Pita Gyros

First time here; and Yelpers are right: solid food here.For $12.95, you can get a gyro plate with plenty of meat, on bed of rice, two pitas quartered, side shirazi salad, small container of cream and one for hot sauce. The gyro meat was moist and meaty; the pita was good and not dry.I recommend a small apple juice; I forget the price.Customer service: good and polite. Food was ready in 5 minutes. Nice job!

Tanforan Mall is slowly starting to fade, as redevelopment plans solidify. But it still has a surprisingly lively food court with a good number of tasty options! Pita Gyros offers Mediterranean-inspired fare and custom pizzas, and the Appetizer Combo Plate came with hummus, tzatziki, dolmas, grilled eggplant salad (which was on the oily side), Greek salad (lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, olives, feta), and a grilled pita. Everything was tasty and made for a nice mezze spread, though expectedly from a food court stall, the salads and dips weren't particularly fresh.

I've ordered from this spot twice now off of Relish for office catering, and I was pleased each time! I got a beef and lamb gyro plate the first time, which was very filling and I felt like it was good value for the price. This time I ordered a beef and lamb wrap, and it was oddly delicious considering the wrap was thin and not the pita bread I was expecting. Looking at other photos and that's the norm. It's giving burrito and I'm oddly ok with this. Overall, I would order this again!

There seems to be less people every time we go to the mall. You can sense how hard it is for the businesses. But that doesn't stop the staff from being super sweet & kind!I only got one item, the gyros fries, and it was delicious! Crunchy fries, lots of sauce, & beef (or lamb). Will try other items next time. :D

We don't live nearby but come to Tanforan once in awhile and this is our stop of choice for food in the mall. We only ever order two items from the menu but they're solid every time: lamb/beef wrap & the appetizer combo. My 2 year olds love the eggplant salad and the pita with hummus. Not too salty (always my pet peeve). We like to get gyros everywhere and this place has always been repeatable.

One star for the decent price. Ordered Parmesan and lemon pepper wings, combo gyro, and parm fries. All lacked flavor. I really wanted to give them a chance and have another option in the area.

Pita Gyros is the first Eatery in the food court you'll see when walking into Tanforan on the Bart side of the mall. I walked around the entire food court and this place called to me. It's something different. All that being said, how was it? The employees working here were really friendly and helpful when I was trying to figure out what to order. I decided on the lamb and beef wrap and Greek fries. About ten minutes pass by and I received my food. They do not skimp on portion size. The wrap was gut busting sized tube of joy, filled with vegetables, lamb, beef, and yogurt sauce. The Greek fries was a huge sharable portion of fries covered in parmensan. I thought everything was decent flavor-wise and I definitely got my money's worth quantity-wise.Pita Gyros is a solid option in Tanforan for a quick meal.

The quality of their food is generous, fresh and delicious.Thankyou Pita Gyros for your wonderful staff. Very grateful that they take pride in treating customers cordially, professionally and leaving us with a lasting memory of flavorful food to return here again.

Terrible service. The cashier was nice, but she messed up my order and it took 35 minutes to get my food. She said she misheard me when I asked for a side of fries. She was not rude about. But even after having to wait that long just for 10pc wings, she refused to give me fries even though she messed up and misheard me. Wings were good but not worth that wait.

Horrible customer service. And the food is bland. The whole mall is busy and they don't have a customer. My gut told me to avoid and I wish I would have.
