I was getting hungry while my kids were going crazy at Wow Playground when I saw this place across the street. Ever a sucker for dumplings, I thought I'd try it out. The mini pan fried pork buns were the go-to option recommended by folks, so I went with that. MAN they were good! The right balance of thickness of the dough and juicy meat inside. The flavor was perfect. Highly recommend!M ust try the mini pan fried pork bunsI f you're at Wow Playground, you can bring food inN eed to go back to try other itemsI deal balance of dough and meat

This is a small spot focusing mainly on dumplings; stick to the specialties. I like their risk-taking, particularly in dumplings. I also like their hexagonal chopsticks. The mapo tofu dumplings are decent, though I'd like a bit more sauce and a lot more Sichuan peppercorn than just hints. The tomato egg dumplings are intriguing -- there's cheese and pineapple, which helps fill out the dumpling, and the egg extends to the wrapper. The result is a sort of weird raviolo; I think more body would help. The Chinese burrito, a sort of jianbing (the bing actually reminds me of dosas), is generous in portion, but is filled mostly with lettuce and falls apart pretty easily. This was much improved by chili oil. The shrimp fried rice is mixed; the shrimps themselves are cooked nicely, with good bouncy texture, and are of good size. But there is zero wok hei. I'd get the mini potstickers again. They are, to be clear, pan-fried xiaolongbao, not mini potstickers per se. The sesame/scallion-to-surface area ratio is appropriate. They are crisp. There's not much soup inside, but the meat has a good peppercorn-ish overtone. I want to say that it's Sichuan, as it's sort of floral, but there's no mala. This might be a white whale for me.

Hole in the wall, fast casual dumpling restaurant. The food was decent and their service was very fast. - Chinese burrito: huge portion, crispy as they made to order. I chose pork floss and beef. I will skip beef next time. I loved this.- Mini potstickers: imo it's average, not very crispy at the bottom and needed more salt.I probably won't pick Mini Potstickers as the top dumpling restaurant in the city but it's worth coming back if I'm in the area.

I ordered takeout here and this meal was a 10/10. The 12-piece mini pan fried dumplings were so juicy and flavorful - just perfect. The spicy noodle soup also hit the spot. It was the best meal I had my entire trip.

Wow. This place will get you FED. FOODThe food here is absolutely solid. Their JianBing is chonky to say the least. For less than $15, it will get you fed. The dumplings were magnificent as well. The skins are thin while juicy. It's not gamey nor it's bland. Highly recommend both dishes. SERVICEThe service is what you can expect. The restaurant itself is relatively small and intimate. The two hostesses running the place is quick and efficient while still being attentive and nice. ALL IN ALL. One of my fav Chinese food spot in the city. Def will come back again!

Glad to have a soup dumpling spot on Polk street. You scan the QR code on the table and can just order directly on there! Super easy and convenient. My favorite dish was the garlic green beans. They were so flavorful and delicious. We also ordered the mini potstickers, the chicken and corn dumplings, the trio XLBs (original, tom yum, spicy) and chicken chow mein. I thought the potstickers and dumplings were well made but not super flavorful. There is vinegar, chili oil and soy sauce on the table so you can make a dipping sauce. The soup in the XLBs could also be richer. Overall, this is a decent spot and the prices are reasonable!

Was excited to see this newer location so I didn't have to go all the way to Sunset! The seating inside is pretty limited, but it was perfect for our group of 3, and service was pretty fast.Loved the slightly modified takes on classic dim sum dishes! The mini potstickers were cute and bite-sized and fried well. The Chinese burrito was flavorful and actually had a hit of kick, and the wrap itself is thinner than I expected of a typical jianbing but I liked the crunch in the texture from the lettuce and wonton chips! The Xiao long bao were pretty standard, although trying the tom yum ones were cool because I love tom yum.Overall, would recommend for a casual modern take on traditional dim sum if in the area!

I love the mini potstickers. The skin is soft, flavor and juicy. Hands down the best thing on their menu. Everything else was good but nothing special. I did really like their pan-fried dumplings. Wish the spicy wonton was more spicy. I am happy to have a decent Chinese restaurant in the area. Service was good and efficient. There is a take out order kiosk in the front if you want to go instead of eating in. Can't wait to come back for more mini potstickers. There is a neon signage inside and horrible for pictures.

Such a great addition to the food scene on Polk. Mini Potstickers serves delicious handmade dumplings, potstickers, noodles, and more. Fillings are packed with flavor, noodles are cooked al dente, and soups are aromatic. The Chinese burrito was one of the best I have ever had. We had the combination of pork floss and chicken which I recommend. It was light, flavorful, not overly oily, balance of sweet and salty.Highly highly recommend this place! I already can't wait for my next meal there.

Mini Potstickers is still new, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Otherwise, it would be a 2-star review because there are some things they need to fix.The service doesn't seem to understand the takeout business well. If a customer orders four separate dumpling dishes and noodles, it's likely for multiple people--yet I got home to find only one pair of chopsticks and two sauce packets. The dumplings are okay, but nothing special. Prices are on the high side, which is probably due to the Nob Hill location.Would I go back? Maybe.
