We visited Georgia a couple of years ago and really enjoyed the food, wine and nature there. We were thrilled to see a Georgian restaurant pop up in SF. We ordered the Khachapuri (the one with egg), pork and beef Khinkali and chicken stew. All were delicious, well executed and balanced. For example, some of the Khachapuri had the cheese overpower the flavors, this was well balanced. Would order again if we get another craving.

Discovered Georgian cuisine years ago in Russia. Such wonderful flavors and tastes. Enjoyed it afterwards in Central Asia and elsewhere, but not in the Bay Area.Until now.Found this place thru Yelp, and what a great find.Every dish we ordered and we ate very well, was excellent. The Khachapuri Acharuli, know as 'cheese boat', took me back. The fresh cooked egg on top of the cheese was swiftly stirred in, and the bread used to dip into the cheese. Oh so satisfying. Melty tangy cheese heaven. The Kharcho was so flavorful and warming, perfect for a chilly foggy night. Khinkali, beef and pork, knocked my socks off. Time warp back to Moscow and amazing times. Excellent. The Ajapsandali, better known as Eggplant from Heaven, was incredibly wonderful'Got the pear lemonade, also the tarragon one. No tastes like these, delicious and so refreshing. This place is tremendous and the food is some of the best Georgian cuisine I've ever had.Enjoy!

New Georgian food fan here. New as in I just discovered it last week when I was in Seattle for a couple of days. I found a Georgian cheese bread cafe that looked amazing. I decided to try over regular American breakfast since I've never seen Georgian food plus the sexy cheese bread pics sold me. One bite of the soft bread, cheese, and egg I was on Yelp looking for Georgian food in back home in SF. So glad I found Mimino!!! We got the cheese bread, eggplant, chicken stew, both the mushroom and beef dumplings and a beef soup. Hella bomb! The bread was still warm and the cheese still melty when it got to us. The eggplant was still in tact and super flavorful none of that mushy eggplant mess. The chicken stew was also flavorful I just wish the pieces of chicken were smaller. I opened the soup and a strong smell of dill hit my nostrils. I was kinda sad I normally don't like dill but it worked so well in this beefy soup. It's a pop up and delivery only, had some trouble trying to place an order but called in and the guy that answered was super helpful. Will def order again!!!

Amazing!!!! I've been searching for Georgian food in SF and Mimono answered the call. Phenomenal, flavorful and fresh, at a very fair price. I will be ordering again soon and crossing my fingers they open up a sit-down restaurant someday after the pandemic!

Disappointed. They were not open based on the hours shown on their website. They did not answer when I tried to call them, but I instantly got a text back from them asking if they could help me. I texted back that I wanted to place an order and are they open, but I got no response to my queries. The fact that this is not a brick and mortar restaurant adds to the dubious nature of their operation. I was hosting a party and I made chakapuli and mtsvadi. I planned to order more appetizers from Mimono. It was good that I made plenty of food and I whipped up some more dishes at the last minute, but disappointed to miss out on kachapuri and pkhali. After a very awkward experience at Tamari in San Carlos, I am beginning to wonder where to eat Georgian food in the Bay Area.

We were craving Georgian food and we stumbled upon Mimino. The menu is small but tasty. The egg Hachpori was heavenly. The Khinkali (beef/pork) was just as we remembered it. We enjoyed taking out first bite which brought back fond memories of the cobblestone streets of Tbilisi and summer rain storms. I highly recommend Mimino!

Very delicious Georgian food. I ordered Chahohbili and Khachapuri Megruli. Both of them were very delicious especially Chahohbili. You can tell that food is done with true Georgian soul. Will definitely order again. My next stop will be Khachapuri Acharuli and Pkhali.
