Came here on a Wednesday morning around 9:00 AM and there was no line. There's cute little pastel green and pink tables and chairs outside ok the sidewalk for seating, but the actual store is very small. I love the pastel color palette of the shop! There is a small collection of beautiful baked goods to choose from, and they have a decently sized drink menu as well. There's a shelf where they sell a bunch of cute curated products, but they're definitely pricey.I got the Pandan Chocolate Love Knot, which was massive and beautiful with its pandan green and chocolate brown filling peeping out! The shine on the outside seems to be from a glaze, and it's quite sticky. I love the green from the pandan and happy to see more treats in more shops including it as a flavor. The actual dough was soft and fluffy, and there was a generous amount of chocolate and pandan filling in it. It was a very sweet baked good, though, so keep that in mind. All their treats are on the pricier side, so I'm not sure this would be an every day stop for me. Worth checking out though -- they have lots of beautiful treats!

Came on a Wednesday morning around 9 AM with friends. The place was very cute and offered some outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and kindly provided suggestions upon request, which I always appreciate.I ordered a breakfast bread and an almond passion fruit tart with a cherry blossom iced latte. The breakfast bread, made with cheddar cheese, green onions, and sun-dried tomatoes, was a great choice, even though I typically don't go for savory baked goods. The almond passion fruit tart was good; the passion fruit jam complemented the almond base nicely. Unfortunately, the coffee was a miss for me. They make their syrups in-house, with three flavors to choose from: lavender, rosé, or cherry blossom. I ordered the cherry blossom, their seasonal flavor, but the syrup overwhelmed the coffee, and I didn't particularly enjoy its taste. My friends ordered different pastries, including a Canelé and a Pandan Chocolate Knot, which I tried. The Canelé was overly hard and had just an okay flavor. However, the Pandan Chocolate Knot was easily the best of the selection I tried--soft and delicious!Overall, I don't think I would intentionally revisit this place.

I kept seeing Le Dix-Sept's new location on my social media feeds, so I really wanted to check them out. I came on a Sunday around 3pm and were happy to see that they still had most of their items, with the exception of 3 things that had sold out for the day. I went with the Canelé and Pandan Chocolate Knot. I would say that both items were just fine--there was nothing to really write home about. The Canelé was solid, but I've definitely had better ones elsewhere; I felt like Le Dix-Sept's was a little too dry and dense. Similarly, the Pandan Chocolate Knot was just okay. I like that they used dark chocolate, but there was very little pandan flavor, and the breading part of it was pretty average if not below-average. Overall, their pastries were lackluster, especially compared to the other bakeries that exist in SF. The indoor space is very small with no places to stay, but they have some outdoor seating. Overall, I would be willing to try some of their other items if I was already in the area, but I don't know if I'd actively seek Le Dix-Sept.

A promising bakery, hidden in the potrero hill. There's room for improvement on some of the baked goods. I tried 4 of their baked goods: (1) pandan love knot, (2) truffle oil focaccia, (3) almond passion fruit tart, and (4) canelle.Pandan love knot - this was ok, a tad dry. Was expecting more of a brioche texture. 3 out of 5.Almond passion fruit tart - nice almond taste and great texture. Overall, this is my favorite. 5 out of 5.Truffle oil focaccia - strong truffle oil taste, would prefer to dip into the oil instead to control the amount of oil. 3 out of 5.Canelle - had really high hopes for this, but the one today looked burnt and had a strong bitter burnt aftertaste. 1 out of 5.

This is one of the most underrated Bay Area bakeries! They have a takeout location in the Mission, and they recently opened a second location in Potrero Hill with some outdoor seating. I discovered my love of cannelés when I visited Bordeaux many years ago, and the ones here are on par. They get the extra-caramelized, crunchy exterior right, contrasted with a soft, custardy inside. The vanilla-rum flavor is great as well. The buckwheat brownie is another favorite of mine - so fudgy with contrasting cocoa nibs, chocolate bits, and naturally gluten free. Some other hits are the lavender rose bun with pull-apart sugary layers, and the popular passion fruit almond tart. They do a few savory items like the breakfast bread with sundried tomato and aged cheddar, and a fluffy Castelvetrano olive focaccia.I rarely see pistachio milk offered at cafes, but they have it here. I enjoyed it in the rose latte.

The new place in Potrero Hill is a bit similar to the Mission location in terms of space. It's a small storefront with some outside seating only, but the design is very clean and pleasant.Just got a Pistachio Croissant. It was alright, but quite small and lackluster for $8. Will probably try something else on my next visit.

Visited on a Sunday morning around 9:30am, bakery was a little bit busy with a small line of about 5 guest ahead of our group. Line moved somewhat quickly. The bakery is very small just a counter with no indoor seating, they do have about 6 small tables outside of the bakery. Food: Passionfruit Almond Tart - this was really more of an almond cake with a madeleines type texture, topped with toasted sliced almonds and a little passionfruit curd. This was tasty but since the description was a tart we were expecting a short crust tart pastry with a filling, so a little disappointed that this was actually a cake. Seasonal Brioche Tart - a brioche bun topped/filled with a hibiscus pastry cream, berry jam and fresh pomegranate seeds, brioche had a nice crumb with enough structure to hold all the toppings, pastry cream had was tart and tangy, jam added some sweetness, a very unique pastry Canele - this was okay, crusty on the exterior with a slightly moist custardy interior, wish this had a bit more of the caramelized sugar flavor, a little bit bland, and wish the crust was a little bit thinner so you got more of the custardy interior Service was good, staff was friendly and able to describe all the pastry offerings and was fairly quick to pack orders. Overall some unique pastry offerings, on the pricey end, glad I gave this spot a try but probably wouldn't go out of my way to return here.

Small cute bakery in Potrero Hill, only fits about 4 people inside just a heads up. There's outdoor seating. Wasn't too impressed with the menu and we came right when they opened so not everything was available. Mostly sweet options, they just had a breakfast bread and some focaccia as savory options. Was hoping for some more unique flavors or combinations and menu felt limited when I came but I did get the almond passion fruit tart and canele. Wasn't expecting canele to be so hard on the outside and had sort of a burnt taste, not sure if that's how it's supposed to be but was okay. The tart was warm and not bad but not amazing, interested to see what other options they bring in seasonally..

SF is known for its cafes and Le Dix-Sept is no exception! This is a truly amazing shoppe with unbelievable pastries and stellar drinks. Employees are so friendly and helpful as well making recommendations as needed but it will be hard for you too choose from all the delectable daily offerings which switch up based on availability and ingredients so each experience is awesome when you go.On the day we were there we tried the breakfast bread with sun dried tomato, yogurt cake with pear, walnut cookie, and pepperoncini cheddar focaccia, each so unique and perfectly crafted. I also had the hojicha tea latte which was so smooth and full of flavor. The cafe also has a great selection of food and small gift items as well! Located in a quiet area on the next block from Anchor Brewing, street and metered parking available.
