Fantastic for 30+ years!Joe and Becky have been running this joint for longer than I can remember. My wife and I came here with friends before we got married. It was a ritual to come in and get a bagel "Becky style" and me the corned beef hash with eggs over easy.They are still here killing it and the food is just as good as I remembered! If you are looking for fine dining, this is not your stop. If you are looking for reasonable priced food and good coffee, this is your joint!

They have the best hashbrown (non greasy). Crunchy, potatoes. I had 2 sunny side up eggs, 2 sausages, hash brown, added side order of pancakes, came in 2, was fluffy. The owner said costco ran out of eggs. I wonder how he got eggs. He jokingly said, "from his chickens." He said the eggs are about a dollar each. I'm going to start a trend, donate $5 for eggs to them. He said, if he doesn't get eggs, he will retire. These mom and pop shops will be like dinosaurs, extinct. I would say, run , get your breakfast now. He still have prices from the 80's . My breakfast cost $ 17 without tips. Go figure. I've eaten somewhere else fancy, it cost $30 out the door. It was a great breakfast to start my day. No thrills, just good old fashion breakfast..

This is a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop/breakfast spot that serves American styled breakfast and Chinese appetizers/food. I personally like these types of places because if I ever want pancakes and wonton soup, they can serve both to me. Friendly service. Cash only.Located on Geary Blvd between 25th and 26th Avenues; steps away from Trad'r Sam.

You know a spot is good when regulars come in everyday for the service and food. Needed a quick hit while working so ordered some take out and added a cup of coffee. Mama is great. And my ordered came fast although there was hardly a seat available. Even ran into some regulars I know and were t they also come there regularly.

SOLID delicious breakfast! If you want good American breakfast with a side of wontons haha yeah I said wontons, then this is the place! Everyone was getting the wontons so I had to try it, they were big and delicious. The cornbeef hash was perfect! And coffee was perfectly strong and yummy, I'm a coffee snob! I like strong diner coffee not sour foofoo stuff.

Little hole in the wall American style diner food run by an elderly Chinese couple. No frills, very basic, a little crusty, but made for a quick cheap and easy in and out meal.

Lived in SF all my life (Sunset district) and never been here before. For good reason, as it's a tiny hole in the wall that can't fit more than 20 people (including bar seating). Their largest table fits 4 and is the only one to do so, meaning seating is very limited to small parties. However, i deeply regret not coming here sooner.We ordered the Western Cheese Omlette and Joe's Special, and both were fantastic. Very hearty but not overly filling. Most of the breakfast/specials come with a side of hash browns and your choice of toast, making those orders quite worth the price. They also mix their American menu with some Chinese food (won ton soup and Chow mein).Just make sure you have cash to pay, since they're cash only. If you're fine with simple diner food and want to support a small local family business, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Super old school delicious eggs hash browns and coffee. Cash Only and small but the tables turn quickly and there is counter.

Simple food made well. With large portions and an Asian not so secret menu. Cash is queen.

Cute cash only hole in the wall with kind staff, decent prices (especially for SF), and good simple food. We got two breakfast combos and a 3 stack of pancakes, ate both of them right up. Only offered pork sausage and bacon so if you don't eat pork, not a lot of meat options (corned beef hash which we don't like). All in all, solid experience and we will be back.
