I was so excited to see this new spot open up at Serramonte. I got the pandan coconut, strawberry, Oreo and Smores Choux. They were all super tasty and not too sweet at all. I loved the slight crunch from the outer layer and the creamy filling on the inside. The Strawberry Choux was a family fave, followed by Oreo. They are pretty big and messy to eat- we cut them in half and had lots of napkins close by. Will definitely be back for more!

I stopped by Le Le Choux to grab a sweet treat before going back to work on a Monday afternoon. It wasn't busy when I ordered but I saw a few people walking around the mall with their boxes so they do seem to get a good amount of business? The worker at who helped me was very friendly and carefully used a scale to measure how much filling to put in the choux, going back a few times to make sure the amount was just right. I ordered an Original Choux and a Canele, which totaled at $10. A bit higher in price than I was expecting, but not too surprising as I'm used to canele prices in SF. Both items were enjoyable, had a good vanilla flavor, and were not too sweet. I liked the sweet crunchy crust on the choux, and the canele had a nice and crispy shell. I do wish that the canele could have been just a tad bit sweeter though...

Craving a sweet treat and been wanting to give this place a try. We arrived at around 2:30pm on Sunday, minutes before a line started to form. The seasonal offering was black sesame; however, was told that the cream wouldn't be ready for about another 40 minutes. So, I order the chocolate choux with the recommended matcha filling ($5) instead. Hubs ordered the Tiramisu ($6) and I also picked up a canele ($5).Our items were packaged nicely. We started with the canele - caramelly crisp exterior and soft interior. Good but maybe a bit pricey at $5 as it was kinda small. Hubs enjoyed the Tiramisu one. The choux is a light and crispier than others we've had. All 3 items were not too sweet and had good flavor. They hit the sweet tooth craving.

Soft opening at Serramonte mall. Selections around 3pm were somewhat limited as the group of people in front took the last mango choux.Inside the shop was clean, no tables to sit. Luckily there's a food court area where you can sit and eat at. The choux cost 5-6$ depending on whether you get their specialty ones. Today I ordered the original with the matcha cream and Oreo cream. The matcha cream was not too sweet and the texture of the choux was nicely balanced with the cream. It is soft opening right now and possibly I went when it was only one staff working. If they are planning a big turnout, I hope they hire more people.

When I heard that Tanforan will be closing, my first thought?Noooo!!!! What's going to happen to Pâte à Choux?!IMO, it was the only eatery/shop worth going to Tanforan for. For those missing their pâte à choux, they've found a new home inside Serramonte. Le Le Choux soft opened on 1/28/25 (use entrance near Crunch Fitness and they'll be to your left). Takeout only (no seating).M E N U*Original OR Chocolate Choux au Craquelin ($5 each)-- Filling choices: Vanilla, chocolate, or matcha*Premium Choux: Strawberry, Mango, Tiramisu, Oreo ($6 each)*Canelé: French pastry w/ caramelized shell and custard like interior ($5) *Choux Cake ($15)C H O U X*Choux au Craquelin - Original w/ vanilla filling ($5 x2)*Choux au Craquelin - Chocolate w/ chocolate filling ($5 x2)*Strawberry Choux ($6)*Mango Choux ($6)*Tiramisu Choux ($6)*Oreo Choux ($6)I'm basic so I always stick with their Original Choux au Craquelin w/ vanilla filling (filled to order). The choux shell was sturdy yet delicate with a sweet and crunchy, crackly cookie crown (like a light streusel). The pastry filling was thick, creamy smooth with flecks of vanilla beans. While lightly AZN sweet, it always hit the spot for me. I gave away the rest of the choux and they enjoyed it. S E R V I C ECordial and prompt. No line so I was in/out in minutes.Overall, glad to see Le Le Choux (FKA Pâte à Choux) find a new space to continue serving their delicious choux. Now, I have a reason to go to Serramanila more often!

