Noodleosophy is local Bay Area chain focusing on hand-pulled noodle dishes, and this location in particular can be found in Millbrae's Social Eatery food hall. As part of Social Eatery, patrons can take a seat within the food hall, place their orders on the provided tablet, and a staff member will bring the food an beverages straight to your table. We decided to get their beef tendon noodle soup and selected the biang biang noodles (you're able to customize the dish to your liking with whatever noodle option you prefer). We also got a side of their pork and shrimp dumplings, because who doesn't love dumplings? The beef tendon noodle soup was rich and flavorful, while the accompanying noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy - providing a great mouth feel to the dish. The dumplings were delicious as well, and were a nice addition to the meal as a whole. If you're ever in the Millbrae area and want a one-stop shop for all your dining and beverage needs, then Social Eatery is definitely the place to go and be sure to enjoy some delicious hand-pulled noodles from Noodleosophy while you're at it!

It's BOWL-tiful friendships that last through the times that makes me grateful. Came here with my longtime Dental Hygiene friend to catch up.Located inside Social Eatery.:: FOOD ::. Biang Biang Garlic Noodle $12.99: Comes with a mountain of bean sprout, broccoli, and biang biang noodles topped with garlic, ginger, cilantro and green onion. A little spicy kick to it. Loved the texture of the noodle, but wish we were able to add things to it, as it was plain without any meat. .:: Service / Ambiance / Parking ::.Terrible Service. Pretty much self service on everything. You order on your phone through QR code. Wait was super long and unorganized. Located inside Social Eatery, but there's no waitlist, no way to put your name down. You literally just wait at the door in line (very narrow if I may add), until a table opens up. They need to at least let you write your name down. My friend wanted to ask if we could add something on our order and the waiter was so rudely annoyed. He did a big sigh, rolled his eyes and was like no your order is in you cannot add anything. It was SO hard to flag ANYONE down, we just went up and grabbed things ourselves: napkins, to go box, etc. All the waiters literally did was bring food out and thats it.The place has a cute little exterior outside, when I went it was during Halloween week, it was decked out in Halloween decors. The inside had logs / wooden vibes as table. There were ones in high chairs, ones with benches, ones with low tables/ chairs.Parking was scary. The parking lot is SO narrow and small. I feel like its asking for an accident to happen. I would recommend parking on the street, its much more space and safer.

Great ambience. I loved my garlic bean sprouts biang biang hand pulled noodles. For toppings, I added pickled veggies and spiced egg. Really tasty and spice level hit just right (I got more spicy). The new location in Milbrae is so much better than the old one in San Mateo. Service was fast and friendly.

Cute 3 in one restaurant called Social Eatery with modern Japanese decor. They have Noodleosophy, Rice Monster, and Grapeholic (milk tea) in here. We were here for Noodleosophy. We got the tomato egg beef stew and chose biang biang (wide) noodles and mild spicy. This was delicious and it was very mildly spicy. You can choose your noodles type and spice level: mild or hot. Secondly, we got the beef stew with ramen no spice. This was decent. It had broccoli in it which was unusual. Bok choi would have been better suited. It had daikon too. Also the ramen is regular noodles, not Japanese ramen. Menu and ordering is through a tablet so there's no paper menu. But our orders we $16.99 per bowl. There's a foosball table and some board games there if you have time to play. They closed at 8:30pm but this place would make a great night time Asian dessert spot if they ever add that. The restaurant is slightly hidden off the main street. There's a parking lot in front.

My go-to place for noodles and clay pot rice. Great tasting soup noodles with lots of flavor. The texture of the noodles was perfect... not too soft and not too chewy. I decided to try the special beef rib noodles this time. The flavor was good, but I wish there were less fat on the rib.I'll be back to try the other flavors.

Social Eatery is a space that has 2 restaurants and 1 boba place all in one - Noodleosophy, Rice Monster, and Grapeholic. It's very close to the Millbrae BART/Caltrain station (a 3-minute walk) and also has a pretty big parking lot. There's a screen near the entrance for people that are just ordering boba to-go. If you're there for dine-in, they'll lead you to some seats and you can order from all three places at the same time. Lots of seats for dine-in and there's even a foosball table. Our table had a QR code for you to see the menu and order but they brought a tablet over for us to order. Not sure why but I have no issues with that.We ordered Beef Stew & Tendon (公公半筋半腩) and Pickled & Sliced Beef (知府酸湯肥牛). Took a little while for the orders to arrive (almost thought that they were preparing everything from scratch and cutting a whole cow open on the spot), and there were kids running around in the place so it was pretty loud. But after tasting the food, I have to say that the wait was worth it! The servings were pretty big, and the broth was very flavorful. Wasn't too overly seasoned and the texture of the noodles were great.

This place is inside a building called 'Social Eatery with a parking lot in front. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating (with electric plugs!). Ambiance is young and trendy. Imagine foosball table - neon lights - boba . Food came quickly ! It felt like they had it premade already. Like others have mentioned, you don't order in person but via a QT code through your phone and staff brings in your food. Options on noodle type, spice levels and add-ins. My one gripe is that if you wanted dry noodles you would have to order garlic noodles. There were no dry noodles with a meat option !Noodles were a good serving size. But I have a soft spot for Biang biang boodles. I ordered the Beef tendon. It was not too salty or spicy Their spice level is mild and this is coming from someone who doesn't eat much spice. Boba drink was creamy and not overly sweet. Will definitely return! Also a solid spot to order takeout !

Got 2 beef stews one BiangBiang Noodle and the other ramen to compare. Both noodle quality was good and same. I liked the BiangBiang style better for more bite. 7/10 location is a little hard to get to, inside is nice.

Excellent taste, yummy food but disappointed for the portion size and value. Would order two to get my fill in but price is a bit hefty so might have to leave this place to special indulging. Takeout portion is embarrassing. Sat down for like 25 minutes waiting for our drinks on another visit because I recommended the spot to my brother and saw the bowls which looked great and smelled authentic. They really include the default dine in service fee as part of the bowl price so takeout eaters get jipped. Oh and yeah, the service fee is a 15% service charge for dining in but they do have a disclaimer to not tip as a result (though it's not very obvious). They still have a tip jar.Noodleosophy is one of three restaurants in Social Eatery, right off the Millbrae station. Stopped by on the way home because I was trying a new route, wanted to snag boba and food before and well, this location was two in one. Very convenient. There's a sign on the outside to scan a QR to order but my phone didn't like the QR so I ended up opting for takeout. You order takeout on the inside tablet whereas you order dine in online through the QR. Doesn't seem like they take in person orders which can be a hassle when you want to ask questions or scanning doesn't work. For noodles, you can pick the type of noodle, whether or not you want dry or soup noodles, and a spicy level. I ordered Dry Beef Stew with Biang Biang Noodles with mild spiciness. They really need to notify you when your order is ready - they just put my order on the shelf and expected me to come in to ask, though I was waiting for over half an hour. By the time I commuted back home, my food was room temperature but still tasty. Dry Beef Stew with Biang Biang Noodles - for starters, the beef is delicious. Tender and flavorful. Noodles were excellent as well, but in my situation my order was probably ready for a while so the noodles got clumped together at the bottom. Would've had a better experience if they were separated, either dine in or more fresh. Soup might've helped too so would have to try that over the dry. If you want dry noodles, I recommend dining in or eating ASAP. Biggest complain is that the portion is fairly small for the price.
