pleasantly surprised at how good the donut was. The shop is unassuming on the outside, but I ended up having one of my favorite donut eating experiences. Pull up!!!!!

Donuts are delicious but their packaging needs some intense work. They put a lot of the donuts on their side and the maple icing actually melted off into the bottom of the box. Very disappointing.