I was super excited to try Le Le Choux after I saw the signs up!! I've been on the hunt for more choux pastry places around the peninsula and I was super stoked to see them open. The shop had a soft opening this weekend and I was surprised this place didn't have more folks lining up to try this place out. They have a limited menu so far and offered a few options this weekend. I saw Oreo, mango, yogurt (sold out) and regular.I ended up going with the Oreo and it was $6 per choux pastry. The choux pastry was very light and crisp on the outside, a lightly sweetened custard inside, a cookies n crème cream on top and finished with a goofy Oreo dipped in melting chocolate. I really liked this!! It was super light to eat and not overly sweet at all. Just the perfect amount.I'll definitely try more flavors out, but the Oreo one is pretty solid! Welcome to Serramonte!!! :)

Just found out that Pate Choux in Tanforan is closed, but it's okay because there is now Le Le Choux. Same owner I assume since their Instagram page advertised for both stores. The daily special flavors ( Oreo, mango, strawberry, banana brulee, tirmi Choux) are so vibrant in color that it lures you in. They have a weekly flavor that goes on rotation and this week, it is a black sesame custard. Their puffs are a bit on the small side, and I know everyone enjoys the filling, but it's a bit much for me. Once I finish the puff pastry, I always have a bunch of cream spilled over. The shelled puffs is crunchy, yet soft and the filling is light, creamy and wonderful. I was able to try their canele today and it has a caramelized crust with a rum/vanilla flavored custard filling. The inside is moist with an aromatic crunch on the outside and they only make 20 a day! The outside was a bit difficult to bite into though. The man packing our pastries was super friendly, he was so passionate when explaining all the flavors, and the history of the canele. The banana brulee is delicious and the strawberry one has strawberry jam mixed in with the cream. I love that they like to experiment with new flavors so it doesn't get boring. Looking forward to trying other flavors. My favorite was the hojicha from Pate Choux, so fingers crossed that they will have it eventually.

So happy to see on my visit to Serramonte that this place is finally open!! We don't have many choux (pâte à choux, cream puff pastry) locations so this is definitely a treat to have. They had their soft opening during the long weekend that just passed. The store itself is cute and small. Mostly enough space to see what's on the menu, what's in the display case, and patiently wait in line. The decorations are cute and I especially loved the mini telephone booth. There was a line when we first walked in the mall and decided we'd check it out after we got food at the food court. It was perfect timing because there was no line. They had a really good selection to choose from. I of course had to get one of each, to be able to give a full review. I ordered:1. Crème Strawberry - Strawberries on top were fresh and tart. I was surprised when I cut it in the middle it had a strawberry jam along with the crème in the middle. It gave it a refreshing taste so it wasn't all crème. 2. Mango - When I first walked in, I knew I was already getting this since I love mangoes. The mango on top was fresh, crunchy, sweet, and tart. Just likely the perfect mango that isn't over ripe. I liked the mango jam or filling it had inside with the mango crème. I also, liked that it was semi hollow in the middle.3. Oreo crème - I love the beautifully decorated cookie on top. When you cut it in the middle it has the crème and a custard kind of filling. 4. Tiramisu - I wasn't sure if it was a wafer cookie on top or white chocolate. It was a fresh crunchy cookie. I liked that prior to putting it in the box, he put a light dusting of cocoa powder. It was light and creamy not too coffee flavored. It was perfect in every bite. Inside, I was surprised to see like a lady finger filling l.5. Piping hot and fresh canele - I was instructed to wait 20 to 30 minutes prior to eating. I reassured him don't worry, I'll eat the pastries when I get home. I've never had a canele before so I wasn't sure what to expect. When I was cutting in it in the middle the outer shell was hard but inside the filling looked moist. I loved it because the outer shell reminded me of eating the edges of home made brownies and cakes. It was crunchy but kind of melts in your mouth. It was kind of like a bread pudding in the middle. It was delicious. All the pastries I tasted were amazing. They had a crispy outer shell that had a light filling on the inside. It was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I liked that the pâte à choux wasn't overly filled so it didn't get soggy like. Service here was amazing. I loved the attention to detail with the pastries amd the care they have with placing it in the box. The gentleman who helped me told me all the pastries were made fresh this morning. You can definitely taste it. I highly recommend everyone to stop by. I can't wait to come back and try the cold brew fruit tea and the wonderful variety flavors they have next time.
